roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Sunday, the one day that Addison had pretty much to herself since her shop closed at one, and here she was spending her free time walking the aisles of Home Depot. Since owning her own home she'd spent a lot of time in stores like this, and each time she even just took a walkthrough she left with so many questions and disappointment. It was insane the price some of the things you needed around the home were, and yet even though she knew she shouldn't waste her time she couldn't avoid places like this.
Especially not today since her sink had decided to break, or the faucet anyway, and she needed a new one before she could turn the water back on and finish doing her dishes (what had broken it in the first place). The sad thing is she'd had no idea about what sort of faucet she'd need, especially with the fifty million different shapes and sizes, and even after buying the damn thing she'd have no idea how to put it together. She seriously was way too overwhelmed in a store like this, but she figured she had to grow up and figure these things out at some point in her life, so better now than later when something huge and significant would break.
She pushed her cart through the store looking around, mostly just pricing things around, but she did end up putting a few odds and ends in the cart just because she'd figure out a good use for them. Her next stop had been the faucets and other sinks and things for the kitchen, the aisle she'd been dreading since it's what she'd needed the most, but she just took a deep breathe and started down it looking at the things that were lined along the shelves. She stopped at a few of the faucets admiring the designs, but she didn't really care to have her sink look all that fancy so she just passed them up and kept walking. She knew she'd be very indecisive though and wished she would have broughten someone along with her, but she was sure she'd at least be able to find a stranger to help if need be. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES !?;; good for a start hopefully !? The wind chilled Drew a little as he headed out to get in his truck this morning. Drew dreaded days like these, it was cold and miserable, just the kind of weather he hated. Drew hopped into his little Chevy S10 knowing he had to go and grab a new thermostat and pipes for his sink. The night before his thermostat had went out and the pipes under his sink had busted. It seemed like more than a perfect excuse to head to the Home Depot.
Drew loved the Home Depot, it was a place he frequented, especially after he moved into the little house he now called home. It was a quaint little place, but it needed lots of work, and now was one of those times. He loved the place, but it wasn't what he had wanted. Drew had always had dreams of being something more, but here he was stuck in Jacksonville, New Jersey as a repair man. He always made it by doing odd jobs here, and there, but that definitely not his dream. Drew finally reached the store, and let out a sigh of relief, he hated driving in this snowy weather.
As he entered the store he headed over to the plumbing area, seeing as that's where the pipes he would need where located. As he passed by the aisle with the faucets and sink fixtures he saw a familiar face. Well she was familiar to him, she probably had no clue who she was. He had seen her several times in the store, but had never had the courage to speak to her. As he passed her he noticed she had a confused look on her face. It was hard tell why, and he had to stop and ask. "Hey, you look like your having a hard time here. You need any help?"
He figured it would be nice to help a stranger, he did it all the time anyways it was his job. He knew it couldn't hurt, and with the right amount of charm he could maybe pick up her number or something. It would be nice to get a little social interact with someone passed a "Hi, how are you?" on the job. He hoped at least he could help her with the problem she was having. Well wait of course he could, it was his job.

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Brass, the one color she had never been a huge fan of, and most of the fixtures along the shelf came in only that color. The ones that had came in silver, the color she had wanted since it'd blend and look the nicest, had came in the ugliest assortment. Either the actual faucet was too high, or the knobs were uglier than sin, or pretty much it just wasn't going to line up with the pipes. Either way her chances of going home with a nice looking new fixture were starting to seem impossible, or at least that's what she'd thought before she'd found one that seemed like it could fit. It looked good too, that was a plus, but right beside it another design stood out to her as she stood staring at both of them side by side.
Decisions, decisions, she was the worst person when it came to making them so she'd at least been thankful she'd gotten here early. She could maybe stay a little longer than expected picking out the perfect one before making her way home to put it together. Wait, did she even know how to put it together and attach the pipes and all of that? This job that had seemed simple in the beginning was starting to turn into a real nightmare, and what in the world was there glue doing right below them all? Were you supposed to glue it in place? She sighed feeling overwhelmed for a moment as she took a step back to try to look at the situation from a different angle, one a lot less complicated, but the more she looked up and down the aisle it just wasn't getting any easier.
When she heard a males voice coming from behind her she turned her head in the direction of the sound, and when she noticed the handsome stranger she just smiled politely and nodded. "That's an understatement," she joked returning her attention to the merchandise infront of her before looking back at the man a moment later, "Do you happen to know anything about these? The house I bought had rusted pipes and the faucets cracked and it's just a mess right now," she took a deep breathe before giving him an apologetic grin, "and i'm unloading a bunch of unnecessary information onto you, i'm sorry," when she was nervous or frustrated though she did tend to ramble on, so she really couldn't help herself in this situation. "How about I just start over, hi." She laughed knowing it'd sounded lame, but she thought it to be the best idea of the time, "I'm Addison and i'm beginning to see why renting is so much easier than owning a home." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES !?;; drew's adorable !? Drew couldn't help but chuckle the poor girl was freaking out over the choice in faucets and it was quite amusing. Drew shook his head as the she rambled and sort of failed at introducing herself. Being polite he introduced himself as well "Hi, I'm Drew and I'm wondering why your introduction felt like the being of an AA confession." Drew laughed, he thought it was kind of funny, and he hoped his new acquittance would think so too. "No, but in all seriousness, You aren't unloading to much on me, and I know exactly how you feel. My pipes busted last night after my thermostat went out, and trust me renting is not that great. I work as a repairman, and well it isn't any worse than owning."
Drew knew how the girl felt though, owning a house could seem like a bigger job than it was worth. He certainly felt that way. "Now back to the whole faucet thing. Yes, I definitely know about working on faucets. They are a huge pain and I'll be the first to admit I hate them, but I can offer some help." Drew knew all to well the problems Addison was having, busted pipes and new faucets seemed like something he had worked on thousands of times over, and it always was a pain to get done. He just hoped she wasn't in way over her head in a problem she couldn't fix herself.
He looked up at the faucets, and smiled a little the only good part about repairing and installing a new faucet was picking out the new one. "So, what faucets are you looking at to put in the place. You might as well take your time picking because this is the most fun part of the job." Drew smiled as Addison still stood there looking at several of the faucets, the all looked so shiny and new, but it wouldn't take a normal person more than a year to have them looking dull and disgusting. It was just how they worked. Nothing that is ever that close to dirty dishes will stay clean for long.
Drew decided the best way he could probably help his new acquittance was probably to help her install her new faucet. It would take time away from the serious problem he had at his house, but it only seemed like the right thing to do. "So would it help if I came to your place, and installed this thing for you. It would save you the time and effort, and I could do it in half an hour at the most. It's no big deal, and I would do it for free." He hoped she would accept his offer it would be nice to help out such a gorgeous girl with such a huge problem.

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Addison, trying hard not to laugh, was finding it difficult as he brought up an AA confession, "was it really that awkward?" She had to laugh at herself shaking her head, "Well Drew, maybe i'm just getting my practice in for my next stop of the night," she of course was joking and hoped the grin on her face was proof enough of that, she was nowhere near the alcoholic type. "It's nice to meet you," she replied with that heartfelt smile on her face all jokes aside. When he mentioned his pipes bursting she just sighed looking back at the shelves, "t'is the season must be," the winter had always been frigid in New Jersey, but she'd never had to deal with any of this nonsense before now. "A repairman? I'd call that luck that out of everyone to come down this aisle it had to be a repairman," that made her feel so much better knowing she now had someone who knew what he was doing beside her.
Hearing that he had hated working on faucets had caused her smile to falter as she listened to him explain. If he'd been a repairman and thought they were a huge pain, well she could only imagine the mess she'd make if she tried handling everything herself. She had taken pride in being self reliant, but the way he'd been making it sound had her getting nervous that she wouldn't be able to fix it herself. "I would appreciate any and all help you're willing to give me," she could never turn down help, especially from someone who knew what he was doing., "but I don't want to keep you from anything if you're in a hurry," she'd appreciate the help but didn't want to burden him.
She looked back in the direction of the faucets and sighed as she heard him say it'd be the most fun of the entire project, "you're really starting to worry me about this whole experience," she grinned looking over at him for just a moment before returning her attention to the ones she'd had her eyes on before. "Why do they have to make such fancy ones anyway? I wouldn't dream of spending that kind of money unless i'm going to showcase it, and it's not like the sinks the centerpiece of the room," she had to laugh at some of the prices, but then again everything was expensive these days so why should these be any different.
"I like those two though, the silver ones right there, the simple ones," she laughed pointing out the two that she had her eyes on, but she could not pick between the both. She hadn't expected his offer as she couldn't help but bring her attention to focus on him, "but don't you have pipes to fix at your place? I wouldn't want to be a burden," she sighed not wanting him to feel obligated to help her, though when he said it'd only take like a half an hour she looked over at him once more smiling some, "as opposed to the all nighter i'd have to pull if I did it myself huh?" Probably even longer since she was clueless, "I guess if it wouldn't be a bother, if you have more important things to do though i'll completely understand, but if you have a little while I could really use the help," she needed to stop talking, she was seriously just going in circles right now, but that's usually what she did when nervous around new people outside of her shop. She was definitely out of her element at the Home Depot. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES !?;; haha random faucet talk has me laughing this morning hah !? Drew laughed as the flustered girl tried so hard not to make things awkward it was kinda cute, well she was kinda cute it general. She really seemed like the kinda girl Drew could really get used to being around. He thought it was kind of odd that he thought that already about this girl, but she was pretty stunning. Drew just hoped that helping this girl would turn out in his favor. Drew had been down on his luck with girls ever since he moved to this god forsaken town.
Drew saw the faucet she wanted to get. It was simple, and it would be super easy to put together. He knew the the repair and everything wouldn't take more than half an hour, but he really hoped he would have more time to spend with this girl she was sweet, and had a nice sense of humor something he needed in a girl. He just hoped to get a chance to spent some time getting to know her. "So, how about we grab this faucet, and ill grab my the stuff I'll need to put this bad boy in. After that I'll be on my way, and you can have your sink back in working order. Sound good!"
Drew laughed as Addison joked about pulling an all-nighter just to get the work done on the faucet. "It isn't that bad Addison, I promise. You can watch me do it just in case it ever happens again, that way you know how to get the job done if you need to do it." Drew chuckled, this chic knew how to make him laugh, and he loved that. "Don't worry about the stuff at my place, I can handle that whenever I can get to it. My work is helping others, and I would feel bad if I left a poor damsel like you in such distress. I'm gonna grab what I need to get this job done, and I'll meet you at the check-out counter."
Drew walked off, and grabbed some supplies from the surrounding isles. It wasn't much he needed to grab, just about ten dollars in supplies. Drew walked to the check-out and handed the cashier his supplies, and promptly paid with a twenty. Drew grabbed the bag the cashier threw his things into, and made his way over to Addison. "So, show me the way good madame." Drew smiled and headed out the door of the Home Depot. It felt good to finally get out of there, as much as he loved the store, it was a place he could only handle in small doses.

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Addison was so grateful that he had came down this aisle at the time he did, and now that he was even offering to help her she was over the moon. How lucky could she be to have this happen? She was still hesitant not wanting him to have to waste his time helping her, but he seemed excited about it so she figured it couldn't hurt. "I could always offer some dinner as a thank you, I could order out?" She hadn't really planned dinner so it wouldn't be too big of a deal, and with the short time it'd take him to fix the faucet the dinner would be there, "does that sound like an idea?" She wanted to at least pay him back somehow, and dinner could be a good way of doing just that she hoped.
Hearing him say her name had her smiling, though she wasn't sure why, but just the idea of a handsome man actually giving her time and attention was exciting. In her line of business the handsome men's full attention had always been on the bride, she wouldn't expect any less, so of course she felt flattered whenever it was her time to get noticed. It never lasted for too long though, but after years of the same thing she didn't expect anything different. When he brought up being able to watch she nodded with an appreciative smile, "I think I would like that," she liked the idea of getting to watch and make notes for if it happened in the future.
Addie, though still somewhat nervous, decided in the end it'd been the best idea. It's not like many handymen would have put aside what they were doing just to help her out, so as he made the plan she just nodded, that sheepish grin spreading across her face. She laughed whole-heartedly about the damsel in distress comment, something she definitely was at this moment dealing with such a task, but hearing that he wanted to help did excite her. He walked off after her nodding in agreement as she looked back at the faucet she wanted and put it in her cart. She did as he mentioned and headed up to the front thankful not to have to be here too much longer, and after she paid for what she had she waited for him to go through the line.
"Are you always this polite and helpful, or did I just catch you on a good day?" She asked grinning as wide as she could as she left the cart there and carried her own bag outside. She had to pull her jackets zipper up some feeling the cold, "my cars right over there," she pointed in the general direction of her vehicle looking around, "do you need a ride or did you want to follow me over there?" It was probably a dumb question but this was all new to Addie so she honestly wasn't sure what would have been right to say.

Drew laughed as Addison joked about the way he had behaved so kindly. "Miss, now where would the world be with out a guy using a little chivalry every once in a while." Drew smiled and bowed. "Now ma'am if you would be so kind as to lead me to your house, we can get to work on your sink. After that I'll be more than happy to take you up on the dinner date.... as long as there is a movie afterwords." Drew laughed and hopped into his S10 and got ready to follow Addison back to her house.
As Drew drove his truck he couldn't stop smiling. He really wanted this evening go perfect. He wanted to show Addison he could be an amazing guy, if not that a pretty good one. Drew turned up the radio, and coasted down the road, everything just felt right. He couldn't shake the feeling that this was going to be amazing. As the two rolled up to Addison's house, Drew got out and flashed Addison a warm smile. "So, this is your humble abode I must assume. It's a nice place, I must say, or at least it looks nice from the outside." Drew said jokingly.
Drew grabbed the supplies out of the back of his truck. "So, are you going to invite me in or are we gonna just stand here." Drew laughed. He was ready to get this job done, and spent the rest of the night with Addison. She was a beautiful girl, and tonight seemed like the prefect time to try to hit it off with her. He just hoped she felt the same way.

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -It seemed there was a permanent grin on Addison's face, but that wasn't hard to do when you were carrying on like Andrew had been. For starters he was absolutely gorgeous, and to watch him joke and bow like that had been just too cute. She knew better than to get too ahead of herself in wondering if they'd see each other again after tonight, so instead she just shoved those thoughts into the back of her mind, "and here I thought they were saying chivalry is dead these days." That was a huge compliment in her opinion, and when he said he'd follow her she simply nodded. "I have so many movies at my house I could open a movie store," it was a general statement but absolutely true. Her movies were her dates on weekends when she should be out enjoying herself. It was rather sad but that's how simple and secluded her life had become.
When she had put the bag in the backseat and got into her car she could feel a wave of nerves rush over her. She found it hard to believe that there was actually a guy coming over to her house. She freaked out trying to remember if it'd been a mess back there, but she was usually the type that kept things neat and tidy so at least that put her mind at ease the slightest. Pulling into her house she took a deep breathe before opening her door and stepping out of her car. She leaned around the seat and grabbed the bag in the back as she stood up straight as he complimented her home. So this was really happening wasn't it? There was really a man in her driveway ready to go into her house and help her? "Nah, my house is down the road, I just park in this driveway because I like the exercise," she burst out laughing, her jokes being a sign of nerves that would probably get her to say a few more dumb things throughout the night. "Sorry for that was very lame, this is home sweet home, i've had her for just a couple of years." She had hoped you were supposed to call a house a her too, but maybe that only was when you were referring to automobiles.
Addison walked up her steps and across her porch to unlock the door, and when she opened it she walked inside and felt the warmth rush over her. "You're not a vampire are you?" Those pesky nerves were at it again causing her to crack the lamest of jokes, so she hoped that they would disappear soon enough. "Come in, come in, get out of the cold." She opened the door wider for him as he'd had his supplies. "Is there something you want me to help you carry?" She had no idea as she shut the door behind him so the cold could be trapped outdoors. "I should probably show you the sink now huh?" It's not like he'd automatically know where it was. She slipped her boots off not wanting to track snow across the house as she started in the direction of the sink motioning for him to follow.

Drew laughed as Addison tried pulling a few jokes, it was obvious to him that she was letting her nerves get the better of her. The poor girl seemed like she had never socialized with a guy before. "You are too cute Addison..." He said as she stood there beckoning him to get out of this cold weather and come inside. As Drew hurried in right behind Addison, he kicked of his shoes and surveyed the house. It was a quaint little house, but it looked like it served her well. The house was well kept, and easy to tell a women had been living there. Addison quickly lead him over to the sink, and Drew quickly got to work.
This job would be a quick fix, nothing to major that he couldn't have it done in half an hour or less. Drew grabbed his toolbox and started detaching the fixtures below the sink, and quickly had the old sink out and resting on the floor. "So, Addison this is the part where you tell me where you want this pesky old sink." Drew said with a coy little smile. He had no clue where to put it, and it needed to be out of the way. It would make his job and her life much easier. Drew stood there tools in hand looking at the girl he had met no more than an hour and a half ago. No wonder she was so nervous, she had just met him and here he was throwing out free favors and whatnot.
As soon as the old sink was disposed of Drew, quickly got back to work hooking up the new sink. "Addison, you should probably come watch this." Drew said as he placed the new sink in the hole where the old one was. It fit perfectly and the hole for the hook-ups where aligned too. It was a good thing, that would have tacked more time on this job. "Now, all I have to do is hook this line here to the hot water side, this one to the cold water side, and then hook up your drain pipe, and you should be good to go." Drew quickly attached all the pieces in there correct spot and then hopped up to check to see if everything was working. As he turned on the hot water and cold water everything seemed to be working. There where no leaks, or any faulty work, so Drew felt good about the job he did. "There ya go Addison, good as new!"

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Hearing him call her cute was something new to her. She tried to quickly remember when the last time she'd been called something like that had been, and she couldn't come up with a time right off the top of her head. Men had told her she'd been damn hot or hot as hell but they were usually drunk and just looking for a hook up after a wedding, and of course Addie was not the kind to go for that so she just left without even acknowledging their compliment. "Uh, thank, you?" She had no idea what to say, but her cheeks spoke volumes with the shade of red they'd become. That alone was a silent compliment in his direction that he could get such a rise out of her.
She showed him to the sink and leaned against the opposite wall wanting to watch him work. This was all fascinating to her, and soon when he'd had the sink laying on the floor her eyes widened as she heard him start to talk. "I don't really know what i'm supposed to do with it, I guess throw it away right? I don't think you can recycle it, can you?" She had honestly never thought about where she'd wanted it, out of the house at least, but him asking the question had caught her off guard. "I guess it should probably go outback with the other trash so i'll remember to bring it to the dump next time I go, that is what i'm supposed to do with it right?" She insisted on helping him by bringing it out of the house and into the back putting it near the barrel of trash she'd had covered.
Once back in the house she watched as he'd moved and fitted the new one, and when he said she should watch she nodded going close to him and kneeling down so she could see underneath where he was talking about. She nodded as he told her which went where, and then about the drain pipe, and of course she couldn't help but sneak a grin in his direction excited that he had been helping her out like this. If there was anything that could go wrong it probably would have while she'd been alone. She watched how easy it had been for him to do everything, and as he hopped up she stayed kneeling so she could see the pipes when he'd turned the water on. She couldn't see a drip anywhere signifying a leak so she stood up excited as hell as she crossed her arms infront of her chest, "Hm, and to think I thought it was so much more work, and it was easy as 1-2-3. Thank you once again, you're a life saver, and now I should hold up my end of the bargain huh? Do you want to just leave those in here for right now so you don't have to go back into the cold so soon?" She pointed to his tools that weren't in the way at all. "What are you in the mood for tonight for dinner? Did we ever come up with something at the store? I have literally like an entire drawer of take out menus." That was probably not something to be proud of but it proved she didn't get out much.

Drew chuckled as Addison point to his tools, and asked if he just wanted to leave them for now. "Sure, I can leave them for now, I just hope I remember to grab them on my way out.... What am I talking about, I'm camping here for the night right?" He said joking ly. He just hoped she would take it as a joke. He always seemed to make jokes that where a little over the top, and he really didn't want to scare this chic off. She was wonderful, and Drew didn't have anything else going on. Addison was the only girl he had met in awhile who actually sparked his interest.
Addison then asked what he wanted to eat, Drew honestly had no clue. Drew was a big Italian food person. It was his favorite food, but her didn't know if there was a nice Italian food place that would deliver. "I don't know what I want Addison, is there any nice Italian places that deliver. I have had Italian for so long!" Drew smiled and just hoped Addison was an Italian food person. He didn't want to make a big ordeal over ordering food for the two of them.
Drew also just hoped Addison had a good movie they could watch. Drew loved movies, and he would be comfortable watching anything she had, but he knew it would be better if they watch some sappy romantic comedy. He loved funny movies, and girls usually loved romance movies, so where could he go wrong. "So, Addison what good movies do you have to watch, anything cute or funny?" Drew was at least hoping for this night to end in a nice kiss, and he couldn't tell if it was going to end up that way or not right now.

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Addison had this disease where she could take any good moment and turn it into a bad joke, so when she could hear the humor in his voice about camping out she instantly burst into a fit of laughter. Here she thought that she was the only one that would try to throw lame jokes in every chance she got, and here he was coming up with some real good ones himself. "Oh yeah, sure, should I set the tent up outback?" The idea of a man sleeping outside in a tent when it was freezing was funny to her, but it was much easier than imagining a man spending the night inside, that'd just make her nervous as hell thinking about it.
Hearing his choice of foods she thought about it as she reached the drawer where she kept all her menus and opened it up pulling out a binder that was full of papers as she placed it on the counter. "When I first moved to town my family and I literally drove all over the entire city just picking up take out menus, and I spent the first weekend relaxing and ordering them to put in here so it was easier to find what I was craving. I'd then order from random ones and if they were any good i'd keep them in here, but if they were bad i'd toss them out." She thumbed through the tabs in the binder until she saw the italian one and opened it up, "this is probably really weird isn't it? I shouldn't have pulled this puppy out, I guess I just like things to be organized." She gave him a sweet smile as she pushed the binder in his direction motioning him to come closer to look, "you're the one that saved the day so you choose where we eat."
As it sounded like he gave her control over the movie she grinned and started to think about all of the movies she had, most of them being romantic since her job pretty much forced that lifestyle on her 24/7. She tried to think of one that was at least as funny as it had been romantic, that way it'd be the best of both worlds, "the proposal is funny," she threw the random movie out as it'd been one of her favorites. She had wondered if any clients that came in for flowers had been fake or arranged marriages, but then again it was still a great movie because it showed that love could prevail no matter what. She was such a hopeless romantic it wasn't even funny, and she did believe that her prince charming was out there, but she never really took the time to look for him as she found burying herself in work to be more rewarding she had a twisted sense of how things were supposed to work. "When in Rome is also a great one! Let's just say I could probably list off a hundred different movies right now and they'd all be able the same thing," she laughed with a slight shrug, "Weddings are pretty much my specialty, flower arranging more specifically, so if the movie has a wedding in it it's more than likely in my collection. Do you have a favorite?" She was afraid the more he stuck around she'd prove to be way too much of a nerd, but as long as he wasn't frightened away she'd take it as a good sign, and he was still around after seeing her massively oCD binder of take out menus so that was a very good sign.

Andrew chuckled a little as Addison suggested putting a tent outback. Her little jokes had been keeping him smiling all night long, and he was glad she had that sense of humor. It was something that Andrew always loved in a girl and Addison, had it in the fullest extent. Drew knew he was had a crush on this girl, and Drew hardly ever had those anymore. He thought he had outgrown the crush stage a long time ago, but low and behold he was crushing hard once again. "Well, you can pitch a tent out back, but I thought it would be better if I stayed inside." Andrew laughed as he quickly joked back.
Drew saw Addison pull out a binder full of take-out menu's, she was organized more than he ever could be, but it was nice to see order in someone's life. He smiled as she explained how she had spent a day driving around just picking up menu's. "No it isn't weird." Andrew said smiling. "Your just super organized, and I'm kinda impressed." As Andrew flipped through the binder he saw a menu for an Italian restaurant there in town, it was for Maggiano's Little Italy. Andrew loved Italian food and this looked like it would hit the spot. Andrew quickly pointed it out to Addison. "Will this do?" He said hoping she would like it. He already knew what he planned on getting, but he hoped she liked Italian.
Next on the agenda was picking a movie, Andrew always hated deciding movies. He never knew what the other person thought was funny, but he knew that these where Addison's movies so they had to be good or she wouldn't have them right? As Addison named off a few, Drew listened to what she had to say about each one. "Well, to be honest I'm a romantic comedy guy. So anything along those lines will satisfy me, just pick your favorite and I'll be more than happy to watch it with you." Drew said with a smile "So, what is it exactly that you do Miss Addison, I mean you obviously know my job, so it would be nice to know yours."

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"Better if you stayed inside?" She chewed on her bottom lip some deep in thought, or at least it'd appear that she was when infact not much had been on her mind at all, but soon she was shaking her head no with a grin, "I tend to sleepwalk in the middle of the night, and since I haven't had a house guest in, well forever, i'd probably think you were a burgular and would try to beat you with a broom or something, so I think you'd be safer in the tent." She burst into a fit of giggles imagining that scene actually take place. She could see herself sneaking up on a sleeping Andrew just to start swatting him with the broom while she was in zombie mode. She didn't even know if she was one to sleep walk though, but it did make for a funny idea.
Hearing he was impressed with what she'd done with her menus gave her a sense of pride, and for once she wasn't as embarassed about pulling the binder out and showing him. "I swear i've been this way forever. I was probably the only kid in kindergarten sorting the crayons instead of coloring with them," she quickly stopped talking as her eyes reached the size of half dollars and she just stared, why in the world would she tell him something embarassing from her past like that? There was just something about this guy that she found put her at ease, and she wasn't as nervous around him as she was normally with everyone else. She found that hard to believe since he was very attractive though, so you'd think that she'd be even more nervous than usual, but there was just something about his laid back attitude that kept her grounded.
She watched him casually flipping through the menus, and when he stopped and asked her opinion she leaned over and tried to remember what she'd had from there before. "You know I don't even remember eating from there, and since tonight is nothing but new experience why not right?" Tonight had definitely been unexpected, so she just had to go with it and she might just find herself having a good time, or at least that is what she hoped. She walked over and picked the cordless phone up from it's base as she walked back and placed it down beside him. "So, what should I have tonight?" She leaned beside him to look over the menu at all of the options, "What's their specialty?" Hearing that she had complete freedom in movie she grinned immediately knowing the answer, "When In Rome, perfect movie when we're eating italian right? Rome and Italian pretty much go hand in hand," she was excited that she'd made the connection between dinner and movie, but she hoped she didn't sound like too much of a nerd. "I'm a small business owner, um, the floral shop that's downtown, she's all mine." She decided to just throw that out there since he asked, but not a lot of guys cared for flowers so if he wasn't interested in her work it wouldn't be a surprise.
