roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"Better if you stayed inside?" She chewed on her bottom lip some deep in thought, or at least it'd appear that she was when infact not much had been on her mind at all, but soon she was shaking her head no with a grin, "I tend to sleepwalk in the middle of the night, and since I haven't had a house guest in, well forever, i'd probably think you were a burgular and would try to beat you with a broom or something, so I think you'd be safer in the tent." She burst into a fit of giggles imagining that scene actually take place. She could see herself sneaking up on a sleeping Andrew just to start swatting him with the broom while she was in zombie mode. She didn't even know if she was one to sleep walk though, but it did make for a funny idea.
Hearing he was impressed with what she'd done with her menus gave her a sense of pride, and for once she wasn't as embarassed about pulling the binder out and showing him. "I swear i've been this way forever. I was probably the only kid in kindergarten sorting the crayons instead of coloring with them," she quickly stopped talking as her eyes reached the size of half dollars and she just stared, why in the world would she tell him something embarassing from her past like that? There was just something about this guy that she found put her at ease, and she wasn't as nervous around him as she was normally with everyone else. She found that hard to believe since he was very attractive though, so you'd think that she'd be even more nervous than usual, but there was just something about his laid back attitude that kept her grounded.
She watched him casually flipping through the menus, and when he stopped and asked her opinion she leaned over and tried to remember what she'd had from there before. "You know I don't even remember eating from there, and since tonight is nothing but new experience why not right?" Tonight had definitely been unexpected, so she just had to go with it and she might just find herself having a good time, or at least that is what she hoped. She walked over and picked the cordless phone up from it's base as she walked back and placed it down beside him. "So, what should I have tonight?" She leaned beside him to look over the menu at all of the options, "What's their specialty?" Hearing that she had complete freedom in movie she grinned immediately knowing the answer, "When In Rome, perfect movie when we're eating italian right? Rome and Italian pretty much go hand in hand," she was excited that she'd made the connection between dinner and movie, but she hoped she didn't sound like too much of a nerd. "I'm a small business owner, um, the floral shop that's downtown, she's all mine." She decided to just throw that out there since he asked, but not a lot of guys cared for flowers so if he wasn't interested in her work it wouldn't be a surprise.

Drew smiled as Addison rambled on about her sleepwalking. He found it funny that she could joke about things like that. It was nice to have someone to joke around with, and he felt like tonight was overall going in his favor. She was opening up to him and even joking. Most girls at this point got shy and awkward, but Addison was opening up and letting him in, and he liked it. Drew hoped things would keep going good, and for some reason he just knew that they would. "Well if it's any consolation, I wouldn't be to afraid of you, even if you were trying to hurt me. You seem like quite the push over."
Drew listened to Addison's little story about how she was always different in school. It was funny to hear her talk about how she was always so organized and particular about things. As for Drew though he had always been the funny kid in school, always cutting up and having fun. He was always different, but everyone loved him for his care-free attitude. "I was never really like that in school." Drew laughed "I was always the kid cutting up in class and planning the next big prank."
As Addison asked about the restaurant Drew was more than happy to answer the questions. He loved the little Italian place, and it was somewhere he often ate. "Well, I would suggest the Fettuccine Alfredo. It's really simple, but it taste amazing. Don't worry trust me, I have eaten there a million times, and for whatever reason I never get tired of that dish." He hoped that Addison liked Italian food, if not he would feel bad for making her eat something she didn't like. "Yeah, I guess Rome and Italy do go hand in hand." Drew smiled, It was cute she was trying to make connections between the stuff they where doing. He hoped it was a good sign. Addison then started talking about her job, it was awesome that she owned her own little shop. He thought it was amazing she had the drive to keep something like that going.
"So, you work with flowers! That's really cool, do you do a lot of wedding? I mean I guess that would be your big money maker, but I wouldn't know. I just think it's awesome you can keep your business running, it must take a lot of drive." Drew hoped she would be glad he was interested in her work. He loved hearing about what other people did, he had a boring job, and it was nice to hear that other people did exciting things. "So, are we gonna order this take out, or what?" Drew asked jokingly. He was ready to get this little date started.

roses are red and violets are blue honey is sweet but not as sweet as you - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"A push over? Is that a good thing?" She of course knew what a push over had been, and most of the time she knew that they were something bad, but at the same time if it meant that he wouldn't be afraid of her she took that as a good thing. "I am quite a push over though, you're right about that," she had always been a push over in her life, so she tried to embrace it instead of think of it as something bad. It didn't hurt that she tried to keep a positive outlook no matter what though, so that attitude sort of tied right into everything else perfectly.
She laughed as she imagined a younger version of himself, pretty much just his head on a little kids body, running around causing trouble and pulling pranks all throughout school. "You and I would have never gotten along, I would have been horrified of you," she did feel that her life had been somewhat boring, but she was proud of herself for being brave enough to invite this stranger back home to help her. This was the first time she'd done something as reckless, not that he was anywhere near a threat, but around him she actually did take a chance or two and it felt good. She could not tell him that though in fear of looking absolutely lame.
"I'm supposed to trust a man I met in the sink aisle of a home improvement store? Eh, i'm not so sure," of course in the end she would trust him since he seemed to know it rather well, and since she hadn't ate much italian since living here she had very little to compare it to. "A million time huh? And you're not sick of it yet? It must be delicious," she figured she'd just take his word for it since he was taking her word on movie choice. She thought it was cool that they were both having a part in how tonight went, and she thought they worked rather well together in this first encounter. Most men that she encountered liked to take complete control of the situation, so it was nice to have him being able to do things 50-50.
She stood staring at him for a second with the biggest grin as she tried the make out if he was being serious or not. "I don't think i've ever seen a man more excited for flowers," she was joking of course though it was cute how happy he'd sounded while talking about them. "My biggest business comes from weddings and funerals, so it's safe to say i'd pick a wedding over a funeral anyday." She always hated having to do flower arrangements for funerals just because it was so sad, but weddings were such a happy occassions that she'd get in such high spirits perfecting the ensemble. "It's not that hard to keep it going, drive's not hard to find when you lack a personal life." Most would find her life absolutely boring, but to her it's all she'd known for so long that she loved the simplicity. Tonight was fun though and different, and as he asked if they were going to order it she nodded taking a deep breathe as she picked up the phone. "I wouldn't be keeping up my end of the bargain if I didn't buy you dinner would I?" She pressed the talk button and dialed the number as she put it to her ear, and as they answered she gave their order and also her address, and before long the phone was getting hung up. "We have a little time to kill before the food arrives, how about I show you around?" She had no idea what to do since she hadn't played host in forever. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES !?;; yay for second page !? STATUS !?;; finished !?
