personality:Mike is what most would consider the "adorable emo boy", even though he refuses to place himself into any sort of category. In fact, that is one of the only things that can really piss Mike off. Calling him gay, goth, emo, scene, etc. just get him so mad that he has no problem getting in your face and telling you exactly where to go. He doesn't stand for stereotypes, and isn't the type to stand around and let others fall victim to the cruel words of their peers. He'll stand up for a complete stranger, or even an enemy. He's really a rather friendly and loving guy, once you get to know him and know what not to say around him; unless, of course, you are just joking ... Just don't joke about war. Ever. That's a big no-no in his book. Mike is one of those people that support world peace, and support the soldiers but not the war. It doesn't make sense to most people, but to him he would have it no other way.
Another thing he doesn't like is zoos. Mike hates to see animals in captivity and blames no one but humans. If they weren't so greedy, in his opinion, zoos wouldn't be needed because there would still be enough land for all the animals. He loved all animals but monkeys, because they scare the crap out of him, but he still doesn't like to see them in cages. And no, it is not because we "evolved from monkeys" because Mike does not believe in the theory of evolution. He refuses to even learn about it, and isn't afraid to walk right out of a classroom if a teacher starts talking about it. He won't answer test questions about it, nor will he talk about it unless he is free to voice his own opinion. He can be very outspoken, but can also be shy. It all depends on his current mood, the people around him, and everything else that is going on.
Music and style are a big part of his life as well. He self taught himself guitar and can play with both hands; Zacky Vengeance and Synyster Gates inspired him to play, and he finds Avenged Sevenfold to be one of his favorite bands, with some of the greatest lyrics around. He's more into rock music and heavy metal, but will tolerate some songs and artists from other genres. Eminem is the only rapper he absolutely loves and he knows every one of his songs. Other rapper he finds fake and just does not understand why every song has to be about having sex and partying and drinking. He prefers songs with emotion, true emotion, and songs that he can relate too. Most people that he's met don't agree with him, including his family, but they also do not agree with his sense of style. Than again, maybe that's just because he wears makeup and spends every day hiding in the back of a Hot Topic somewhere, or in Build-a-Bear with friends, or in Gamestop, or some other store. He's always out and about.
Though Mike does not smoke or drink or even think about doing drugs, he does love to party and hang out with friends after school. He isn't the type to just stand still, and rather enjoys playing sports and going for walks and just being a teenager - even though he is really a young adult by now. Laughing and being goofy make his day, and he can't go a day without giving someone a hug. It's just who he is, and he doesn't plan on changing that for anyone any time soon. Unlike most guys, Mike doesn't go looking for sex, or trying to seduce some girl into it, or anything like that. He's respectable, polite, and responsible - part of the reason he doesn't like drinking or drugs. It makes you loose yourself, and he doesn't want to be lost and end up hurting someone or himself.
