Kaycee Cole Briggs Converse clad feet pounded snow into the ground, the faux fur covering his ankles now dusted with snow. Kaycee's legs moved in time to the song playing through the skull candy ear buds he had in. Brains, brains for lunch, brains for dinner brains for brunch... Danzig sang with every bound the male took. Sweat dripped down his face in a single drop as he rounded the corner of his fifth lap. "Okay, Kaycee, you can stop for a drink." he told himself, his speed slowing as he approached the bench his Juicy Couture bag lay on. He stopped as he came to the purse, the cold barely affecting him when he sat on the metal bench. From the bottom of the silver plated seat icicles hung beautifully; a testament to the frozen world that surrounded the male. His make-up free face lifted towards the sun as he breathed in the frozen air. While his green eyes stared at the snow-brushed trees that surrounded the field his hands dove into the over-sized back and brought out a Gloomy Bear water bottle. He slowly unscrewed the top and brought the chilled metal bottle to his lips. He sipped it gently, allowing the ice-cold water to wash down his throat and quench his thirst. After putting the water bottle away his fingers flew to his phone where he quickly sent a text to Axel, a smiley face and a curious question asking what he was up to.
After making sure the text had sent, the boy put his phone away and stood to his full height of 5'1" and stretched as he readied himself for another few laps. As soon as Kaycee had finished stretching he was off. His feet pounding the packed snow, the fear of slipping far from his mind. In his ear Cancer Slug started 'Winter'. Of course he needed horror punk music to power him through the frozen weather and keep him jogging through the snow. As he rounded the first corner the snow from the trees was blown his way in the wind, kissing his face and melting as the flakes touched warm skin. The male winced against the wind, his lashes catching flakes that flew towards his bright eyes.
Kaycee's breath quickened as he continued to run, finally taking in the beauty that was the snow. All around him snow coated grass, the track, and even the hill that led from the field to the practice track. Since there was always a game going on in the upper field it was normal for the track team, and various joggers, to use the lower field when they wanted to practice or just work-out. He sighed softly, breathing out a cloud of mist that blew back into his face as he passed through it.

Axel stretched, his body feeling oh so toasty, nestled next to a warm body. He grinned. Damon, he’s been more of a friends with benefits the past few months rather than just a fling. He ran a hand down Damon’s exposed body. Hearing a muffled mumble, he laughed. ”You can stay here as long as you want love.-“ he breathing hitched as he was pulled back down into the bed… So Axel ended up leaving his dorm later than he wanted. He shook his head, leaving the room. He was wandering over to JHS to visit some friends, maybe some teachers, blah, blah, blah. He ran his hand through his ‘just fucked’ do… well, he had an excuse to have his hair like that. He smirked, letting out the smallest of shivers as the cold air his exposed neck. He could feel Toren tugging at the leash. He rolled his eyes, chuckling. ”No Tor… We aren’t going to Rockdale Park quite yet.” Running a single finger over her head. the Doberman continued to just pull at the leash. He walked onto JHS Campus, seeing student’s milling around. Some giving odd looks, he knew his appearance is out there with the facial piercings; his tattoos, he walked by couples making out. The ground was mostly clear, just slushy.
He visited a few people, and a few teachers. Toren all fidgety, he had that gut feeling… The minute he was about to walk out of the classroom, Toren who had been laying down, tore the leash from his hands, taking off. ”Fuck.” he said taking off after his dog, seeing her run through people’s legs, around people, and out the door to the outside world. Axel paused once he got outside. Grabbing the attention of the first person he saw, he asked ”Doberman… did you see one run through here?” he was frantic, glancing around for his dog. ”I saw one heading towards the fields-“ Axel took off before she could even finish speaking. Axel ran by students, teachers, running through the snow with ease, even if it was about up to his knees. He reached the fields, again he paused his strides. Seeing a black and brown blur racing by someone jogging. Axel huffed, walking down the worn down path. Following his prancing dog. He stopped, ”TOREN!!” yelling loudly enough that people across campus stopped and turned. He stood there, hands on his hips. His dog paused, turning around, and sitting down. He walked up to his dog, snatching the damp leash up off the ground.
He turned towards the person jogging laps around the track. Wondering who the hell would be jogging. Then he saw who it was, that it was Kaycee, he smirked, he would go jogging in the snow. Axel tilted his head, sitting down on the bench. Not really minding that his ass was going completely numb. Toren was chewing on the leash, wanting to run around and play in the snow. Axel crossed a leg over his knee, and waited to be noticed by Kaycee.

Kaycee Cole Briggs Panting heavily, Kaycee rounded another corner. His eyes fixed on Axel and Toren. Unable to imagine why the other male might have come out to the practice field he slowed his pace to a steady jog and eventually came to a stop next to him. "Fancy seeing you out here." He grinned, pulling his hair into a messy ponytail and letting it go as he drew in a few deep breath. Slowly his breathing calmed and he felt his body slow down with his heart rate. "Mind if I sit with you?" He questioned, not waiting for an answer before plopping down on the frozen bench. The male turned to the other, his eyes bright with curiosity. What had caused him to come out to the high school today, and a day Kaycee wasn't wearing any makeup. The boy's hands flew to his face with this realization, his cheeks turning several different shades of pink as he attempted to hide what he viewed as unattractive. "You'll have to excuse me," He muttered from behind his dainty hands, "I wasn't expecting to see anyone this morning so I didn't wear any makeup."
Kaycee's eyes shifted toward Axel, allowing him to watch the other male out of the corner of his eye. Well, it didn't matter that he wasn't wearing make up, at least he was getting to see Axel. Slowly and carefully, the boy pulled his hands from his face, showing clean skin and large eyes. He wiggled his nose slightly in the wind, causing his septum piercing to move slightly. As he was doing so the wind picked up, blowing his hair into his face. Without thinking, Kaycee brought his hair into a low pony-tail and tied it with a black elastic he kept around his wrist. After he had finished tying his hair up he flipped it behind his back, sending a draft against the wind that pushed it's way against his back.
Chills raced up his spine as he shivered in the cold. A faux fur vest was hardly enough to keep a person warm, yet he had expected to be running his entire time outside that morning. His eyes traced Axel, noting his lack of winter clothing as well. "You look...cold" Kaycee observed, hoping that he wasn't nearly as cold as the freezing boy was. Without thinking, Kaycee pulled his knees to his chest, his feet resting on the frozen metal.
Peering out from behind his legs he studied the other, hoping that his normal appearance wasn't strange for Axel to see. After all, there were very few that had ever seen the young male without make up. Those few consisted of his parents and Ayden, so not many. With a small sigh Kaycee let all his worries drift away on the breeze. What did he have to fret over, the two were just enjoying a nice winter's day together. A small, timid smile crept onto Kaycee's face as he waited for the other male to respond.

Axel sat there, trying to sooth his fidgeting Doberman. He knew if he let her off leash, she’d just bound around in the snow, and stay close. He was debating…- his thoughts were interrupted when he notice Kaycee notice him. He glanced down to Toren, who was calmer and laid out flat on her side, basking in the cold snow. In the back of his mind, the fact that he hadn’t heard from his mom in the past few days, worried him immensely. She was off in Europe, for a business trip, but was due back two days ago. He smiled at Kaycee as he approached, shrugging his worry out of his brain. HE shrugged his shoulders at his ‘fancy seeing you out here’ ”Visiting some old friends, some teachers… I actually wouldn’t have headed this way if the beast Toren hadn’t pulled the damn leash out of my hand, making me chase her around. Then I saw you jogging around.” he said softly, glancing at his friend. He looked… different; he nodded his head to him asking if he could sit down. No makeup… he noted. Seeing Kaycee hide behind his hands, Axel tilted his head. ”Kaycee… You should know… you are beautiful with or without makeup” He responded to his words, his tone somewhat different than usual. His brows knitted together, worry, etched into face; someone a mile away could tell something was on his mind. Well… maybe not a mile away.
His mind drifted slightly, hating the gut feeling he was having right now. His mother… that topic just kept nagging at his brain. He wondered where she was, if she were ok… He felt a weight on his knee; he looked down, seeing Toren resting her head on his knee. He sighed softly, running his fingers over her head. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Kaycee pull his hair back ”How are you doing? Why exactly are you running in the freezing cold?” he asked, glancing at Kaycee, once again pushing the worry for his mom to the back of his mind. He turned towards Toren, who was once again pulling at the leash, he sighed. ”Jesus Tor, Calm down would ya?” He said unsnapping the leash, letting her go wander about, knowing that she would come back. He let out a light, but deep chuckle, seeing his dog leap up at something. He watched his dog for while, before turning his hazel eyes towards Kaycee again, smiling lightly
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the younger teenager shiver. He felt a slight shiver go up his spine. Taking his cell out of his pocket, he glanced at the time, hm… three hours until his first class. His Psych class. He missed a class, good lord, getting caught up was difficult. He couldn’t miss another class, that he knew- his train of thought was shattered turning to look at Kaycee ”Hmm? Oh… I’ll survive… I left my jacket in my dorm.” He said softly. He let his gaze shift up, his multicolored hair blowing in the breeze, into his hazel eyes. His hand instinctively brushed the pink/black/blond locks from his face. Still looking up, ”Aren’t you cold?” he asked softly, once again turning his hazel eyes to Kaycee’s, seeing him having drawn his legs to his chest, Axel smiled at him, a loud bark catching his attention though. He peered over towards Toren. Wondering what she was barking at. He shrugged a shoulder, rubbing his temples.
Notes: good lord…. Axels’ so depressed in my head…. and come through in the post x.x hopefully he’ll be back to normal soon…

Kaycee Cole Briggs Kaycee's grin grew slightly as he watched Axel and his dog, wondering why he had never gotten a dog before. Dog owners and their pets always seemed so happy with one another. The young male stretched his tired arms towards the sky, arching his back as he did so. A good stretch for his spine and he was feeling much better than he had directly after his jogging. His green eyes took in the relaxing dog; she really was quite a beautiful animal. He turned his attention back to Axel, "Awe, so it wasn't to come see me?" he teased carefully and pulled his legs back to his chest. "Naw, I'm just playing," admitted the young male, "But in any case, I'm glad you're here." He shrugged slightly, pressing his lips to his knees in embarrassment as the compliment reached his ears. Though he suffered from slight vanity he had a hard time believing that he could be attractive with such a plain face. A slight blush crept onto his face as he acknowledged what had just been said. Kaycee could agree with the other male, but he was unable to, instead all he could do was accept the other's opinion.
The male sat in silence for a while, observing Axel's mood and the slight shift it was beginning to take. Useless in situations where he had to provide comforting words, Kaycee thought carefully of what he would say and how he would react to the current mood of the other male. The wind blew through the two, breaking the silence for only a moment as Kaycee formed the words in his mouth. "I'm doing pretty well... Are you okay?" He questioned slowly, his mind racing with what could possibly be going on in Axel's head. After a few seconds of a pause that seemed to last forever the male answered the previous question asked of him. "Well, you know, I'm on the spring track team and I kind of need to get ready for it. Ya know?" A slight smile appeared on his face as he explained his running in the cold, and Kaycee immediately hated himself for smiling while another person was obviously upset.
Kaycee turned his attention towards the dog, his face gaining a soft expression. Dogs were interesting creatures, like people with four legs and fur. The young male sighed softly and watched the dog bound through the snow. After watching the dog for a while he felt the eyes of Axel on him and shifted eyes back to him, his head soon followed. He watched as the other male checked the time on his phone, unaware of what Axel was doing he leaned forward and tilted his head a little. "What ya doing?" His voice possessing a sing-song quality. His head tilted down a little the boy raised his eyes to take in Axel's face. His face turned to a slight pout, "But you'll get cold!" He mumbled, barely audible over the wind that rushed between the two of them. His eyes showed worry for the other male.
At Axel's question of whether or not he was cold, Kaycee shook his head violently. Why would he be cold he just ran two miles and the endorphins rushing through him warmed him thoroughly. He pushed himself back onto his bottom, letting his legs drop into Indian style. Even if he was cold, Kaycee wasn't one to complain about silly things such as the weather.

Axel saw the grin on Kaycee’s face broaden, before stretching. Axel’s tired gaze glanced over seeing a few students wandering by, shooting glances in his direction. He merely cocked a brow at them, and they scurried off. ”Man… I know I look different… but do they have to stare.” he sighed running a hand through his messy hair. He knew his outer appearance was out there, with the tattoo’s, the facial piercings, the crazy hair colors blah, blah, blah, but staring… fucking rude. He chuckled ”I’m glad I stopped by… I need to visit more often. he muttered softly. While he was missing what was snoozing back at his dorm, he was happy he came out to visit. Axel saw the other shrug, and do what look like burrow his head against his knee. He chuckled lightly at the display.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see the younger teenager just watching him, obliviously noticing his off mood. He turned his head, shrugging a shoulder. Was he ok? ”That’s good… I’m… worried is all really” Axel responded quietly. He knew Kaycee… He would be trying to figure out what was wrong… what was bothering him…and somehow, the younger teenager always got him to talk. Why he just talked, he didn’t really know. He cocked a brow. ”Ah. That’s right… but in the snow? Couldn’t you go to a gym or something?” He shrugged a shoulder again turning his worried gaze back towards his dog. Where ever his mother was, he just prayed she was ok, praying that the gut feeling he was having… He sighed softly shaking the thought out of his head again. He rested his hands on his belly, leaning his head back. ”I’m sorry my mind’s a million miles away” he spoke softly, raking his hand through his hair again, tugging at the ends of the locks.
Axel sat there on the freezing bench, just watching his dog frolic about in the snow, his mind drifting to the psych class he had in a few hours, he didn’t really want to go, but he couldn’t get behind. He noticed the softened expression that came across Kaycee’s face. He let his own small smile pull at his pierced lips, letting out the faintest of shivers when a gust of wind blew in his face. He cocked his head towards Kaycee ”Hmm? Oh looking at the time. Got my Psychology class in three hours” he said shrugging a shoulder, slipping his phone back into his pocket. He looked around for his wandering dog, seeing her bothering some students a way’s away. He let out a whistle, and his dog came bounding back over to him. He laughed at his friend’s pout, and mumbled words Yea… I’m on the cold side, but I’m totally fine…” he responded softly glancing around, before up at the sky again, the wind blowing his multicolored locks around, in his face mainly. He cocked a brow at Kaycee shaking his head when he asked if he was cold. HE shrugged his shoulders, Toren laying her head down on his knee, staring up at him with those liquid brown eyes.

Kaycee Cole Briggs As finished stretching he noticed that the other male's attention was on a few of his classmates. With a wary eye he turned his attention to the group. Their interested gazes and confused staring was nothing Kaycee wasn't familiar with. After all, he wasn't in drag for halloween or some big joke, it was his lifestyle. His grin, which had disappeared at the site of the other teenagers, came back in a soft smile. One that gently grazed his face for a fleeting moment. "Let them look, it provides their meaningless lives with some interest." To any random person it may seem as if the male had it out for his class mates. However, this was not the case. Instead, the male had just grown accustomed to their gaping mouths and too-loud whispering. In fact, he had grown rather annoyed by it. His thoughts began to drift towards being shoved in his locker when Axel's voice brought him down to earth. He was glad that the other male had stopped by, even if it was only for a little while. "Yes, you do. Come by during school, you can see the teachers then." He chimed as he rocked back from his knee.
Though the younger male always seemed to be in high-spirits around Axel he wasn't indifferent to his moods. He noticed each and every change that took place. So, he was worried. That was one of the few guesses that Kaycee found himself making, but worried about what. After a few moments of going over the possibilities in his head the male decided to ask. "Don't think me rude," he started, "But, why are you worried? Did something happen?" His eyes widened as he prepared himself to take in every word that Axel may utter.
He was surprised to find that the subject was then changed to why Kaycee was in the snow instead of the gym. It was a decent question, but not something he was expecting. "Oh, uhm, I thought that maybe conditioning would be better in the cold.. Since, uhm, I need to build up stamina and junk." Kaycee fumbled with his words as he attempted to explain his reasons behind being outside instead of in the warmth. As he struggle3d he noted the male's mood change once more. Something must really be weighing on his mind.
Kaycee couldn't take it any more. With his knees up in the air he began to scoot his way towards Axel. Once he reached the male he pushed himself forward and onto his knees as to be closer to the other. "Just tell me what's going on... I can't promise I can help, but I can be an ear if you need one." He told Axel softly as he reached a timid hand towards him.
Once the words had left his mouth a heavy wind swept through, knocking snow from the surrounding branches and sending chills and shivers up Kaycee's spine. Perhaps it would have been best to bring a coat or at least a blanket with him. His worried eyes studied Axel as he watched the male check the time then comment on it. College schedules seemed like such a difficult thing to get the hang of to Kaycee, yet who was he to judge. He wasn't in college yet, though he doubted he would have much trouble once there he still hated hearing about class schedules and such. As he thought of college life coming in the next year he smiled to himself. He was so excited about experiencing the lifestyle Tori had and Ayden gave up.
Though he was thinking of college he still noticed the cold around him, as well as how the cold might be affecting the male opposite him. "We could go get hot cocoa or coffee if you're cold..." He suggested, doubting that the other male could possibly be warm in the weather.
