[/COLOR][/B]: Ethan isn't too bothered with appearance. Probably because he considers himself a natural beauty. Most days, he just slaps on any old pair of pants and whatever T-shirt happens to be within arms' reach. His hair is a dark brown colour, kept at a relatively short length because it's just more manageable that way. Due to the way his thick eyebrows are angled, he constantly looks as if he's thinking about something deep. However, the mischevious sparkle in his eye says otherwise. He has a straight nose and well-defined jawline, and his face often displays that notorious 5 o'clock shadow. He thinks it makes him look badass, though, so that's just fine. He's rather tall and fairly muscular; a rather desirable member of the male species.
personality: Ethan has never had any trouble with confidence. In fact, it is one of his most notable traits, and part of the reason he has kept his head above the water as an entrepreneur for so long. When it comes to his business, he takes a practical, no-nonsense approach. He's the boss, and he isn't afraid to let everyone know it. Socially, however, he can easily loosen up and become the life of the party; another factor in his success. You'll often catch him making the rounds in his bar, chatting to the regular customers and welcoming new ones. He'll even get up and sing once in a while, if you cheer loud enough. He is a natural people-person, getting along with mostly everyone and trying his best to cater to their needs. His business is literally his life, and he would rather die than lose it.

Another large part of Ethan's life is music. His mother was a concert pianist before having him, and she made sure he could appreciate the art of sound as much as she did. She would have preferred to see him follow in her footsteps, but if a Karaoke bar is what he's offering, she'll take it. Ethan loves his mother even more than he loves the bar. Unfortunately, she is suffering from Stage 3 breast cancer: the only sadness in his otherwise happy life. Looking after her has helped him grow up exponentially, going from an immature, spontaneous child to a caring, responsible man. He is good at being a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. He absolutely adores kids; he can't remember his dad, who left his mother when he was very young, yet has a strange fascination with being a father himself.

Of course, his personality does have its faults. For one, he finds it difficult to commit, and hasn't had an actual 'girlfriend' in years. This stems partially from a certain mistrust of people. He tends to put himself first, and though he will always pause to help a friend in need, at the end of the day he does most things for his own personal gain. He also drinks quite a lot. Not to the point that it's a problem, but to the point that his reputation isn't entirely spotless. As far as he's concerned, so long as he doesn't have a good reason to start smoothing out his edges, he shouldn't have to put in the effort to do so.
