personality: out-going and bubbly are probably the best two words to describe Kay-Cee. She loves life and is very adventurous; she has even got the scars to prove it. She has moved around alot during her life so she finds it easy to talk to people and knows how to make a lasting impression. Some people would say that sometimes she could act a bit ditzy, but that is just her inner child coming out. As well as being into all the girly stuff she is also enjoys spending time with the lads. She doesn’t mind getting her hands and knees and god knows whatever else dirty whilst playing a game of football in the rain. She doesn’t mind chipping her nails whilst she is climbing cliff faces. Oh did i mention she is a bit of an adrenaline junkie too? To put it plainly Kay-Cee is up for just about anything. You name it she would do it. However amongst all the madness and craziness she isn’t as tough and strong as she makes out to be. Deep down beneath all of the smiles, is someone who is very scared, but that is something for her to know and you to find out.

Growing up Cassie had always got attention from people, but it wasn’t always for good reasons. When she was younger she had been told off by her parents a lot because she wasn’t the best mannered of children. She said please and thank you but that was about as far as it went with Cassie. She shoved and pushed other lids out of the way when they were playing in the sand box or they were playing with a toy that she wanted to play with and they wouldn’t give it to her. Lets’ just say she wasn’t a very nice child. But as she got older the negative attention from her parents slowly became supportive, trusting and well they praised her when she did things right. And it was around this time that things started to head south at school. It was the age that she started to feel different. She was getting ready for her first change and i don’t know why but i think the other kids sensed something was different and so they started picking on her calling her names and this carried on for the next few years until... well you know what happened next. It wasn’t until she moved up into high school that she started getting attention again but it was different once more. This time it was wolf whistles from guys. Girls wanting know things about her that were supposed to remain private. Guys wanting to know the same things but for different reasons. It had gotten to the point now where she had a reputation for being a bad girl (because she didn’t do her work sometimes) and so this for some reason turned on at least half of the guys that attended the high school. And so they were asking more questions. Not only this but for some reason the whole school knew she was a virgin. Cassie being Cassie just shrugged it off because she didn’t understand why it was such a big thing that she hadn’t had sex. She knew it was a big thing for the lads because they got teased, but at the same time if they took girls virginity then it was like they had a massive sign on their heads saying i took someone’s virginity and the lads love them. It was like a prize, and she was obviously a very big one. But again she didn’t understand why she was such a big prize.
After what had happened with her parents and growing up the way she did, leaving home at the age of thirteen and having to fight and fend for herself Cassie grew up and she had to do it very quick otherwise she wouldn’t get anywhere in life. She took the first plane from Germany that she could get, and it just happened to be Vegas. She had never been before and she knew that it was supposed to look pretty so she took the flight. When she finally arrived after like a fourteen hour flight Cassie was tired and she didn’t have anywhere to go. So for the first few weeks she slept on the streets until she was finally able to find someone she knew. Or should i say that someone from the night world found her. To this day she can’t remember who it was that had taken her off the streets fed her and clothed her. All she knew was that they helped her to start a new life. They made a bank account her name with a hell of a lot of money in it. They got her an apartment and as soon as she turned sixteen they made sure she had a job. It wasn’t the best of jobs out there but it was a job and it helped to pay towards food rent for the apartment clothes. Just your general stuff. She was very grateful to say the least and she would never stop trying to find the person that helped her. Because whoever they were she wanted to thank them for saving her life.
It took Cassie a very long time to get used to the Vegas life style. All the vibrant colours, people dressed up all the time. Famous people coming and going. It was something completely knew to her and it was something that she was going to have to adapt too. It took her a while to get used to all the changes in America. Even the culture change was different for her. When she moved she didn’t know a word of English, so the language barrier when she first came to the country was ridiculous. It took her a year to learn the language and another until she could speak it fluently without having to think about what she was saying. Cassie now doesn’t have any problems with speaking to people but when she does talk there is the odd word that she says which makes it obvious she isn’t American born. Adapting was the hardest bit for her but once she was accustom to everyone’s attitudes it didn’t take her long to pick up the lifestyle. When she turned 15 Cassie hit the party lifestyle hard. She drank every weekend sometimes even on weekdays. She even started taking some drugs. It wasn’t long after this that the night world was finally able to reach out to her again and get her life back on track. They got her off the drugs and the drinking. Although she still drinks every now and again she doesn’t drink anywhere near as much as what she used to. She finally got her life back on track, they got her a job working as a bar maid at the casinos in Las Vegas, they got her to get her grades back up at school and got her life in general back on track. She had been through the faze of rebelling against everything and she was starting to enjoy life properly again even if there was a massive whole in her heart.
After everything that had happened in such a short space of time, having somewhere to sleep, a place to work and all the other things it was great to have an almost normal life. And it’s probably now that you realise why she got such a reputation. She was now trying to live it down though so she could just go through her last year with no problems and just get on with her life. Cassie had finally managed to get her temper under control and she was the complete opposite to how most night worlders portrayed werewolves. You see in the night world werewolves were lower class. Very lower class in fact. They were generally hot tempered and quick to react in fights. Although she was still quick to react and was seen as lower class (hence the crappy job) unlike every other werewolf she didn’t lose her temper anywhere near as quickly as what the others did. She still had a temper on her but she could now control it. She had a nasty streak of course which only a few people had seen, two of which hadn’t survived it. Cassie was one of those people who got bored very easily and were distracted very easily. Small things amuse small minds. But because of this in her spare time Cassie had taken up karate and taekwondo. It wasn’t long after this that she got in a fight with one of the cheerleaders at school. Mandy her name was. She had accused Cassie of sleeping with her boyfriend, which Cassie being Cassie she had neither denied nor confirmed. Mandy of course took the first swing slapping Cass around the face leaving a hand print and scratch mark on her cheek. She didn’t stand and take it but Cassie’s reply to the hit was “The first one was free, let’s see if you can do it again.” Of course Mandy though she was being cocky and swung for her again, of course she missed. Cassie being much quicker and more agile in seconds was stood behind the girl with her arm twisted in a very easy breaking position. And the girl crying in pain of course. A crowd had gathered and they were in shock at how quickly that there class president and it girl had fallen. Cassie didn’t break her arm nor did she do anything else to her she just quietly whispered in her ear. “You ever hit me again, and having a broken arm will be the least of your worries.” Mandy never went anywhere near Cassie after that. Okay so I’m probably making Cassie out to be a really nasty piece of work but she isn’t, she just knows how to defend herself. And anyway she was a werewolf it was basic instinct to take on the offensive.
Cassie couldn’t help but keep scanning the guy in front of her. And what was worse she kept imagining what he would look like without his shirt on and her head resting against his bare chest. She kept trying to shake it off but she couldn’t help it. Not only that, but there was something inside her that wanted to know everything. She wanted to know what his first memory was, his favourite colour, and his favourite book. Everything. All the little bity details that no one would normally care about. The things that would take months to find out in a normal relationship she wanted to know first. Cassie like most girls didn’t just go for the looks they went for personality but she would be lying if she said looks didn’t help. Chris had a smile that would make any heart of ice melt and it was certainly making her melt and feel weak in the knees every time his lips spread thinly across his face. Looking him over she started at the top and slowly worked her way down taking in every bit of him. The way he squinted his eyes when he smiled and the tiny sparkle that was at the back of them, it had been dull at first but it seemed to be getting brighter with the more time she spent with him. The very small dimples in his cheeks when he smiled. His long neck. Broad shoulders that you could tell even under the jacket where tight and muscle. She liked spending time with him and she didn’t even know why. She had only just met him and yet she had agreed to eat a lotus flower with him even though she knew what happened when you ate one and that being a werewolf the affects were going to be a lot stronger for her and for Chris.
As she was leaving Cassie couldn’t help but to keep looking back to make sure he was still there. She hadn’t noticed but while she had been stood there talking to him the whole in her heart had seemed to fill but now as she was leaving it seemed to be getting bigger again. Her whole body shivered as she thought about it. She had thought that she would never have been able to fill it again but as she stood there and looked at Chris with her hand pressed against the store room door she felt it fill again for that split second that she looked at him. Pushing the door open she walked in almost taking out Tony one of the other bar tenders. She let out a little squeal and jumped slightly her hand immediately going to her heart. Taking in deep breath she sighed looking up and smiling at him. “Sorry Tony i didn’t see you there.” He smiled back at her and shook his head. “It’s alright i didn’t see you either.” With the smile still on his face he cocked his head slightly at her. She furrowed her brow now looking confused. “Tony what’s wrong?” he shook his head again and just shrugged. “Oh, nothing, it’s just I’ve not seen you smile like that in the two years you’ve worked here, i mean i have seen you smile but it’s not been genuine.” Cassie opened her mouth as about to say something before tony cut her off. “But that’s just me, I’m sure you’ve smiled like that before... so is he err... is that guy your boyfriend then?” Cassie took a step back shocked at the question, her back now pressed again the door. “Errmm...” Cassie was now confusing herself it was a simple answer. No he wasn’t your boyfriend, but she couldn’t bring herself to say it. Luckily tony stepped in again before she could say anything. “In fact don’t answer that, it’s not my place to ask.” Stepping forward again so she was no longer blocking the door tony strode forward and exited before she had chance to say anything to him. “No he isn’t my boyfriend.” She called after him but it was already too late. She now felt extremely guilty. The look on his face when he had left looked torn and hurt. Taking in another deep breath Cassie walked forward to the back of the room, where all of the bar tenders lockers were. She didn’t know why but she kept a spare outfit in her locker just in case she decided after work she wanted to go out, but she had never used it so it was still there. This was lucky for her. Reaching her locker she rested her head against it the cool feel of the metal door cooling her for head down. She hadn’t realised but she was actually very hot.. she smiled into the metal door and closed her eyes letting her head rest there for a few moments. With her eyes still closed she slowly reached her hand up until she could feel the dial beneath her fingers. The room was silent and all she could hear was the muffled sound of Lady gaga behind the door. Concentrating she slowly turned the dial until she heard the click telling her it was open.
Lifting her head up from the door she opened her locker and stared at her reflection. She looked a mess. Dark circles beneath her eyes her hair was flying everywhere and her eyes were dull. She shrugged at herself before slowly taking off her uniform. Taking her pin off first she placed it on the shelf in her locker and smiled at it slightly before continuing to get undressed and placing her clothes on the spare coat hangers that she had. Cassie slowly reached her hand up and pulled the black bobble from her head, her hair falling down to her bare shoulders. She was pulling her dress on when she heard the door open she swung round fast covering herself up as best she could and holding her dress tightly to her chest. Her eyes widened at the sight of Chris stood in front of the door. She listened to him babble on and she couldn’t help but giggle at him. All his babbling made him seem all the more appealing to her. She stood there watching him as he turned around trying to be a gentleman. She stayed there for a few more moments just watching him before she herself turned round and continued to get dress putting her jewellery on. Slipping her shows on she walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder with a smile on her lips. “It’s a good job you came in actually; i need your help with something.” With one arm pulling her dress against her chest she used her other one to lift her hair up and turned back round. “Would you mind zipping me up? I can’t do the last bit.”
