A young black lioness crept from beneath a large tree that had shaded her from the sun. Her black pelt wasn't good in the savanna because it wouldn't blend with the grass like most lions' would and dark colors attracted more heat from the sun. She traveled that day and when night was going to fall in a few hours, she rested upon a large cool boulder. Moments had passed and the lioness heard a small noise of a cub. Slowly, she looked around and jumped down once it was spotted. Once she approached the cub, she looked around for signs of parents. None were found.
The cub's eyes looked at her curiously. It must have been left or something had happened to it's parents so she decided to take care of it. "My name is Rave, may I ask yours little one?" Rave asked, lying next to the cub. "Cyron," the cub said looking up at Rave.
