personality: Nikki is relatively easy to get along with. He still has a strong German accent, so it can be a little difficult to understand some of the things he says. He’s very bubbly and loves to meet new people and have fun. He’s addicted to music and would rather be out at a concert than sitting in a classroom. But he’s still a good student, and he tries hard to understand everything. He’s honest, and will tell you straight if he thinks something is not right. He can have his mood swings of course, and at those points, he usually just holes up in his room and writes songs. He’s very sweet and loves to show and tell people all about his German heritage.

Reese was happily comfortable sitting here and making a new friend. He was just that type of person. He nodded as Tyler told him his last name. That was going to be easy to remember. And he was sure going to. Lock it in the deepest corner of his mind, safely tucked away where he could always get it if he wanted it. Making friends for him, was like working in a bakery for a pastry chef. It came naturally and quickly, and he loved every minute of it. Even if he startled people with his outward nature and bubbliness. He smiled softly as Tyler launched into his explanation of his sexuality. He knew that for some people, it was hard to wrestle with the conscience on how to deal with it. It took him a little bit himself to get used to the fact he though men looked just as appealing as women. At first he just thought nothing of it, until those random thoughts turned into something a bit more detailed.
He could tell that Tyler was a little distracted after he mentioned his ex. That happened sometimes. He never really had a big steady relationship with anyone, so he didn’t have any crazy stalker ex’s after him. Which he thought was a pretty big relief. He just smiled as Tyler snapped out of it and apologized. “Don’t worry about it. Just gotta keep your chin up ya know?” He looked down at his hands for a few seconds. He had friends who had gone through bad break ups, and they were all convinced that the ex was the crazy one. But usually when it came time for those conversations, he tried to discreetly exit the room. He wasn’t a large fan of playing the middleman in those talks. He would do it if it was necessary, but at this point it wasn’t. He wanted to be peacefully on his own little ideas instead of arguing.
Reese came back to attention as Tyler started to talk about his horses. He wished he could have a love of something like that. It was incredible how much love he could hear in Tyler’s voice as he talked. It was one of those occurrences that was hard to find, let alone see. He smiled softly as he spoke about which one would be easier for him to ride. Since he had near to no experience, he didn’t really want to ride a crazy horse anyway. A calm and easy going one seemed the most logical. He chuckled as Tyler responded to his comment. “I guess we’ll have to see huh? I’ll be happy if I can actually stay in the seat.” He had no proper gear either, but oh well. That was to be expected. He leaned back against the bench, intently focused on the next thing the other boy spoke about. The worst thing that ever happened to him was when he fell down the stairs once.
He could feel himself nearly wincing as the younger boy described his accident. That sounded like pure hell. His fall down the stairs paled in comparison. “Jeez… and you still wanted to get back on a horse?” His level of respect for Tyler rocketed with that information. If he had an accident like that, he didn’t know if he would have the drive to get back up. At least when he went surfing, he only hit the water if he fell. But concrete? That was a bit too much. He smiled as Tyler switched the conversation from his accident to school. At least this was a subject he could relate to. But then again, he traveled a bit further than Tyler had. The other boy had to drive about six hours or so to get to the school. He had to fly all the way across country. It had been a total and complete change of scenery for him.
Reese needed to head back home at some point, if for nothing else but to visit. Having graduated from Jackson the year before, he felt it was just easier to go to college out here as well. He nodded as Tyler talked about his plans for after school. “Competing? That’s pretty cool. I’d love to come watch. It sounds really interesting.” He chuckled as Tyler decided that he’s talked long enough. “Well… not sure where to start. I go to the local college.. working towards a career in either photography or modeling.” He hoped he could make it in either of those businesses. He knew it was pretty competitive, but he really couldn’t see himself doing anything else. And he didn’t want to work in Spencer’s forever. It was a good job while he was in school, but once that was done, he needed to work his ass off to get a legit job.
