Her hair is long, blonde, and falls just below her breasts. She usually wear it loosely draped over her shoulders in either a straight or slightly wavy style, though she does sometimes pin it back either in a ponytail or some other kind of hairstyle to keep it out of her face on hotter days. She usually wears her bangs swept to the right side of her oval-shaped face. No matter what she does with her hair, however, it always smells faintly of flowers, which is how most people know that she's entered a room. She's also very petite, and has minimal curves and a strong posture. She's also very slender thanks to all those visits to the gym, and people tend to underestimate her strength because of her small build.
personality: Leah is a forceful and independent young lady, who is both energetic and lively. Anyone who has known her for a long period of time can see that she is very spirited. From an early age, she proved that just because fate may deal her a crappy hand, did not mean that she was going to cry her heart out and hold back when it came to overcoming the obstacles life put in her path. Under the guidance of her parents and their relentless over-protection, encouragement, and advice, she has grown into a fiercely loyal, passionate, and unrelenting young woman.
Leah’s life is guided solely on her gut instinct, beliefs, and love of her family and friends. She is willing and enthusiastic to jump in at a moment's notice, or to drop whatever she is doing to ensure that someone she loves has a shoulder to cry on or has someone to talk too. While her first instincts often come off as powerful, rash, and maybe a bit too strong, she has the ability to reign in her anger and frustration and focus on the needs of another when the need arises. When the people in her life have a problem, she always listens whole heartedly, then proceeds to give out rather impressive and knowledge advice for someone her age. She is caring and compassionate by nature, just as she is a strong force in all other areas of life.
Many people find Leah a bit abrasive and cold, and truthfully she can be. She has no patience or desire to list off the details of her life, or to put up with people or situations that she has already decided she dislikes. Standing on neutral ground is a hard concept for her to grasp, along with any sort of idea that is ultimately different from her own. In her mind, her side is the only side and she will rarely bother to listen to those who feel differently; her will to stand up to anyone and everyone, whether friend or enemy, also comes from this. Once she is angered it takes her a rather long time to either apologize or speak to the person in question in order to resolve the issues she has with him/her. She is one of those people who takes everything to heart, and finds it hard to trust people again once they have hurt her or broken her trust. She grew up in a town whose principal values were money and physical beauty, and she loved every minute of it. That also shaped her into a bit of a narcissist who speaks her mind, always gets what she wants, and never has any regrets.
Over the years, Leah has also become much more motivated and determined for success. She strives to prove to that she is perfectly capable of doing anything that she sets her mind too, and has become very confident and sure of herself. She finds it hard to trust people, and there are very few people she actually likes. She is, however, friendly to those she does like, and rude to those she doesn’t. She is stubborn and independent, and prefers to do things on her own. She doesn’t care what others think about her. She lives her life with the firm belief that anything that has happened to her in the past has just made her a stronger person.

strengths: One of Leah’s biggest strengths is her loyalty. Her friends and family mean the world to her, and she would never intentionally do something to hurt them. She will also do anything and everything she can to protect them and keep them from harm. She is also extremely loyal to her pack, even though she can’t stand being part of it most of the time. Her loyalty also shows through when it comes to her beliefs and values, and staying true to herself. Her philosophy is that if someone cannot accept her for who she is, then that person was not meant to be in her life anyway. She refuses to change herself to please others, and if they don't like it then it’s just too bad. Living through the experiences that she has had helped her learn how to sort out the people who belong in her life, and the people who don’t.
Patience is another virtue that Leah holds, staying faithful to those she loves. She never allows herself to become frustrated or stressed out, and will never lose her temper over something minor. Determination and motivation also contribute to that patience, as displayed by Leah’s refusal to give up on anything that she truly wants, even after many failures.
Leah is also very strong-willed. Being able to put up with the pain and heart ache that she’s experienced for the last few years of her life has made her a much stronger person inside. She has the ability to move on with her life even after living through traumatic and damaging experiences and can stay strong in front of others, something that takes a lot of inner emotional strength and is not easy for most people. It is this trait that people admire most about her.
weaknesses: Despite her many strengths, Leah’s biggest weakness is her heart. Though she does not wear it on her sleeve, exposed to the outside world, it does cause her a lot of pain. She allows herself to fall fast and hard, and it usually ends up leaving her broken hearted in the end. That also comes from how trusting she is of people. It makes her a very vulnerable individual, and though she has gotten better at controlling these two traits, they are still a problem sometimes.
Despite her kind nature, Leah can also express a slight temper when she is in a situation that she either does not like. In those kinds of situations, she tends to lash out and snap at anyone that is unfortunate enough to cross her path. She also has a tendency to be brutally honest when dealing with people she likes and dislikes. If she dislikes someone or something, she won’t hesitate to express her dislike, and that can sometimes get her into trouble because she does not think about the feelings that may be on the line. It is for this reason that Leah sometimes comes off as such a bitter and cynical young woman. This also brings an inability to listen to both sides of an argument into the picture.
Because of the things that have happened in Leah's life, she has also become a very closed off person and does not allow herself to get close to anyone for fear that she will lose them. This trait often becomes a great source of trouble for Leah herself, and for the people that matter most in her life. Likewise, she is unable to find it within herself to forgive someone easily once she feels that she has been personally hurt. Her strengths are often hindered by her lingering resentment towards people who have hurt her, or people that she cares about, and the desire to get even sometimes overwhelm her otherwise rational thoughts.

That morning, Leah had woken up the usually blue skies of Maui and the sun streaming through her dorm room window. The weekend had come, which meant that she was free to do whatever she wanted to do until Sunday night, when she would finish the small amount of homework that she hadn’t done on Friday before going out with a few of her friends. She wasn’t one of those girls who liked to spend her weekend partying since she had kicked the habit when Heath died, but she did enjoy the occasional one and that was where she had gone with her friends on Friday night. She had kept those few friends since her first year at Nouveau, and they had been the people who gave her somewhere to go besides the school since she’d arrived and knew nobody. It was nice for her to go somewhere where people didn’t know about what had happened to her, and she welcomed the fact that she could walk down the halls of school and not have everyone staring at her in sympathy and pity. The looks were appreciated, but after time they had grown old. Maybe that was why she had basically cut herself off from everything in her life, and had put herself into a permanent state of depression and lack of interest in anything that she’d enjoyed before. And maybe that was why her parents had sent her away, hoping that by sending her to a school that encouraged the arts, she would get back into her dancing and find something to live for again.
Either way, she hadn’t been too thrilled upon first arriving at Nouveau, but now that she had been there for a year and was going back for a second year at the school, she had basically gotten over her aversion to the place. Maui was beautiful, and the school had become the perfect place for her to get a brand new start. But sometimes, the school work and the expectations that it placed on the students was over-whelming, and even though Leah was a good student and could handle it, a break from it was always nice. Those were the times when she took the opportunity to explore Maui, and see all of its beauty with her own two eyes. She had been to other parts of Hawaii with her family on vacations, but she had never seen Maui, which was by far her favourite. She had been excited to learn that her new school was located there, and now that she’d been there a year she always missed it when she was back home in L.A.
Today was one of those days where Leah just felt the need to get away, so she had gathered up her things and headed into town. Her father had bought her a new car for her seventeenth birthday, and she loved driving around the streets of Maui with it and took every opportunity to do so. Gas was expensive thanks to the fact that it was a silver convertible, but she had money so it was never a huge issue. Her money wasn’t something that she liked to shove in people’s faces, but she had loved the car so much that she couldn’t bear to ask her father to bring it back to the dealer. So, as she exited her dorm room, headed to the parking garage and lowered herself into the black leather seat, Leah thought about where she was going to go and headed out. Her destination was the shopping district where she hoped to get a birthday present to send to her older brother, but on her way she saw a Starbucks and pulled into the parking lot. Once inside and at the counter, she ordered a Strawberries and Cream Frappucino, then sat down at one of the small patio tables outside, sipping at her drink and thinking about what she could possibly get for her brother.
