Zac pouted when he lost the game yet again. He had been stuck on the same level for an hour and he couldn't get past it. He was usually the king of video games, well he thought so anyway, he always beat anyone he played, but right now he wasn't feeling very much like he was anymore since he couldn't beat the level. "Stupid freaking game" he muttered and started the level over, hoping this time he could finally beat it.

This is how he usually spent his days off, in front of the TV playing games, well when Kate wasn't home anyway and he didn't know she was home now. He had been into the game and hadn't heard the door open or her moving around or anything. He wasn't even sure what time it was or how long he'd been sitting there in the floor in front of the television, all he knew was that he was getting hungry now, his stomach rumbling confirmed that.

It wasn't long after that he could smell dinner cooking and he knew then that Kate was home. He turned off the game, finally giving up for now. Pushing himself up from the floor, he left the room and headed down the hall, almost bumping into Kate when he turned the corner. "Oops, sorry babe" he laughed and kissed her cheek. "When did you get home?"
