Blake was her best friend and he was about to pierce her bellybutton for her. Her parents wouldn't let her pierce her nose so she figured she'd do something she could hide. Plus it would impress Keagan, the guy she was after.
She yelped as he pushed the needle through, but once she saw how perfect the little purple stud looked she didn't mind the pain. "It looks great," he assured her. "I'm sure Keith will like it."
"Keagan, you know that's his name."
"Whatever his name is, he's a jerk. Totally not your type."
"How would you know what my type is?" She retorted, although she knew the answer. Blake had been there through every relationship she'd ever had. From the kindergarten kiss to the first French kiss.
