personality: Vesper is extremely confident in nature, so much that it borders on arrogance. She's highly intelligant as far as the human nature goes and has the tendency to manipulate others with this knowledge. She's extremely quick tempered and would rather fight you, fist to fist, about something then make snide remarks back and forth. Those who know her, and know her well, would remark about how funny she is. She's always making jokes, some others who didnt know her would find offensive, and she has a quick retort for everything. Vesper is the queen of shallow relationships and, as long as it doesnt go below the surface, can be the queen of calm, cool, and collected. She could copyright the phrase. She oozes sexuality but, the second love comes into a discussion, nearly chokes on the tongue she likely had shoved down somebody's throat.

dislikes: Being wrong/being embarrassed/people who talk down to her/adults/being told she can't do something/sloppy people.

Aceline glanced around the room as new people arrived, her eyes glazed over in the way that you see something but just weren’t really seeing it. These were all people her mother had invited, thinking they were Aceline’s friends. Aceline noted Severus in the corner, not a surprise for him, and gave him a short nod of acknowledgement. They were far from friends but Aceline had to respect him, to a degree, because underneath his appearance he was actually highly intelligent. If there was one thing Aceline Perezz loved more than money it was learned men. She was not even surprised when Alecto Carrow arrived, issuing nothing more than an “’Evening, Perezz,” to her and heading to stand beside him. Aceline recalled, dimly, a once upon a time where they had once gotten along fairly well. Even to the extent that Aceline may have called her a friend. That was back with Amelie, though, and Massie. Alecto was a completely different person then. Aceline was also, in a sense. Back then, Aceline still lived in her parent’s shadows, someday she still felt herself slipping into the darkness, she’d admit. She hadn’t really learned how to be herself until her sixth year and, even now, she still hasn’t fully decided who she wanted to be. All she knew was she wanted Noah Orchard, and that’s where things kind of went wrong, or got better, depending on how you looked at it. Noah allowed Aceline to laugh, to love, to show warmth and goodness and all the amazing sides of human nature she was deprived of by her mother, the true ice queen. Aceline loved these things. She loved receiving them even more and many of her ‘friends’ wrote her off as weak. In a particularly nasty spat with Ian, Tinsley’s ex boyfriend, he even deemed her a blood traitor, which might have been the most shocking out of all the accusations, perhaps, actually, somewhat, maybe accurate, also. Aceline’s demeanor was always so cold, so distant and detached. The only time any reaction was portrayed was when she was putting other’s down, and that was mild fascination at best. Noah introduced her to the many feelings of life, something that perhaps had less to do with him and more to do with her love for him, and while other’s things fell apart, new things fell together. Alecto fell apart and, staring at Noah and thinking about her parents in the next room, Aceline couldn’t decide if it was worth it or not. "Then again, I'm sure you could pull it off by saying 'This party is like, so below me' and ten minutes later everyone would do the same." Aceline smiled, biting her lip slightly, as she refocused on Noah, currently imitating her in a high pitched, valley girl, voice. Unable to control the smile any longer, she laughed. ”I sooo don’t sound like that!” Aceline shoved him playfully on the shoulder, her nails trailing his chest slightly as her hand dropped away. "You're Aceline Perezz right? You can do what you want." Aceline rolled her eyes at his statement, though that was probably the image she had projected over the months she had known him. That she was rich, arrogant, and beautiful and that nothing else mattered besides what she thought of herself. She could have drowned in the vanity.
Choosing to ignore his comment, Aceline turned back towards Rita, taking comfort in the fact that there was at least someone here who was on the same page as she was. Sure, Rita could be bitchy but Aceline could as well. Aceline and Rita were so much of the same that, at times, Aceline think they frightened each other. In any case, neither let their guard down enough to find out, resulting in many shallow conversations that filled up space but never amounted to all that much. Standing beside Rita, her head held high, Aceline attempted to refrain from commenting on Isadora’s behavior. This was far from the time or the place but, unlike Rita, Aceline was never good at witty, verbal sparring. Her temper was much too sharp to be concerned with being clever. Aceline realized she should turn the other cheek and ignore the heinous girl standing before her. I mean, honestly, who was Isadora? Aceline hadn’t even known her name before today. She was some non existent Ravenclaw with an unnecessarily snarky disposition. Isadora was absolutely ungrateful, Aceline had welcomed her into her household, and allowed her to participate in her friends conversations, despite the fact that the girl had been nothing but rude since entering the room. Aceline had kept her discontentment to herself; even bit her tongue in reference to the outfit the girl thought was appropriate. Isadora had absolutely no manners and no sense of proper etiquette; she was behaving like a giggly drunk. She entered the room arrogantly when she should have been behaving at her humblest. Aceline took all of these characteristics as a personal insult to her and, as Isadora remained speaking, Aceline turned her pouty pink lips into an equally perfect sneer. "Frankly, I don't find myself missing out on much at all. And I go to Hogwarts. I'm not surprised you don't recognise me, your nose is so high up in the air you wouldn't see me if I danced naked in front of you. It's absolutely wonderful to meet you, however. And I'm fully dressed and everything." Aceline blatantly looked Isadora up and down now, her sneer turning into a smirk as though Aceline were mocking Isadora’s complete existence. "My, my, aren't we petty? I'm not his date, and it's Isadora, actually. But you already knew that, didn't you, Aceline? Also, can we stop with the fake niceties? If one more person fakes a compliment, I'm going to hurl. Just saying." Aceline laughed, disentangling herself from Rita to step closer to Isadora. She raised her voice, making sure to draw the attention of every person in the room. ”Arent you so very clever, for somebody who might as well by non existent, you have so much to say. ” Aceline giggled. ”Guess mommy didn’t teach her brat any manners.” Aceline leaned forward, as if telling Isadora a wonderful secret, though her voice was still loud enough to be heard by all the recipients if they were trying to hear. ”I don’t care what your name is and, as long as your in my household, I’ll call you whatever the hell I please. Your place is to smile really big, okay? And if that proves to be a tad bit too difficult for you, I’ll personally deliver you back under the rock you dredged yourself up from, princess.” Aceline was close enough that she could smell Isadora’s shampoo and her words spilled from her lips like honey. Sickly sweet. Aceline stepped back towards Rita, giving Isadora a smile, maliciousness flickering in her eyes. Aceline held her gaze before turning against her, a gaze that held a dare and a promise in it, all wrapped up in one. Rita was by no means stupid, and could smell a story from a mile away. Aceline’s composure was slipping as she studied Justin and Noah with her eyes, her ears only half tuned in to whatever Rita was saying. Aceline doubted Rita even knew what she was saying, their mind was on the same page. Knowledge. Now, why they wanted it, was completely different.
"She is my girlfriend, sex tends to happen," Aceline’s body tensed at the thought of this and the anger she previously felt shot through her sharply. She hoped Noah was just saying this, in an attempt to respond casually to Justin’s constant comments. She glared at him, her thoughts interrupted by Andromeda, someone Aceline did not particularly hate but someone who was also not the first to jump to mind when she thought of friends, or aquatints, or Hogwarts causalities but….whatever. The evening couldn’t possibly get any worse and Aceline debating calling the waiter back. "Welcome back! It's great to see you - and you too, Rita" Aceline’s alcohol debate was interrupted by Andromeda, who was complimenting her on her presence and her party. Aceline couldn’t help it, she offered her a genuine smile despite the fact that she had chosen to stand beside Isadora. ”I’m pleased you could attend. Lovely dress.” The dress honestly was beautiful and fit Andromeda perfectly. Aceline could have stood here all night and made small talk with Andromeda, she was raised to do so, but she felt Rita nudging her and Aceline turned her head to see what she wanted. ” I mean, pish posh, someone as attractive as you, you'd have to realize. C'mon, back me up here," Aceline looked to see who Rita was referring to and saw her engaged in a conversation with Justin. Aceline smiled at Rita in spite of herself. There certainly was a lot of smiling going around tonight and Aceline had to struggle to compose her face. Rita Skeeter, always the flirt. ”Yes, love.” Aceline replied, giving Rita a nod of agreement, not nearly as flirty with her eyes flicking to Noah every few seconds. Aceline forced her eyes to remain on Justin’s face, even though every fiber of her being screamed to turned six inches to the left. ”Don’t tell me you aren’t aware of how highly gorgeous you are?” Aceline said softly, her voice coming out a purr. Where Rita had flirtatious eyes and ego stroking comments, Aceline had a bedroom voice and imagination stroking body movements. She laughed, giving Rita a look out of the corner of her eyes. ’My, my, I think we’ve discovered a modest one.” Aceline looked at Justin, curiosity and disdain in her eyes contradicting the desire and interest on her lips. "I'd heard your name but never had the pleasure of personally meeting you. I'm honored to be invited, this is definitely a first for me. I hope my attire is up to par, I can never be quite sure. You however are obviously the bell of the ball." It took Aceline a second to realize that Justin was in fact referencing her. She tsked herself for not focusing on the task at hand, allowing her thoughts to be scattered. Destroy Noah. Right. Even as she thought it, the idea in itself seemed weak. Perhaps she was getting terribly soft. Aceline flushed despite herself at being called the ‘belle of the ball’, even though Aceline didn’t believe a word coming out of Justin’s mouth. She knew she was beautiful. Coming from him? It sounded like pleasant mockery, at best. She decided that perhaps she was being too harsh on him. It’s not like Justin had done anything wrong. Yet. Besides make Noah squirm, but Aceline couldn’t be mad over that. She had invited him here for that very reason. ”Up to par?” Aceline looked at Rita as if they were sharing a secret. ”Darling, you look simply marvelous. If I were aware you looked quite as attractive as you do…well…this evening would have started outexceptionally different. “ Aceline let out a childish giggle, as if she was embarrassed for saying such provocative things. Even though what she said was hardly a sin, more of a feat of the listener’s imagination, in her society-Aceline might have well pulled her dress off and invited him to the back room. Part of her still wasn’t sure where she was going with this. She had intended to flirt with Justin, win him over effortlessly, and then dangle him around in front of Noah. Now she struggled between wanting Justin to leave with his pixie friend so her and Noah could be left alone with the hopes of reconciliation, and wanting them to leave so that she could yell at Noah without an audience. Regardless of how upset she was with Noah, Aceline still felt the need to defend him. If anybody was going to disrespect him, yell at him, put him down, humiliate him, or pose any form of negativity on his being, it would be Aceline. Period. As Justin continued to bask in the attention he was receiving, Aceline continued to tune into Rita’s gossip. Apparently, Rita had boys for the summer. Aceline knew the right response to this and, letting out a little squeal, she gushed that she just had to know. ”Ooooh.” Aceline sighed. ”Were they gorgey? No, of course they were. I mean, your Rita and I’m Aceline and we don’t do ugly.” Aceline spoke as if they were the best of friends. Sure. Aceline, Danni, and Rita had shared some moments but they were nowhere near biffies. Aceline’s interest and casually dubbed ‘we’ made it sound like they were attached at the hip, thick and thin. Whatever. Rita knew the truth, everybody else could assume what they want.
They always do.
