personality: Gretta is the type of girl who always tells the truth and says just about anything on her mind. She's opinionated and doesn't care who hates her mouthy attitude-one she carries all of the time. Though she tries to be nice about what she says, sometimes Gretta can be rude or overly sarcastic. She's open to new possibilites on most days and you rarely ever catch her lying. Gretta loves to hang out with other people but they don't always want to be around her. The main thing is that Gretta usually means well and wants to keep things real straight forward.
likes: parties, drinking, gardening, boys, skating, talking, smoothies, playing the violin, scary movies, writing poetry, bowling
dislikes: liars, ghosts, mush-gushy cheesy romance films and novels, sushi, snow, math, crybabies, fake people
strengths: Gretta is strong at being honest about everything, which can be good or bad. She is great at argueing, and is an excellant gardener.
weaknesses: Physically fighting, trying to lie, keeping things clean and tidy, playing sports

Her head was pounding.
One of Zabrinas not so very uncommon headaches. They had been getting worse lately, more migraines than anything now. She sighed and dropped her pencil, letting it fall to the grass covered ground. How could she concentrate with all of the pain?
Maybe it was the weather; Zabrina blinked and looked up at the sky. Clouds blocked out the sun, threatening to rain. She could already see lightening in the distance. Ola, her adoptive mother, told her once that rain can cause headaches. Zabrina never understood that, but sitting there under the stormy sky, she didn’t doubt Ola was right.
Then again, could it be stress?
Zabrina shook her head, and fumbled for the small bottle of aspirins in her jacket pocket. It was the only thing that could relieve her from the throbbing. After popping two pills in her mouth then swallowing them down with lemonade, Zabrina leaned her head back against a tree.
Her cell phone rang, making her flinch.
She dug in her jacket pocket for the phone, with her eyes closed, and on the third ring she pressed it to her ear.
“Yeah?”
Zabrina didn’t bother to check caller ID. The voice on the other end told her it was Mason.
“You sound like you’re in a good mood. What’s up?” He said sarcastically. She could hear another noise in the background.
Zabrina didn’t answer him for a second. “The sky. I figure you know that already.” A smile played across her lips.
Mason gave a short laugh, but he became serious. “Is anything wrong?”
She opened her eyes at the question. Oh if Mason only knew…if only. She wanted to tell him. Honestly she did. But something stopped her, like there was a rock in her throat. She couldn’t talk to him about it, or anyone. Zabrina knew that talking with someone about what was bothering her would probably help, except she had to lie. She didn’t want to lie, but it was her only choice. There was no way she could force the truth out of her mouth. “I’m fine Mason, really I am. I’m busy at the moment, though. I’ll call you back later.”
Zabrina shut her phone closed, not waiting for an answer.
