personality: Her confidence doesn't show that well with the way she carries herself. Numerous amounts of dance training over the years still haven't changed the fact that she's a clumsy girl; and with her silly and easy-going disposition, she seems to be very endearing and approachable to some. That's only on her good days, though. Being born under the Taurus sign, tempers flaring and mood swinging are pretty frequent. Also, she can be highly critical and possessive of her things, which makes her pretty envious. She likes being independent, and wouldn't mind solitude (unless it goes on for long). Leia's hard-headed, something that she got from her dad, and is actually a spoiled. (You can just tell she belongs here.) It's either her way or the highway. Back to her good side, she's the type of girl that you could count on for anything. She's reliable (except for arriving on time -- time management is never her thing) but she's never the one to ask help for herself. In a nutshell: Leia's a proud independent girl, who can get pretty impulsive and harsh when she's feeling strong emotions.
likes: Rainy days, being back home, traveling, film making, photography, classic rock music, playing the piano (hey, it was the hottest instrument before guitars happened, right?!), coconut disguised as chocolate, peanut butter, pampering herself and others, too.
dislikes: Hot summer days, being
strengths: Leia could boast that she's a mean cook. (No, that's not a codename for knowing how to heat water and pouring it into instant ramen.) She's better with arts really -- drawing, photography, etc. She's a good listener, too, despite knowing what 'moving' helpful things to say to others. Leia's got what you can call a retentive memory, which really makes academics more of her thing (or it should -- she gets lazy) but she rather looks on the details instead of the bigger picture; and most of the time, irrelevant trivia is what's stored in her head.
weaknesses: She's pretty temperamental, and hard-headed. Leia's a proud girl, it's always her way or the highway. She's also got this habit of speaking before thinking, it often makes her look like she's a bitch. She doesn't like dealing with emotions, they're pretty tiring, so you can pretty much say that she's not serious much about anything. [/ul]

It was really surprising, really magnificent that someone with Brynn's size could have so much energy. It's like her body was 75% sugar, not water. Gracie figured that she should be used to this by now. The two met last year when the older girl became the girl's 'buddy' through the school's freshman orientation system. It wasn't even as if the school assigned them together.
Grace arrived at Oakdale a few days earlier than usual, and since she had nothing to do, she checked out the school and its new meat. Poor unfortunate souls, that song said, popped in her mind when she saw their faces. One stood out the most, though. This particular freshman not only have this enthusiastic look on her face, but she was awed by everything she passed by. Gracie wasn't even sure if the petite girl was listening to their tour guide.
A little while later, while Gracie roamed the halls to orient herself around. (Okay, she was checking to see how long she'd take to get from here to there between classes. She's such a nerd that way. Seriously though, time is of the essence when it comes to getting the proper seats from those teachers who spit than speak.) Out of nowhere, she found the very same girl wandering the halls. Now, instead of looking entranced, she was obviously and painfully lost. The younger girl didn't even say anything, Gracie just showed her the way back to her freshman pack.
Came the day when the school starts the 'buddy system' for the freshmen and upperclassmen, the girl just impulsively pointed to her, leaving Gracie with no choice but to accompany the girl through-out freshman year. No matter how bubbly the girl could get, Gracie still couldn't get over it. Brynn still startles her from time to time. 'I guess she's what I can call my younger sister?' That thought passed through her mind from time to time. Brynn was annoying her, nagging her, teasing her for being so socially inept even, but Gracie just... couldn't really keep her away. She'll never admit that, though.
"What now, Brynn?" Gracie asked with an exasperated sigh, getting over the momentary shock, facing her locker again to place her things back. When she glanced to the younger girl, she knew she was just begging for her to ask it. 'Rule one about socializing: always ask someone about their day.' Grace remembered someone telling her that, she just couldn't pinpoint who. Oh yeah, that would probably be Ms. Brynn Michels herself! She and Paris have been trying to get the sixteen year-old girl out of her little shell ever since they met her.
"How was your summer?" She greeted her friend. 'No use trying to avoid her now.'
