Carter strolled into the cafeteria holding onto a tray as he stopped and stood at the back of the line waiting to eat. He had hated the cafeteria food, but since he didn't have a car or license yet it's not like he could just run off campus for something, and plus he was too lazy to cook something up in his own room. Plus when he did manage to make something it was usually accompanied by the glorious smell of something burning. A smell that would usually hang out for as long as possible, and none of his roommates deserved to have to smell that for however long. The thought alone made him almost gag, and when a younger student looked back at him he just smirked, "when was the last time you took a shower freshman?" He had called it right as the kid stared at him, smelled his shirt, and then left the line clearing a spot infront of Carter up. "Damn, did he not get the joke?" He shrugged not really caring as he took a step forward.
The rest of the time in line seemed to go quickly, he found someone that he could chat with, and before he knew it he had gotten his food and was looking for a table. This had been the worst part about the day, usually him and Tim never had the same lunch, so that meant Carter had to actually find and humor someone else. It wasn't impossible but sometimes it took a lot of energy, and sometimes Carter was just plain lazy. He looked at the meatloaf and potatos on his plate and just sigh before glancing around. That is when he saw it, the jewel of the entire cafeteria, an empty table that was practically screaming his name, and without hesitation he rushed over dodging around seats and people until he slid his tray on the table and plopped in a seat. "AH-HAH!" He laughed loud enough for those walking by him to look over, and he just made a face motioning to the table as they kept passing.
He picked up his fork as he took a big bite of the potatos, one of the things that the cafeteria ladies could not mess up, but he was still worried about the meatloaf as he poked it a little sitting there alone. He grabbed his bottled water and took a drink before placing it back on the table as he leaned back in his chair and put his feet up on the one opposite where he'd been sitting. He crossed his arms over his chest and closed his eyes drowning out the sides around him so he could relax for a few minutes before eating the meatloaf, that is unless if he just threw it away like he had been planning.

Since Becky was still getting a feel for things around the school she hadn’t yet been to the store to get food so she could actually eat in her dorm, so she was having to go to the cafeteria for meals which kind of sucked because they were gross. It was always tricky to tell what was in the ‘mystery meat’ so she stayed well away from it. Just looking at it made her want to be sick, it was so gross. The hamburgers and fries weren’t all that bad, though she knew it was unhealthy to have it every day so she decided that she was going to choose a sandwich, one that didn’t look so bad. She took her place in line and sighed. Why there was a always a queue for it she didn’t know, but it was probably because it was the cheap option. She was going to make Timmy go with her to the store at some point; she didn’t want to go on her own, just because she didn’t know the area well enough just yet, she felt that she needed some guidance, just because she wouldn’t know where the hell to go or anything, she would probably get lost.
As she stood in the line, she picked up a few random things that she wanted to try out, then went to the till to pay. At least the food was cheap, but it was no wonder, it was pretty unappealing but she had to deal with it. She giggled slightly as she saw one guy scurry out of the hall, wondering why he had gone so fast, but she didn’t mind since she had been waiting, it made the line go quicker, the lunch ladies were slow, and they didn’t have THAT much to do in her opinion, so why couldn’t they hurry things along? Though it wasn’t as if she was busy or anything. Since Becky had moved to Jacksonville she’d not really had much to do, she was trying to make friends but didn’t really know where to start, plus she wanted to see Carter and she hadn’t yet, which made her kind of sad. Carter had been like another brother to her when growing up, apart from the little girl crush she’d had on him when she was a lot younger, that had just been a phase though, now she knew to stay clear of him, especially when her brother was with him. She did want to know more about Emeri though.
As she went to find her seat she spotted someone she knew too well. It was funny that she had just been thinking about him and he had been right here all along. She giggled slightly as she walked over to him, hoping that she would make him jump, she went behind him and put her hands over his eyes. Guess whoooo? he said trying to disguise her voice. Of course with Carter that was probably no good, he had grown up with her and would know her voice. She admitted defeat and revealed herself. Hayy she grinned. OH MY GOD! I totally was thinking about you and how I hadn’t seen you yet and I was all sad, and here you are! YAY! she said kind of bouncing around a little. Do I not get a hug? she asked him with a little pout. That meatloaf looks soooo appealing she giggled. Oh now she was all hyper she couldn’t stop grinning. It wasn’t normal for Becky NOT smiling, but she had such a wide grin on her face. She had now seen both Tim and Carter so she was content. Becky sat down where she had placed her tray and tucked some hair behind her ear. This is so coool. I have seen both you and Timmy now! YAY! I still need to meet your roomies though, apparently one of them is kinda weird, but the blonde guy....Em, right? he seems really cool, I haven't met him yet though. she took a breather out and smiled at him. Sorry I am talking A LOT!

Carter, who had been told from an early age that it was never alright to play with his food, sat at the table doing just that as he jabbed his fork around into the meat, if that was even what you could call it. He wished that he could just push the tray away and be done with eating, but growing up with Tim gave you quite an appetite, so instead he went and picked up a small portion on his fork and smelled it. It didn't even smell like meat so what in the world was this shit? Damn, could it have seriously been shit? He glanced around at some other students piling the brown meat into their mouths and made a disguisted face, in his opinion the entire cafeteria had just sat down to enjoy a special meal of shit and potatoes. This is just disguisting, he thought to himself shaking the meat off of his fork and placing it down beside him.
He was startled some when he could feel hands covering his eyes, but from the sound of things he'd known exactly who it had been as he couldn't help but grin and perk up in his chair some. "I don't know, could it be the easter bunny? Easter is right around the corner you know," alright so it was at least a month or two away but that did not matter as it'd still been a funny guess, well to him anyway. "You were thinking about me?" That took him offguard for a moment but he soon focused again and continued to grin as she rambled, something she'd been known to do for as long as he could remember, and when she finished he cocked an eyebrow wondering if she truly had been done talking, or if she'd just ran out of breathe and was taking a break. He heard the word hug though and instantly knew what to do as he reached around her and pulled her into a monster hug, "You know I can never pass up a hug from a Wright, it's impossible." He smirked, her brother gave the best hugs though, but that was not to be shared right now. He wasn't even sure if she had heard about the two of them dating yet, so he was going to keep his mouth shut for as long as possible.
"The food's better usually," he at least had to give them some credit back there for making something edible from time to time, but he was more than likely just a picky eater who liked to complain, or at least that is what he'd imagine Tim saying while shoving his face full of whatever food lay infront of him. When she brought up his roommates he just nodded and shrugged leaning back in his seat as he crossed his arms infront of his chest, "Both those guys could be weird," he joked about both Chris and Emeri, "just different kinds of weird, like annoying and funny, or something like that," he really did not want to get into the whole thing with Chris. She was way too happy and he did not need to ruin that for her, "Em's awesome, I swear that man has energy to go an entire month without sleeping," he could tell that she was very excited and that made him happy, "you know it's not like you haven't seen me in forever, what are you so bouncy for?" He had teased her with that comment mostly because he knew that was exactly the kind of person she'd been, bouncy and excited, and this was nothing new. He thought it was just too cute though, "you should teach your brother to have that much enthusiasm when I enter a room."

Easter bunny? she questioned Well at least bunnies are cute she shrugged with a laugh. Easter isn’t that near you know she pointed out. Its only just been Christmas she laughed. Whatever though... she said, that was going off the subject, she wasn’t meant to be doing that was she? Dammit! She found it kinda funny that he had guessed the Easter Bunny, it was rather random, but that was what she liked about him, he was really fun. When they were all younger usually when Tim was being serious, Carter would have been near so she would have looked to him so she could mess around. You do come up with some funny answers, they amuse me. With you around I know that life can never get dull she laughed Have you missed me? she asked him. She didn’t know if he knew that she knew about his relationship with Tim, so she wasn’t going to mention it unless he brought it up, she thought that was best, if he wanted to talk about it then he would bring it up, plus even though they had known each other for a very long time, she thought he might find it a little awkward.
She nodded at him when he questioned that she was thinking about him. Well yeah... she replied Don’t think anything of it though she smirked at him. Only because I wanted to know how you were doing she said with a nod. It had never been anything more with the two of them, and how could there have been when she knew that her brother had liked him? It would have been so wrong, plus he was like a brother to him herself, so that made it even more wrong. On so many levels, it would have been wrong and something she was going to stop thinking about now. She smiled when he said he couldn’t pass up a hug from a ‘Wright’Well of course it is, because well yeah, we are she nodded. Unless you are smelly Mel, you don’t want to go near her, you could catch a disease, or something like that she joked. Sorry she shrugged. Though she knew that he was used to it, but him and Mel had never really hung out, not like Becky had with him, but she had been with her brother when she had hung out with him anyway, they had never really hung out on their own, she would have found it a little weird without Tim with them.
Really? she smiled Well I guess that’s something, I must have come here on a bad day she laughed then looked back at the lunch ladies, she felt kind of bad saying that it was bad, but that was just the kind of person she was, Becky felt bad about a lot of things, as well as being a worrier, she just could not help it, she didn’t like being mean to anyone, to her, it was just completely unnecessary. She laughed slightly when he said that both Chris and Emeri could be weird, and waited for him to explain. oh okay...I am guessing Chris is the annoying one, Tim told me that Em was pretty awesome, so I doubt he would be annoying.Tim had told her that Emeri was ‘one of the most awesome people that he knew’ and Chris, well she wasn’t so sure but she couldn’t judge when she didn’t even know him, plus she hadn’t even met him, which would have been unfair. She had to give him a chance at least; if he annoyed her then she would probably still give him a chance. It did take a lot to annoy her though, so unless he really bugged her she couldn’t see them not getting along. Tim did say that he was awesome. He is suppose to introduce me to him, and Chris she told Carter. She then gave him a look and just laughed Are you really asking that question? she laughed I am always like this she said shaking her head slightly. Aww well okay then, I will she nodded. Should I get him to bow down at your feet as well? she joked.
