personality: No matter where you come from, you've met Sydney Wisten. She screams perfection. She knows she is glamorous. Syd likes to keep up appearances and keep her perfect smile on her face. She knows that she is perfect, and believes that she deserves to be treated like the queen she is. She doesn't like the word spolied, but pampered better suits her.
She is the perfect cookie cutter daughter at first glance, but oh boy does she have a wild side. Sydney is a rebel. She prefers to live life her way, and if anyone objects, she will find some way to change their views. For some reason, people are drawn to her. Her laughter, her aura, and determination make her the object of everyone's affection. She has everyone wrapped around her little finger, except for her new step-mother. But she could care less about her. Other people's opinions of her cannot and will not phase her. She will have glamour. She will be wild. She'll do exactly what she wants, and nobody will stand in her way.
Her manipulative powers have landed her the power seat at her school in California. People beg to sit with her and if she makes an appearance at your party, you're pretty damn special. She parties like there is no tomorrow. Yeah, she drinks. What teenager doesn't? Since she is petite, it only takes a few sips to get her tipsy. She likes a good time, and she'll stop a nothing to find one. She is determined to make the same name for herself at Jacksonville Prep, maybe even a better one.

father: christopher wisten
siblings: richard (richie) age-20
significant other (s): none
pets: dog named tiger
hometown: monterey, california
partial history: Born and raised in california. Pretty much says it all doesn't it? Living on the beach, beautiful days, and loving people all around. She had a normal childhood upbringing. Her mother showered her with love. Her and her brother were as close as siblings could ever get. Well, Sydney's parents were happily married. Or so she thought. When Syd was 12, her mother left them. Apparently, she was seeking love from the poolboy. Sydney resents her mother for this, leaving her just before she was about to enter her wild and crazy teen years. A mere 7 months later, her father met Jennifer, and WHAM!, she had a new "mommy". When her father was vulnerable from Ashleigh leaving, Sydney realized she could control people to get them to do whatever she wanted. Jennifer thought she could squash this out of her, but she was sadly mistaken. This new relationship caused Sydney to rebel and act out more, to seek affection in all the wrong places. She turned, just like her mother, to finding random guys to hook up with. Once they realized she was damaged goods, they would toss her aside and move onto the next one. She kept crawling back despite all of this. Syd realized the only guy in her life she could trust was Richie. Once her stepmother realized she wasn't going to be able to change her new daughter's attitude, she decided to ship her off to Jacksonville Prep. This was just another thing to add to the list of things Sydney hated about her. She wasn't in any hurry to get to know her new mother. Now, at Jacksonville Prep, she is looking for a new group of people to call her friends, new boys to flirt with, and new people to manipulate. [/ul]

The bright California sun was shining through the blinds of Sydney's bedroom. Slowly, she began to rub her eyes and flutter them open. She looked at the bright sun bouncing off of her light green bedroom walls. She pushed herself up further on her bed and glanced at the iHome next to her bed. 7:43. She let out a groan. This was much too early for her liking. Throwing back the comforter and slamming her feet onto the floor, she trudged off to the bathroom.
Sydney looked at herself in the mirror. Yikes she thought. Her hair was going in twleve different directions, her makeup was smudged from the previous night, causing her to resemble a baby raccoon. She twisted the tap and allowed the warm water to run onto her hands. She splashed water onto her face to wake herself up, squirted some face wash into her hands, and scrubbed. She scrubbed the previous night away, wishing to forget everything that had happened. She held her hand out and chose one of the fluffly white towels hanging from a hook and dabbed her face dry. Flipping on the lights on her vanity mirror, she sat down at the little chair. She then began her usual makeup routine. Pin hair back. Apply liquid foundation and concealer. Powder and bronzer. Eyeliner. Mascara. Gloss. She went through the motions that she had been doing every morning since she got her first makeup kit. She ran a brush through her honey blond hair and tousled it a bit until it reached her desired appearance.
After she finished her makeup, Sydney returned through her room and entered her walk in closet. She stood, hands on hips, gazing around at the clothes that lined the walls. She swapped her baby-tee and pink boxer shorts for something more fit to approach the day. She pulled a pair of white Hollister shorts on over her tanned legs. She then pulled a baby blue crop top over her head, which landed just above her bellybutton, showing off her flat stomach. She slid her feet into black flip-flops and was prepared to face the day. She snagged her iPhone from her dresser and exited her room.
Breakfast was already on the table when she entered the kitchen. Sydney grabbed an apple and sat herself at one of the barstools, away from the wicked Jennifer. Her step-mother, for some reason, irked Sydney. Maybe it was the way her clothes always had to be perfectly ironed and prestine. Maybe it was her attempt at looking 10 years younger than she really was. Whatever it was, Syd didn't like it. "Sydney," her stepmother began, "What do you think you're wearing? That shirt is totally inappropriate. " Sydney rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. She shook her head and hopped up from her seat. She began to walk away, her head held high. She looked hot, and she didn't give a damn what Jennifer thought of her clothes. If they bothered her, that meant that they were working.
