abby & dom Think we got them all sorted so whenever you wanna thread them out let me know and we can get this ball rolling. [/div] abby & shay Well Shay here is Mr. Nice Guy, he is the guy most woman would go to if they needed a shoulder to cry on and he’d help them through their problems. He’d help guys too but that has no relevance here. His actions might always put him in the friend zone, but he is fine with that; his wife was killed a while ago(months/year or two I haven’t really stuck to a specific time) and he’s at that faze in his life where’s trying to move on but is also unwilling to let go because he feels it’d be wrong to do that to her. Even though he has a three year old daughter who will need a mother in life just as much as she needs her dad, and seeing as Shay is a cop there’s even more him to worry about because he’s always afraid his actions might leave her without either of her parents.
For now he’s not as reckless as he was when his wife had first died; he’s no longer on the hunt for the punk who shot her like a mad man. He’s his normal calm collected self.
With Abby having been there a year she could’ve seen him around with his daughter, being a native to the city he grew up here and might never leave and he’s fine with that. But if she saw him around the time he was at that low point in his life she could’ve been the shrink they sent him too, or he could’ve went through a few and it was Abby who got through to him; which would be weird as Shay listens to everyone but hey maybe they didn’t know what to say and Abby did. Plus I’m sure it’d help if he couldn’t find a sitter and had to bring little Molly along and she just painted in the corner, but he probably didn’t do this often just a few times.
It might be weird to carry on a relationship with your patient, but just being friends with them can’t be that bad; seeing as he would’ve gotten better so he’d hope it was okay to spend time with her outside of the office. Abby’s the kind of person he’d want in his life, so he’d definitely try to pursue a friendship with her.
And being the good listener he is Shay could be one of those friends she can drink wine with, gossip, and share her deepest secrets with. Even though Shay is a guy, and a straight one, like I said he’s great at being there for girls when they just need someone to spill their guts too. Not to mention he wouldn’t go spilling her secrets or judging her for them, he’d only offer friendly advice if she asked for it.
[/div] abby & wes My good ol southern gentleman. Wesley would have no problem approaching her if he saw her somewhere, he’d just walk right up to her and say hello with his thick Texas accent and plot himself right down next to her to carry on their conversation.
He’s a bit of a flirt and doesn’t hold back, though if he found out she were married he would make sure it was only in fun and not taken the wrong way; the last thing he’d want is to be a home wrecker, unlike some of my boys who’d have no problem doing it.
I can see him being one of those friends who tries to help her come out of her shell, because he is definitely the guy who loves to live life on the edge. He might just seem like the mild mannered construction worker but that’s just cause he threw all his time into getting his construction company off the ground in Jacksonville, but when he gets more free time(which he plans to carve out) he’ll be back to living dangerously. Thrill seeking and doing a bunch of stupid shit that might very well kill him but he can’t help but love every second of it. So he might bring Abby along and hope she at least gets her toes wet in this big ocean of a life he’s in. Cause sky diving, swimming which sharks(to name a few) might not be her thing but I’m sure he could find something tamer for her to get involved in.
And Wesley might not seem like the most sophisticated person, and looking at him you might not think he knows the difference between Van Gogh or Degas, but he took an art course or two in college and can enjoy art. He prefers to stare at work that shows of architecture being as he is more into the art that goes into making a building than the one painted on canvas, but he can stare at a piece of work and talk about its surrealism on the world or what have you. But he doesn’t normally show that side of himself, because it’s not like he’s had a reason to. But hey Abby just might drag it out of him if she asks nicely. [/div] I got other guys too but I didn't see anything for them with your girl. They are younger, so I can see most of them flirting with her but beyond that nothing really exciting comes to mind.

Dominic&&Abby: Yep these two are all set. As far as getting started, I'm ready whenever you are!
Shay&&Abby: I hate how good you are at coming up with plots. It makes me incredibly jealous, and I wish I was as good as you are. Alright, so aside from that little rant, Abby would probably be thrilled if she could make a break through. That's all she really wants. She'd be happy to talk him through the tough times, and to give him someone who will listen.
As far as Molly goes, Abby would probably love her. She wants kids of her own, but some day in the future, after her lifestyle isn't such a mess. Heck, even if Shay has a hot date, Abby would babysit for him, and she'd probably spoil Molly senseless if she gets the chance.
Being friends with Shay might take her a little bit of time, because she does have to get over that patient/doctor hump, but once she does accept him as a friend, then their friendship could be epic! I imagine she'd like having a guy around who doesn't have any real interest in her. It'd be relaxing.
Wes&&Abby: Ahh what girl can resist the charms of a southern gentleman? I know I can't. The flirting I can see, but I feel like Abby has a streak of falling for the men that either lie to her, underestimate her, or just generally treat her badly. She likes the bad boys, despite the warnings from her mother.
Abby might actually try skydiving, she kayaks, but really that's about as adventurous as she's let herself get, but that's mostly because she doesn't have anyone to fuel her need to be a daredevil, so if she met Wes at say a sporting goods store or something, he could probably try and talk her in to what ever hobby she happens to be browsing at that particular moment.
Sophisticated or not, she needs an art buddy, and if he wants to fill that void, she'd love it! She knows a thing or two about architecture, thanks to her stint in Art History in college, and she did grow up in Boston, which has some of the countries oldest architecture, so she'd totally be able to talk to him about that!

abby & dom Well in that case we should get a thread going for them ASAP. If we’re going from the very beginning of the plot I guess we can just have them meet up anywhere, but if there are certain places Abby wouldn’t go around town then we can have them meet up anywhere. Since dom can find a reason to be anywhere even if he’s not supposed to be there, or if he would normally never be caught dead somewhere. Should meet up at Victoria Secrets so he can get all inappropriate real fast hehehe. [/div] abby & shay Why thank you I do try, it’s not as easy as I make it seem. Some charries I can’t think up great plots.
But back to the plot. I love it. Once they get past that doctor/patient relationship they’ll be great friends. I agree with everything so once again whenever you want to thread them up just let me know.
[/div] abby & wes Haha well then it’s all good that she wouldn’t fall Wes, he just likes having friends even if they are of the opposite sex. So it’d just be a good ol playful friendship. If he ever found out what kind of guy she went for he might question her on her choices; since he hates liars and would wonder why she’d choose to be with a guy who would underestimate her and would treat her badly. Is that how her husband treats her? Wes might have to have talk with him whenever he comes around if that is how he is; even if they’re not friends he’s for standing up for anyone and everyone if they need someone in their corner.
Haha this is why I said he’d find tamer things to bring her along with. Like bungee jumping, rock climbing, and other things like that. But yes he would walk up to her and encourage her to take the leap and just do it.
He won’t be the most enthusiastic person about it but he’ll talk with her about it, and if she wanted to show off her own art work he’d love to see it.

Dominic&&Abby: OHMIGOD, Victoria Secret would be perfect! Just a chill shopping day, and then BLAM! Some hot guy creeping in the lingerie store. I think Abby could deal with that.
Shay&&Abby: I totally will! We should try to get a the Abby/Dom thread going first but excited about that.
Wes&&Abby: I feel like her husband isn't all bad, as of right now, I'm just thinking that he thinks her art is a silly little habit, and pays more attention to work, which is why it's so easy for Abby to have affairs, but if he'd like to yell at him, it would be pretty entertaining aha.
She would totally notice that he wasn't enthusiastic, but she'd probably still be forcing him to look at stuff with her. If he's gonna get her to jump off a bridge with just a chord to save her life, she's gonna make him appreciate some art!
