CHARLOTTE ROYCE MACKENZIE
Charlie is my newest character and she is a junior at Jacksonville Prep. She has a pretty sad backstory I have a thing for torturing my characters that's made her into the person she is today. Her mother was killed in a car accident when she was only four years old, her father unknown, and since her grandparents wanted nothing to do with her she was sent to an orphanage in NYC. She was passed around from foster home to foster home, orphanage to group home, until they just stopped trying when she was ten. The girls at the home hated her and made her life miserable, so it was no surprise she was diagnosed with depression as she started to flourish into a teenager. It got worse from there when the pills messed with her system too much that she refused to take them, and off her medication she tried to commit suicide. The group home she was in couldn't handle her behavior and shipped her to Jackson High, but after two years there they too couldn't handle her anymore and threw her at Jacksonville Prep. This is her last chance before she's thrown out on the street so she can't mess it up. She needs some storylines to get started!
FRIENDS. She is a loner so I don't see her having too many of these, but that doesn't mean she can't have a few good friends. She had a group of friends at Jackson High that got her into trouble the last two years, so if you have a character that'd fit that criteria I wouldn't mind an older friendship. I said she's lost touch with her Jackson High group so they'd have to get re-acquainted. I want her to have some good influences and bad influences in her life so if they come in the shape of friends i'm alright with that.
LOVERS. This list is going to be so minimal because she's not sexual at all. She is bisexual and finds many men and women attractive, but she's so socially awkward that she'll never approach someone to flirt. If someone flirted with her or tried to pursue even a one night stand she'd be so awkward and weird that she'd end up being laughed at. She's a virgin so I think it'd be fun to find that person that can steal her virginity. She's nervous when touched because she's been pushed around her entire life so she'll shy away from people. I see a lot of awkward fun in this category if you want some!
ENEMIES. This is where most of my plots for her will be I think because she's such an odd character. Most people either dislike her because she's different or hate her because she did something to them. She has had a few downward spirals into depression and she does some crazy stuff when she's heading down that dark road, so i'm sure she could have done something to piss your character off before. She got in with the wrong crowd at Jackson High and made a lot of enemies in the past two years. There's just so many ideas for this category so it shouldn't be hard coming up with something.
OTHER. I love dramatic storylines so if you have an idea please let me know. I like happy relationships mixed in so it's not going to be all angst and bad news, but a mix of happy and crazy is great. I really like the idea of this character so I hope people take an interest in plotting her up. Thanks for reading all of this and I hope she's not too awkward for you!

Hehe Lucas and her use the same template just different colors. Okay so we talked about this a little in PM when you were making her so I thought i'd reply. Lucas is going to try to be her friend because that is just the kind of guy he is. He's going to be a little nervous because he's heard things about her from his friends at Jacksonville High, but he's not one to pass judgement so he'll want to make his own idea about her. He's going to find her attractive since she's just so cute and tiny, so he's going to flirt with her because he's cool like that. He's awkward himself when it comes to flirting so i'm hoping she'll be a little less nervous around him after he starts making a fool of himself. I think we said that he was going to see her wrist and feel the need to make sure that never happens again so he'd be all protective (but in a cute way). Um, what else did we talk about? Oh right, he's going to try to force her out of her shell and going to turn into a brother figure (and stop trying to mack on her when his feelings turn brotherly or else that'd be weird). Did I miss anything?

We never talked about these two but I thought I could throw her in. Addie is not going to like Charlie from the start just because of what she's heard, and when she finds out that Lucas and her are hanging out she's going to want to stop it. I could see her sneaky about it trying to ruin her brothers chances of gaining her trust, so that might cause Charlie to snap sometimes depending on what Addie does. That could be pretty fun to play out. I think that once Lucas and her turn a corner and become almost like family Addie will lay off of her. She'll understand that if her brother thinks that highly of her there must be someone worth it. They're not going to be best friends braiding each others hair or anything, but I can see her starting to open up to her and sort of draw her even further into the family.

I am just going to keep throwing family at you because Bree is both Addie and Lucas' cousin. She went to Jackson High last year so i'm sure she heard about some of the crazy shit that Charlotte had done, so maybe when she finds out she's attending school with her cousins she's quick to tell them to avoid her at all costs. She's not going to think too highly of someone who could do some of the shit that Charlie did during her years at Jackson High. I don't see the storyline going much further than that just because Bree isn't always around her cousins so she's not going to just run into Charlie I don't think, but maybe if they did Bree was one of the ones that Charlie had messed with before? She ran in the popular crowd and was an athlete so she'd be a perfect target. If you want to work something out along those lines i'm all for it.

I know these two are VERY different, but I also can't help that they have similarities such as they both need pills and have stopped taking them. Maddie would be a bad influence. If she knew Charlottes background she would dismiss her, that's why its probably a good idea that remains untold. I can imagine maddie being behind the bike sheds or somewhere smoking weed and maybe charlie is there too and she just offers, not to be friendly, but because she can...then we can work from there? There could be a friendship here possibly, definitely an interesting dynamic, maybe we just need to play it out and see how they role. They could just not get along at all, and obviously they aren't going to come right out and say they take pills but I think that should be their connection. Maybe the school puts them together on some project, or Maddie has to show her round or something lame like that, something so they are thrown together, I dunno I'm probably just rambling now, its late...I should stop

they seem to be getting along well enough in ICC, but the thing is that if she stirred some shit up for Bree, Kayla probably isn't all that fond of her since they are besties...I guess she would tolerate her to a point but she wouldn't be all best buddies with her. Depending on what she did to Bree, she might hate her or not like her much, but if she messed with Bree then she prolly messed with Kayla sometime too, and she would have fought back hard, though she'd be like 'dude you got issues' and be kinda rude about it cos she can be like that, she says things how it is, not like Maddie does because Maddie is just a bitch, Kayla is a little more tactful but not that much more...she isn't mean intentionally but she could come across as a bitch sometimes when standing up for her friends and herself. Its prolly likely this girl has messed with a lot of her friends.
I have ben and Daisy too but don't have much for them right now |

lucas and charlotte I think that sums it up perfectly. There might have been one or two other things we talked about but what you said is a great starting point. I think we should just throw these two into a thread together! What do you think? addison and charlotte I see a lot of drama coming from these two because the closer to Lucas Charlie gets the more she'll cling without even realizing it, so if Addison wants her out of the picture it's going to take more than her asking politely which I knew she'd never do. When the "family" bond comes into play I see Charlie actually trying to replace Addison as his sister that sounds really fucked up so that will put more of a strain on them. We should get Lucas and Charlie started before these two, but don't wait too long to make a thread! aubrey and charlotte We need to think of something really epic that could have went on between Bree and her during the past couple of years when Charlie was crazy! She sounds like the perfect target so Charlie would have fucked with her good. Let's brainstorm and figure out what she did first and go from there! I'll send you a PM with some ideas later. maddie and charlotte Charlie sneaks out for cigarettes all the time so Maddie and her meeting behind the sheds is a good idea. I'm not sure if she'd take a hit of the weed or not but it's a good start. I like how they both stopped taking their meds. Charlotte has a good handle on her life since then so I think her and Maddie are opposite here too which is a good thing. Charlie doesn't come right out and talk about having to be on meds before, but if she hears about Maddie's situation she'd lightly chat about it if there's nothing else on her mind. She's so awkward she'd bring it up thinking it'd be a good conversation piece. It'd probably be easiest to throw these two in a thread together and see where it goes. kayla and charlotte Heather and I are going to think of something awesome that Charlie did to Bree during high school, and if her and Kayla are best friends i'm sure Charlie would have saved a little something for Kayla too. It all depends on how popular she thought she was. Charlie's not going to mind if she fights back and probably got nasty since her first response to fighting in the orphanage was to do whatever it took to win, so depending on how Kayla went at her Charlie would go one step ahead and make things worse. It's how she grew up so it's all she's used to. If Kayla was in the right crowd in high school I think Charlie would have gotten to most of them at one time or another. |
