Counted it: 463 Clothed it: here Noted it: Hope this works . . . not amazing, but hey There are a few things that every teenager will do at least once in their life, even if it’s because they didn’t know that this was what it is. The first, alcohol. Even if it’s just with their parents, they’re going to get some sort of drink at least once before they turn 21. The Next, Parties. Whether it is a school thing, or going to someone’s house. The Third big one, Sex. Or at least, some sort of sexual situation with the opposite sex. And then, in some situations, like this night, you’ll wind up with all three in the same area. That was what it was the moment that Zander walked into the House party. He ran a hand through his brown hair, the strands cut long so he was often pushing it out of his face. He walked with a sort of calm ease, checking out the girls pressed tight together as they danced, some splashing around alcohol, others obviously trying to be as provocative as they could. A sly smirk appeared on the older teen’s face as he made a note to come back later and check out some of these dear ‘girls’ once he’d found some alcohol in the joint. He moved calmly from room to room, before finding the alcohol and not bothering with a cup, taking a beer straight out of the cooler, and popping the top with a fluid ease, before lifting it to his lips and taking a deep swig.
Hand gripped tight around the bottle, he moved through the throng of people, occasionally nodding to one individual or another that he either recognized from Jackson High, or who had recognized him. He had one hand on the beer, the other shoved into the pocket of his jeans, occasionally sending an easy grin at any women he found hot enough to deserve one, which was about the time he heard the name that had him raising an eyebrow. The one name ‘Derek’ he moved towards the girls speaking about the man in question, and it didn’t take long for Zander to figure out they were speaking of none other than his cousin. Derek Whitfield? So he was still here? Hmm, it looked like Zander would have to pay his older cousin a visit, just for old time’s sake, aye? He moved through the crowds, now looking for his cousin, attempting to locate the bastard, “Hmm, now if I were Derek, where would I be?” There was a pause, before Zander grinned, “Of course, I need to be looking for any men surrounded by females. That would be were Derek’s found . . .” Zander thought aloud, before wandering through the crowds searching out Darius Whitfield, determined ot find him before the hour was up.

Wondering things about Jacksonville’s newest couple. It wasn’t as if the two were keeping it a secret but they weren’t running around publicizing it everyone, no that job was left to the infamous Mister X; the man who could easily destroy lives with quick stroke of his keys. Apparently he wasn’t as up to date on things thought, since the happy couple weren’t even on speaking terms; Derek was even in the mindset that they were over. If she was resorting to avoiding him, once again might I add, then he’d give her all the space she needed and cut himself from her life.
It wasn’t the adult way to handle things, but when it came to Bree even he could get a bit childish. And it wasn’t as if he were any expert on the girl, but what he knew told him she might never come talk to him; history told him it might be like waiting on rain in an endless drought.
Exaggerating that little detail or not Derek was quick to disregard any comments or questions that came his way about the doe eyed brunette, each time she was brought up he felt a sharp pain in his chest; as if someone had stabbed him in the heart with a knife and try as he might he couldn’t ignore the pain. He was hoping the alcohol would do it’s job and make him numb to all emotion and he’d soon be able to hear her name and it wouldn’t cause him any kind of pain.
Thankfully not all the women at this party were after him for the juicy details of his relationship, even if there wasn’t any his opinion, no some were hitting on him relentlessly. As if the fact he were in a relationship made him even more desirable, and who the hell was he to burst their bubble if they chose to hang all over him and sweet talk him into bed. If he’d have known this would happen he’d have jumped into a relationship years ago and used it to his advantage to get even more women to sleep with him; it was so ingenious he wondered how he hadn’t thought of it before. His face hinted at the ghost of a smile as his hazel eyes danced over the faces of the women that surrounded him, still able to act confident and as if he didn’t care about all the attention he was getting; how acting like you didn’t want something got you it worked Derek would never know, but he loved that it worked that way.
Running his fingers through his dark chocolate locks he caught sight of a familiar face through the crowd of women, and at first thought he had consumed more alcohol then he knew he had. There didn’t seem to be any other way to explain why he saw the man he was seeing in the crowd of people. Pushing the girls aside he made his way through them until he was standing before Alexander Whitfield, and he couldn’t stop the smile that lit up his face. ”Well, well, well look at what we have here.” Clapping his hand on his cousin’s back he led him back towards the group of women he’d been entertaining, ”Ladies I’d like you to meet my cousin Zander Whitfield…so what brings you to town cuz. They didn’t send you to check up on me did they?” His eyebrow rose up in question, but he was only half serious about finding out it’s answer; if it did involve his family sending his cousin to check on him he didn’t want to hear it.

Counted it: 477 Clothed it: here Noted it: sorry it took so long. It hadn't taken that long, not really; for Zander to find a bunch of bands of girls hanging around. Some just talking, others dancing together. It was hardly a surprise though; girls tended to flock together, and it was no different at parties. Almost outrageous, it seemed; to Zander, at least; just how these girls seemed determined to cling to one another. It made it hard for guys like him to get a girl off on their own, so he could win over her heart, and convince her to spend the night. Not that he didn't mind a good challenge. And most of the girls here were more woman than girl. Which made the winning over that much more fun. Though; Zander had to clear that thought from his head. He wasn't hear to find a woman for the night, he was here to locate that dear, darling cousin of his.
Zander continued to move, pushing through the throng of people, gaze scouring over the faces of those individuals around him. He'd been here for over an hour, and still hadn't located Darius, though a few had pointed him in various directions. As he moved through the crowds, he soon saw a group of women, pouting as they seemed to be pushed aside. Stopping to watch curiously, a smirk soon fell on his face, as the figure of his older cousin broke free just in front of him. Zander watched the smile that grew across his cousin's face, before his cousin commented on his arrival. Zander rolled his eyes, as his cousin clapped a hand to his back, leading him back towards the woman who seemed to be watching the two cousins. Instantly; Derek introduced him, in which, Zander responded with a one handed salute, and a slightly cocky, but smooth grin, "A pleasure to meet you all, ladies." He commented, before his cousin spoke to him, asking why he was in town - and if it had to do with their family. Zander grinned then, raising an eyebrow, "Me? Watch over you? Ha, not quite, Derek. More like, I was sent here for you to keep an eye on me. Apparently they got tired of trying to keep me under control, and out of trouble." He smirked, shrugging, "Figured you'd be the guiding hand I'd need, or some crazy shit like that. |
[/color]" Zan still wasn't positive as to why they'd deemed that his cousin would do the best job at straightening them out. He highly doubted that Derek himself was straightened out. The likelihood of that ever happening seemed impossible. But hey, Zan was just a kid right, what was he suppose to know? You know . . . besides everything?
