there's a fire starting in my heart
reaching a fever pitch and it's bringing me out the dark

Addison had heard about the party from around campus. She had heard of Paris before but the two had never met, but from the things people say around campus she was glad she hadn't known her. Lucas told her that Paris had been one of Derek's friends, word around campus was, and since Addie absolutely hated that man for what he had done too her brother she had to believe he would be there tonight. She would love for nothing more than to run into him and punch him right in the face. See how he liked it when he was caught off guard. She had a pretty solid punch that she hoped could do some damage. Getting dressed all she could think about was going there in her brothers honor, if that is what you could even call it, and finding Derek to tell him once and for all you can't mess with her family. No, he'd probably not find her intimidating, and yes he would probably laugh right in her face, but she just didn't care right now. She sent a text to her brother saying she'd be in the library all night so not to bug her, and with that she found a ride from one of her friends to get her to the party. She could not believe the size of the house when she stepped out of the car. It was absolutely beautiful outside and she figured it'd be just as gorgeous inside. That was one thing she hated about rich people, how they could make everything look so damn fabulous without any work at all. She walked with her friend up to the door and when it was open she looked at the scene infront of her with all these people dancing and prancing around with one another. Seeing all of these people she actually found herself forgetting why she was here in the first place, and since she'd hardly be able to pick Derek out of a line-up she shrugged it off and decided to get into the spirit of the party. Her friend had seen someone she knew so Addie let her leave as she made her way further into the house looking around at all of the people. It's so funny that males and females were already paired off like early claims had already been staked on certain ones, but that was fine with her because Addie could care less about finding a man tonight. What she really wanted was to just let loose and enjoy herself now that she'd forgotten about coming here to crack open Derek's face. She reached the kitchen and grabbed one of the beers that was there cracking it and gulping some hating the taste, but if she were truly going to enjoy herself she'd have to at least start getting a little tipsy. She just hoped this wouldn't be just another lame high school party, but given the girls reputation she hoped the bitch had something up her sleeve to get the party really started. She'd keep an ear open for someone named Derek but really he was the least of her worries now as she took another drink. Though if she did find and punch him she'd have to thank him after for getting her ass to this party, but that was highly unlikely to happen. 578 WORDS , OPEN , OUTFIT , SOMEONE SNAG PLEASE?! |
