EYES: lorelei's eyes almost always sparkle with mischief and glee. however, they fill up with whatever emotion she feels, and they inspire that mood into others as well. the colour of her eyes is practically indescribable, as it changes under the light and with what she wears. they are not merely "brown", the shade and tint change to a reddish brown, to a dark hazel, to more black and more gold. they are impossible to label.
FIGURE: lorelei has a curious figure. she is only about five inches more than five feet, and is slender, without many curves. she is also rather flexible, and her figure allows her to contort herself into crazy positions that would make her an eligible dancer.
FASHION STYLE: lorelei loves searching through thrift stores and vintage boutiques to find unique and unusual clothing that no one else would own. she wears what she wants, when she wants, and nobody could ever make her change this.
GENERAL: she is undeniably pretty, with a youthful innocence about her. she is often mistaken to be younger than she is, except when wearing rather mature clothing.[/ul]
personality:
HER OWN: lorelei is a very unique person. by her own definition, she is "a deviant mind", though some people would simply call her a freak. she might not be a very popular person but that doesn't matter to her, as long as she has some close friends who she can be herself around she's happy. she's a very authentic and is always herself, never being someone she's not for anyone else. with her friends she's totally faithful and loyal, she stands by them no matter what, even if they've messed up or done wrong she'll stick up for them. she can't stand when people gossip, no matter who it's about, and will often step in to attempt to halt foul words that people are speaking about others.
AN ARTISTIC MIND: lori is a very artistic soul, who thinks with the mind of a painter, and she loves painting (her walls are completely covered in paintings she has made herself), so she is always looking for those little things in life that are powerful in meaning. because of this, she is rarely on time for events, since she likes to stop on her way to places and watch leaves fall or small things like that. she takes her time, taking in the world around her every moment and rarely rushing for anything. she has a huge passion for the arts, her brother being a musician himself. lorelei has been and always will be an artist, who understands the difference between a sonnet and a couplet, the difference between cadmium yellow and bright goldenrod, the difference between a high e sharp and a high e flat.
A CHEERY DISPOSITION: lorelei is nice. she's a genuinely nice person, who cares about other people. GENUINELY. she's not sugar and spice and everything nice, but she tries to see the good in everyone, she really does. she believes in giving everyone a second chance, but she is definitely more wary of them after they break her trust once. she never judges others, though she's known to ask questions others would be too ashamed to ask, but she means well.
A BELIEVER: lorelei believes in strange things like reincarnation, soul-mates, astronomy and all the stuff normal people ridicule. she rarely questions things, always taking them in openly and accepting it as it is.

Teddy walked along the streets of Hogsmeade village, his hands in his pockets. There was a cool breeze blowing gently, dancing through his dark hair, blowing his unbuttoned jacket out behind him, and whipping the scarlet and gold scarf in his path like a cloud trail on an airplane. He looked up at the sky, narrowing his eyes slightly instinctively when his line of sight came too close to the beaming sun. His hands were in the pockets of his dark coat, and he was wearing his old Gryffindor scarf for no particular reason at all other than that he liked it. He exhaled slowly, completely calm for once this week. This week he could only think about one thing, one person; Danielle Weasley. She had stolen his heart the day Teddy was old enough to realize just how much he cared about her. He sighed, scuffing his feet in the dirt and heading towards the Three Broomsticks, where he spent a fair amount of his spare time. He sighed again, remembering that day, one of the most horrible days in his life.

He walked quickly but casually through the winding cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade, a new found spring in his step, his mind focusing on one specific subject; Danielle, as usual. He looked around him momentarily, just to see around him. The sky was a dark ultramarine blue, speckled with bright, sparkling diamond-like stars. It was growing dark, lights were being turned on in windows, casting golden patches of light onto the ground outside. Teddy held a single blood-red rose in his left hand, tied with a black ribbon. He was on his way to the Three Broomsticks as usual, but this time he had a goal. This time he was going to ask Danielle out to dinner, only not as friends. He wanted Danielle, he wanted to show her a kind of love friends or family could not. This was the same love that burned in his heart every single time she smiled at him, every time they touched, every time he was near her. He loved her more than words could describe. She was, however much of a cliche, his world. Sky. Sun. Earth. Ocean. Air. Danielle. Teddy wanted to be with her forever, and tonight, he was going to tell her. Tonight, he was unstoppable.
He opened the door to the friendly pub, and stepped inside, being careful to hide the rose from anyone's view. He took a seat on one of the mahogany bar stools and glanced around for Danielle. He met her eyes, and she moved over to tend to him, he was, after all, a customer. "'Ello," He said, the corners of his lips turning up in a lopsided smile, Teddy's lopsided smile. "How are you?" He asked politely, saying the same thing he said every single time he walked into the Three Broomsticks. When Danielle replied he grinned. "A large Butterbeer, please." He said cheekily, sensing she was tired of making Butterbeers for people. It was a Saturday night, and there had presumably been many Hogwarts students in here, ordering this and that and overwhelming Danielle like large crowds of people often did.
Teddy slapped a small portion of his paycheck down on the counter, telling Danielle to keep the change. He was a well-paying customer, and she left to go prepare another one of the popular drinks. Teddy drummed the fingertips of his right hand on the counter, his left hand holding the rose loosely. He looked up as the doors to the kitchens and cellar opened up, and Lucas Kirke moseyed out, not Danielle. Disappointed but trying not to show it, a friendly smile shot up onto his face and stayed there for a few seconds before dropping again to a patient, slightly interested expression he donned when in the presence of people he didn't know or like too well.
"Hey, dude," Luke greeted Teddy with a short wave that looked like he was giving the air in front of him a high-five. Teddy tensed. Each time Luke referred to him as "dude", it made the older warlock like him even less. Teddy forced the corners of his lips up into a cheery smile, not genuine enough to show his teeth. Luke's eyes widened. "Dude, your, uh, hair is going like, blue." He said. Teddy sighed. His mother was a Metamorphmagus, and he had inherited the gene somewhat. The tips and roots of his normally dark chocolate-coloured hair had a tendency to turn bright aqua when he was angry or uncomfortable, it wasn't a nice habit to have.
"Uh, yeah, it does that sometimes." Teddy mumbled. The blonde bartender shrugged and leaned across the counter, resting his elbows on the edge. Teddy frowned, confused as Luke looked from the kitchen doors back to him.
"Dude, uh, Teddy... What do you think about me an' Dani?" He asked. Teddy blinked a few times, trying to register what he was being asked, absentmindedly fingering the red rose under the counter. When he asked Luke to repeat what he had said the younger wizard gave a small, embarrassed laugh. "You and her, you're not... together, are you?" He asked. After a moment's hesitation and what was supposed to look like a teasing smile but instead just looked cynical, Teddy shook his head. Luke grinned and nodded his head, giving that awkward embarrassed laugh again. "That's cool mate, real cool. So uh, do you think we -her and I- would be, uh, cool together, or somethin'?" It took the professor a moment to decipher the Hogwarts graduate's poor grammar, and gave what must have sounded to Luke like a yes. Luke grinned, and Danielle walked through the doors, a Butterbeer that was meant for Teddy in one hand. Luke looked at Teddy with a hopeful look on his face, and Teddy smiled in encouragement, nasty thoughts running through his head. "Oi, Dani! Want to uh... Wannagooutwithmesometime, or somethin'?" He asked, his speech rushed.
"Honey, you don't have to ask me twice," She replied. Teddy froze up, bewildered and incredibly disappointed. The pub went quiet, so quiet that Teddy was sure that everyone there -him, Luke, and Dani- could hear his heart break. As Luke moved -too soon, in Teddy's opinion- to kiss Danielle lightly on the cheek, the professor used all the will power he possessed not to hex him.
"I uhm, I have to go." He said abruptly, racing out of the Three Broomsticks, letting the rose fall to the floor behind him. Sky. Sun. Earth. Ocean. Air.Danielle.
xxxxx
With a sigh and fighting back the painful wails of his broken heart, Teddy opened the door to the pub. Inside was Danielle, only Danielle. He felt guilty about how obsessed he was, how relieved he felt when he assumed that Luke wasn't there to keep Danielle company. He had never liked Luke, it confused Teddy how the youngest Kirke boy had gotten into Ravenclaw. Sighing again, he sat down in his usual reddish brown bar stool at the counter, his hands folded in front of him, his fingers locked tightly the way they got when he was agitated or nervous, and he was praying that his hair wasn't turning that dreaded shade of turquoise. He sat there, staring at his hands, trying to figure out what to do with himself.
