personality: Holly is probably one of the most difficult individuals you will ever have the displeasure of meeting. She very much acts this way on purpose, and it comes naturally to her now. In general she's quite selfish and mostly concerned with herself and the people she occasionally decides she likes. She seems to treat her friends badly, but it's really just her being affectionate. Another point is her short temper and tendency to pick arguments just for the sake of it. She's also very impulsive, either doing stupid things for fun or taking forever to make a decision and then stuffing it up in the last minute. In combination with all this, she hates being told what to do and has very little interest in devoting herself to anything really, besides being a massive pain in the ass. Being disliked really just fuels her, and she doesn't particularly care at all what anyone thinks. Like every good angsty teen, she also enjoys underage substance abuse, petty vandalism and saying "fuck you!!" to authority. Occasionally though she can be prone to deep depressive moods where she mopes around and refuses to talk to anyone. It wasn't as if anything even triggers this. She's just bored of her suburban lifestyle and being a good girl for her parents.
Holly is actually more intelligent and observant then people give her credit for, she chooses to be an underachiever because life's just easier that way.
likes: causing trouble, blaming other people for it, breaking things, music, spending time with her friends, cigarettes, any kind of dessert, upsetting people.
dislikes: having to do work, the colour pink, mornings, cleaning, her parents, being touched by people she doesn't know.
strengths: stubborn, outgoing, creative,
weaknesses: selfish, lazy, argumentative, difficult, irrational.

At this point, if Frost had used some cheesy line, Tinsley would not have been impressed about been skeezed on by some stranger and just kept right on walking. Which was strange in itself, because normally Tinsley loved all those stupid little lines and gestures. They always made her giggle. But nothing made her laugh any more, not really. She hated feeling like this, she wasn't herself, and she got tired of trying to pretend that everything was ok. So it was easier to just hide, then she didn't have to deal with other people who knew her or cared. And she'd always been the same, even when she was little, and her family members would find her curled up in kitchen cupboards or under beds. Small spaces comforted her. Unfortunately, though, now she was rather too tall to fit into any of her old hiding spots, not to mention she had difficultly coordinating her own limbs. So she went elsewhere.
At least Frost seemed to have picked up some NYC street sense pretty quickly, kind of ignoring her until she mentioned his name. Not that she knew where he was even from; he might have been from the city anyway. Not that she knew anything about Africa or wherever he was from. "Well, that's half reassuring. I might be crazy but at least I'm not seeing things yet." He obviously recognized her, but she offered her name any. "I'm Tinsley by the way. If you didn't know." She took the offered seat next to him, fairly certain he wasn't going to be a creeper, holding out the light for his cigarette and then her own. The old woman looked over at them disapprovingly, but Tinsley ignored her. It wasn't going to affect her. Instead she offered Frost the vague ghost of a smile, still playing with the lighter in her hand.
She flicked the flame on and off, just watching it, before turning it to the plastic of the seat on her other side. It didn't even light up, it just half melted and burned, leaving a little black mark and the slight smell of burning plastic. Bored of that now, she turned back to Frost. "So. You're from south africa or whatever? You've got a cool accent." That was true. And she'd seen snatches of conversation in chat, but kept asking him questions anyway. She liked talking to people who didn't know her and wouldn't ask her anything personal. "Looking forward to Esperer?" Here she couldn't help but laugh; it wasn't even funny, more mocking, of the school though, not him. "Just kidding. Hate to say it, but that place is a hell hole. You should just drop out now, save yourself the future pain of it all." She paused. "Sorry to be cynical and all." Not really. She liked being cynical.
