Things were said and done; she was already on her way for vacation away from a place called home. It wasn’t unusual of her to be driving to such a far out place. Her mind was at ease as she drove on the highway at night. It was so peaceful, not having to hear people bitch about something that they didn’t like in the passenger seat. Even though she is laid-back and all no one wants to have someone complaining while your trying to drive. The scenery was different as she had never gone this way before. Whenever she travels it’s a new route to the same location or just simply a different location in a new route waiting to be discovered. Things were typical with her family, they would call from time to time wondering where she’s at, if she’s ok, and all that good stuff. Malaya was at ease, driving on the toll road, making it easier to get from place to place, since she was eager to get to where she was headed.
In the middle of the day, clouds rolling by in the sunlight, as it produced a glare in her eyes she quickly pulled down her visor. After a few hours of alone time in dead silence, you tend to get board by yourself. Making things more spiced up and entertaining she grabbed her ipod before glancing back and forth from the road to her music player. Hitting on her favorite playlists music began filling her car as she drove along. Singing was her favorite past time as she sang along with the artist that was playing. Her job was linked with most of the famous singers nowadays. She loved her job, who wouldn’t? As she reached Texas she explored its cities and counties. Slowly touring the views and beautiful scenery of its unique sights, which were way different then what she has imagined. Glancing back and forth at the buildings while passing through a small town she saw a shop that had caught her eye. There wasn’t any time to stop so on she went heading to Louisiana. Supposedly there was a deal that she couldn’t miss, and needed to be there on time. This was part of her job; the opportunity was not to be missed out on. As night drew in she had to stop at a hotel for the night, and proceed on tomorrow for another long drive.
Hopping in the car, quickly starting the ignition she reversed out of her parking space before pulling out into the street. It was four o’ clock in the morning as she pulled into the lane to turn onto the highway. From here on things got longer, the travel across Texas was almost impossible, but Malaya had to do it. Her GPS had gotten her this far, might as well keep on going. The skyscrapers were huge and bundled in Houston, as she managed to get this close to the border between Texas and Louisiana. Sighing in exhaustion she turned off at the next exit to take a break at the next gas station. As she opened the door she bought a cup of coffee before sitting down at a little table to take a quick rest, and needed the coffee for the rest of this drive. Things were going smooth, but the problem was how would the deal go? Her mind though upon this and began to think about it.
