Chris had been happy ever since New Year. He was now back with Kaitlyn and everything was going great with him. He really was happy. He hadn’t been this happy for a while and things were finally going okay with him. Things with Carter could be better but he didn’t completely hate him now.....or wait, did he? Well he didn’t know but he thought they were...plus it didn’t really matter, Carter was occupied with Tim a lot, and that kept him happy. He was glad it was all in the open finally, he could imagine that it would have been hard, especially being in love with his best friend. Everything seemed okay now though, but he still didn’t know what he was doing about college, he needed to figure that out, he wanted to go but on the other hand he really wanted to give the music thing a try. People had said he was good, Kait said he was good so why shouldn’t he actually put himself out there. He would have suggested him and his friends start up a band but he was hardly the one who would suggest that, he was hardly the leader in the dorm. Carter would be the one to mention it to them because he was the one who was more outspoken of all of them, he was probably second, but still he couldn’t really sing that well so all he brought in was the drums and that was not the MAIN feature of a band. He could admit that happily with no problem at all.
Chris would have liked to have a few more friends, but he had enough for now. He knew that he messed things up with Bree, she could have been a friend but he had kissed her and he knew things would probably be awkward. Not to mention she was his girlfriends sisters best friend. It was complicated....he really couldn’t see them being friends which was sad but he would be her friend if she wanted to be his. He didn’t want to be obnoxious and snobby, even though he wasn’t like that all the time, it wasn’t really how his parents had told him to behave, they always taught him that having class was not about putting people down, he hoped that he hadn’t offended anyone but he knew he probably had offended a few people at some point. He had been new to the school, in a strange environment, different country. It kind of messed with him a little, That wasn’t the best excuse he could have come up with but it worked for now, he would just have to apologise if anyone had assumed he was rude in the past, because he honestly did not mean to be rude, it was just how he was sometimes. He was even like that with his own parents and they did not like it at all. They had taught him better than that; Chris knew that as well as they did.
Chris was alone in his dorm, and thought he would text Kaitlyn and ask her to come round. As if they didn’t see each other enough, he wanted to see her again. Some people would be sick of seeing their boyfriend or girlfriend that much, but he liked seeing her, maybe he was a little clingy, she had more friends than him and was actually popular. He was still just the guy with the strange accent to some people, not everyone knew his name, not that he really cared about being popular anymore, that wasn’t what life was about, and he knew that it was more than that. He texted Kait and headed out of his dorm to go somewhere, figuring if she wanted she would ask where he was and catch up with him, when he noticed everything go black oh shit he said and asked someone passing by what was going on. He hadn’t watched the news that day so didn’t know about the weather. He had been lame and not even bothered to go outside or even look so he hadn’t known it had been snowing.....because he is lame. He guy told him and mentioned something about City hall, he decided to head out there so at least he had some kind of shelter, there was no point staying where he was right now.

{OOC: sorry for the poor writing, I'm just now getting back into RP-ing} ASHLEY.NICOLE.PRIEST
Ashley was wrapped tightly in her long, black military wool style coat that showed off her smooth hour-glass figure. Her arms were crossed in a pity attempt to stay warm as blasting air pushed past the fibers of the coat and seemed to bite at her skin. In an attempt to retreat from the cold, the fifth teen year old made her way past the collage dorms, city hall in mind. As she stepped outward upon a sidewalk leading to the dorms she was knocked head on by another person whom she had neglected to see as a result of the blackout. Her feet spread apart, attempting to regain lost balance, but managed to step on some frozen over black ice, and the freshman fell to the ground, landing on her side. Brunette curls fell upon her soft, made-up face, and as she swooped her hair back, revealing her now almost navy blue eyes and a face that made her look like a senior in High School.
"Ouch . . . " she groaned, looking at her now throbbing ankle. "I'm so sorry . . . I didn't mean to run into you . . . I'm just a little off beat because I'm new her and . . . " she paused, trying to not sound like she was rambling. The only thing she could make out from the ground was a tall and dark shillioutte of a male, probably a collage student considering he had walked out of the collage dorms. What a first impression . . .

Chris tried calling his dorm mates, to let them know that he was heading to the city hall, but neither of them were answering, he assumed they were busy elsewhere so it would be okay. He left them a voicemail anyway, thinking that it was a good thing to and let them know that he would be there. He didn’t know if they would pick it up, and plus his reception wasn’t all that good so it would probably be a little hard to hear him. He also let Kait know, he didn’t know where she was but she wanted her to be safe, so he said to her to join him if she was on her own. Though he figured that she would be with someone, Kaitlyn was all sorts of popular, unlike him. He had been finding it a little easier recently and he had toned down the ‘poshness’ and snobiness which he had wanted to do anyway. He hadn’t ever meant to be like that but it was just the way he had come across to some people at times. Chris wanted others to think he was alright and not some posh git because really he didn’t want to be like that at all.
As he made his way to the city hall, he was on his phone and admittedly not really paying attention, but the fact that the street lights weren’t on did not make it any easier for him to see and he went head first into someone. He hung up the phone and looked at the girl, Chris obviously felt bad at this but before he could apologise she slipped on some ice. He placed a hand on her shoulder to try and make her stay balanced but she ended up on the floor. He looked at her and offered his hand out to help her up and shrugged off her apology I am sorry, I should have been paying more attention he said in his British accent, gesturing to his cell phone. Are you okay? he asked her. He smiled at the girl, she looked around his age, maybe a little younger and she was very pretty. She had the most beautiful blue eyes. Obviously Chris wasn’t interested in her that way because he had Kaitlyn but he didn’t mind helping her out. Once she was up he smiled back at her. Are you okay? he asked.
She then spoke about being new and a smile came across his face again. Well, I know what that is like, please don’t apologise. As I said I should have been paying more attention to what was going on around me he smiled. He thought for a moment. Now if she was new, she wouldn’t know where she was going, she seemed to look a little lost, the least he could do for her was to lead her in the right direction where he was going as well right? At least she would have some shelter, and that was where he had heard the other high school students were going to gather. I am actually heading to the City Hall right now because of the blackout, they are offering shelter there, you are welcome to walk with me if you like he told her politely. Or I can show you where to go if you want to go some other direction? he told her. I was new last year so I know how it is he told her. I am Chris by the way, Chris Judd he introduced himself. He felt it appropriate if he was going to show this girl where to go, she would want to know that he wasn’t some homicidal maniac. So do you go to Jackson High as well? he asked her. I am a senior, I started last year, moved from England he said. He was probably going on more than she wanted to hear, but if he said a bit about himself, maybe she would do the same.
[OOC; The length is fine :-]...oh and just so you know, chris is in the high school lol but don't worry, lol ]

ASHLEY.NICOLE.PRIEST
"Yeah, I'm fine." she said with a smile, taking his hand a and pulling herself back onto her feet. He was about one inch or two taller than she, and had a British accent that made her smile (on the inside). "Sure, we can walk together. I'm still kind-of lost on where everything is, so its probably best."
Ashley dug her hands into her pockets and looked upon Chris. "My name's Ashley Priest . . . I'm a Freshman at the High school." The words were almost painful to say. Being a freshman was like being the baby, and when you looked older, she sometimes let down other guys who thought for her to be in their grade. She was expecting the look of disipointment that had been typical in almost every guy she had ever talked to, and was still hurt by it. The thoughts of, 'wow she looks older than that', or 'dang girl, you got held back about three years' probably crossed all of their minds at one point, and only made meeting new people feel worse. "I moved here from North Carolina." 'and sadly left my horse behind . . .' she added in her mind. Titanium seemed like the only thing she could openly talk to. After all, horses don't judge you or gossip about you or think your ugly. They're just your friend.
Nikki sighed and shifted her feet, carefull to avoid hitting the ice again. "Thanks for helping me up by the way . . . " she said quietly, feeling outranked by the senior infront of her, as if expecting him to assume authority or loose intrest in the coversation because she was about three years younger.

When the girl said they could walk together he smiled at her. She was very pretty, but of course he only had eyes for Kaitlyn. He preferred the blondes anyway. Okay cool he smiled at her Well I know where all the good places are, so I could always show you around sometime too if you want. he told her. Chris was just being friendly because he knew that when he was new he liked seeing friendly people around the place. Maybe he didn’t always make it easy but even so, there had been a few people who had been nice to him who he was friends with still now. He was still working on Carter, the man was more tolerable of him now at least. As they walked he made sure that she was okay, he had grabbed a torch on his way out so he grabbed it out of his pocket and turned it on to light the way for her. He had been brought up to be a gentleman, which was just the way he was. Maybe some things he did were a little excessive but that didn’t really bother him. He wasn’t as bad as Jay at least, he did not like him.
He had met the man a couple of times when he had hung out with Kait in the dorm, and around the school. He was known for his reputation as a ladies man. When she said that she was a freshman he could almost not believe it. He didn’t believe it because she looked older. He would have said she was at least a junior. Anyway he just smiled Nice to meet you Ashley he said. He wasn’t going to be all prim and proper and put out his hand for her to shake, because he knew that was outdated. People didn’t really do that anymore, well maybe older people did but not those of his generation, not around where he was now. He had toned down how he was before he came to the school, mainly he had changed for Kait because he knew she had never been a mega fan of his snobbish ways. He had never meant to be judgemental but that was how he came across at times. Chris never meant to be hurtful really. He just wasn’t good with his words at times. He smiled slightly. Well he didn’t know how far South Carolina was but he knew she probably did miss home a little. He knew he still did occasionally.
Oh it’s no trouble at all he smiled when she thanked him for helping her I am happy to help he said walking alongside her. So did you move here with your parents or have you moved away from them? he asked just making conversation. He hoped that she did not think he was being rude, he was just curious, and he didn’t really know what else to talk about, plus it was dark and if he didn’t say anything else it would make things even more weird.

OOC; sorry it took me so long to respond . . . and sorry for my uncreative and repetitive pronouns . . .
ASHLEY.NICOLE.PRIEST
"That'd be great." she said with a warm smile. She was releived that he had not judged her by her age so harshly, and he came accross as a kind person. Ever since she had moved she had lacked firends, and now she was beginning to pick up aquantinces.
"Nice to meet you too. I moved her by myself . . " she said, voice trailing off as she remembered her parents. Her dad was if-y about sending her to a boarding school, but her mom trusted her. Luckaliy. Although sometimes she wished she was just back home with Titan on the farm, and coming home to welcoming parents and her own bed. 'If Titan were here though' she thought, 'I'd be able to make it through anything . . .'
That horse was everything to her; really. She had allways assumed a boyfriend wasn't needed because she had her horse, and Titan would never backstab like a friend. He would just alwasy be their . . . always.
However, the chances of him coming back were slim, so she sucked it up. She needed friends anyway, and spending all day at a barn with her horse wouldn't land her much . . . if any.
