SECRET -- he's a hacker. students pay him to hack into the school system to change their grades, and he also steals and distributes answer sheets for tests / exams.
In everything i've seen Josh in they always have him playing a nerd, so I wanted to do something fun and different with him. First glances you'd call him just another nerd, but the more you get to know him you see that he's got this wild bad side to him. He first found out he had what it took to lock into the schools systems when he was only fourteen years old, so he started offering his services to the sports teams around the high school. He would change their grades so they could continue to play on their respective teams, and in return they would pay him (either with money or whatever else he wanted at the time). His social status climbed and he soon became one of the most popular kids in the school (you'd never guess that from what he looks like), so it makes sense that Mercedes hears about him and invites him into her inner circle of friends. He's one of the reasons she has passed so many of her classes, so she keeps him close for when she needs him. He enjoys dressing like a geek so people think he's this wholesome guy, but his peers know he's so much more than that. These two have never slept together up to this point, but I am hoping to have him as a future romantic plot [we can figure that out] so it's bound to happen! She has never been serious in the love department so if you want ---- can change that and be her first long term relationship (final maybe?) it doesn't matter really, I just love Josh.

When ----'s parents split up it ruined her world. Her father was everything to the family, especially their main source of income, so to find out he was leaving the family for another woman broke ----'s heart. Her grades started to slip when her mother's bills started to stack up. They could not afford everything on their own, so ---- thought cutting down would help. She started starving herself so there were groceries in the house, thinking that was helping out her family, but soon her health took a dive and she started to get sick. Her mother noticed she was getting thin and questioned her, so to prove she was alright ---- would shovel food into her mouth. Since all the nutrients were practically foreign to her body she ended up getting even more sick. Mercedes notices her changing moods and questions her, and finally after persuasion gets it out of her about the eating disorder she's brought on herself. Mercedes made a deal with her, she would help her get help if one day --- would return a favor. --- agreed to that deal and Mercedes shipped her out to a rehab clinic to help her over the summer. --- is very smart so her mother believed she got a summer abroad internship. When school started once more --- resurfaced looking refreshed and healthy. Mercedes is the only one who knows her secret, and she uses that against her knowing one day there'll be a favor she'll need to help her with no questions asked. If anything --- is Mercede's closest friend [if you can call her that].

It's hard to believe that this all started with a dare. The group were drinking and someone mentioned how hot one of their teachers were. One thing lead to another and --- was dared to come onto him after class one day. Nobody thought that it would get out of hand, but soon --- was rarely around afterschool to hang out with the group. She always had "homework" she just "had to do". It didn't take long for the group to understand "homework" had meant her teacher, and one night the boys followed her to the teachers house and snuck around back to peak in the windows. They couldn't believe their eyes when the teacher and --- were caught in the act of undressing each other, and next time the group was all together --- was accused of sleeping with him. She denied it at first but soon figured out they had caught her, so instead of denying she instead let them in on her little secret. Not like it mattered compared to some of the other shit they get themselves into, but it did matter to --- when she had a pregnancy scare. She only told (shenae grimes pb) about it though but Mercedes knows they're keeping something from her. She's hoping she'll figure it out soon because she hates being left out of secrets.

--- is one of the big men around campus. He is quarterback of the football team and a big deal around the city. He's a dick but people still love him. If they only knew that he had a serious gambling problem, and sometimes he gets himself into some serious situations. He has figured out a great way of getting out of his tight spots, and that's to bet on the other team when the odds are low. He's thrown four football games in the past year, the school suspicious but unable to pinpoint the player responsible, and each time he throws those games he gets out of whatever debt he's gotten himself into. You'd think he'd learn but he just can't help himself. Him and Mercedes met at one of the dorm parties, during the time she was having a fling with Zachary Heywood, and soon she left Zach for this male. The two were hot and heavy for a couple of weeks, but then she got bored of having him around and pushed him out the door. The pair meet up randomly just for a night together, but that doesn't happen too often anymore. He's a real player and doesn't like to be settled down with just one person, so a casual fling is perfect for these two. If you have any other idea let me know, but for now I see them being just on-off whenever they're lonely.
