Skylar was born and raised in New York City with his mom, Sara, and his dad, Marshall. Growing up, he basically had a perfect life. Living in the most amazing city on the face of the planet, his parents appeared to be deeply in love with each other, and basically had no problem with life. Growing up, his mom made him take dance, piano, and voice lessons, much to his father’s dismay. Skylar enjoyed doing all of the things his mom had him do. To counteract what his mom was making Sky do, Sky’s dad signed him up for soccer and baseball. He loved doing sports just as much as doing dance, piano, and voice.

When Skylar was 12, his dad was driving him home from a soccer game, when they were hit head first by another car. The majority of the damage was to the passenger side, where Skylar was sitting. They were both rushed to the hospital shortly after the crash. Marshall didn’t have any major injuries, just a few bruises, but Skylar was in really critical condition. He had internal bleeding, and severe damage done to his left leg. The doctors eventually got the internal bleeding under control, but they couldn’t do anything about Sky’s lower leg. They had no choice but to amputate it.

Sky’s parents had another kid when he was 14. Shortly after Sky’s little brother Aaron being born, his parents split up. His dad was caught cheating on his mom with one of his coworkers. They got the divorce within a few months of this occurrence. Skylar has rarely talked to his father ever since this happened. Skylar is staying with his mother, helping pay the rent with his two jobs, while maintaining good grades, being in sports, and involved in his schools music programs.

He plays soccer, baseball, and is on his schools track team. When he plays sports, it makes him forget about the outside world. He is also in his schools band, choir, and drama program, and is in the schools musical every year. He plays saxophone in the band, but on the side, he plays guitar, bass, drums, and piano. Without music and sports, Skylar would not be able to get through life. To help support his mom and little brother, Skylar has two jobs. One of the jobs is at one of the numerous Starbucks in the city. His other job is at a small, family-owned general store type store. The owners are this couple in their late fifties, and Skylar is one of their head managers.

SKYLAR & AIDAN
Ooh, I really like Skylar! And so I must plot with him >=o Hah. Anyway, Aidan will definitely know Skylar if he plays soccer, since that's basically Aidan's life. He'll think it's really cool that Skylar can still play with a prosthetic leg and be constantly impressed by him. I can see them being good friends (: Aidan will also probably try to look out for Skylar, whether or not he actually needs it, and be supportive of him. Yeahh. Let me know if you have anything to add/change!

skylar and TK -- ahh, i really want these two to know each other somehow being so involved in music, voice, and instruments. i don't exactly know how unless they knew each other when TK was a junior and he was freshman? i feel like they'd get along very well though!

skylar and evie -- i can see evie being totally amorous of skylar. i think she'd be so taken with him just for the fact that he's such a strong person and deals with everything so well it seems like. plus, he's super active despite his setbacks. i'm not sure if evie would crush on him very hard or just be in total admiration for him yet, but it'd definitely be something. she's trying to figure out "who she is" so i feel like skylar is the best person for her to be around, and i feel like she'd open up to him about her family which is pretty rocky. you can add/drop anything, i just felt like getting this all out there XD

SKYLAR && AIDAN --

I like this idea =) Soccer is Sky's favorite sport, so they could probably have gotten close through that. Most people tend to try to look out for Skylar, and sometimes he's fine with it, but most times he likes to do things on his own; so that could go either way with them. =)

SKYLAR && TK --

Maybe when Skylar was a Freshman/Sophomore and TK was a Junior/Senior they got to know eachother from doing theater together in high school? Perhaps?

SKYLAR && EVIE --

(haha my other charrie's name is evangeline, too!!) Anyways, I like her =) I think that they would make really good friends, if not, maybe more someday haha I like your ideas, so lets get threading! =)

tk and skylar -- yeah, that sounds good. since tk has so many friends still at school that he sees a lot he would see skylar often as well. plus, i think he would keep him updated about theatre outside of school, etc etc

evie and skylar -- (it is such a gorgeous name! both of my characters have repeat names but they go my nicknames anyways haha) yeah i agree! i have some posts to catch up on, so i can either post for them later or you can start?

whoop! Aidan will probably see Skylar as the "brother he never had," or something sappy and cliché like that. He'll also try to challenge him, I think... kind of go 'can you do this?' Not in a mean way, obviously, but just because he'd be curious about how capable Skylar is in spite of the prosthetic leg.

I'm cool with that completely! Could you possibly start a thread? I have my final day of testing tomorrow and will be able to reply as soon as I get home (i'm leaving right after testing, so I'll be home 3 hours earlier than normal). (Oh, and this is one of my other accounts)
