robbie, 26, wrestling coach, single father
Robert Reed has lived in Jacksonville from the start, and even though he has such a troubled past linked to his name he refuses to move. He loves this city and wants to raise his daughter on the same streets he grew up on. He used to be an underground fighter and into whatever drug he could get his hands on as a teen, and he even dropped out of high school during his sophomore year because he couldn't hack it. He was just another piece of shit street bum until he was twenty four and a chick came to him and told him their one night stand resulting in a child. He didn't believe her and threw money at a DNA test while the baby was still in the womb, and when the results came back that he was the biological father it hit him like a train. He tried to be a better man and let this woman he barely knew move in to make a family. She lied to him saying she was clean and had stopped using drugs, but he found out when she was in labor at 32 weeks along that she was lying. She skipped town and after a month in ICU his daughter Carson could go home, and since then it's been almost a year and he's trying to get his life back together. He could use some storylines so let's see!
FRIENDS, he had a few true friends from his childhood that I wouldn't mind seeing around here. They would probably still be into drugs and he would be tempted to hit whatever they're using, but he'd try to say no because of his daughter. He could use some friends that never knew him when he was a fuck up so his slate can be clean. He's still a tough ass but when his daughter is around you can get a conversation out of him. I don't see him being mister popular but a friend here and there couldn't hurt.
LOVERS, he has a thing for the ladies so I could see him having plenty of women that he messes around with. He is very careful and condoms are his best friend, but back when he slept with his daughters mother he was wearing one so they're not always the most reliable. He's just as cautious as he can be because he's afraid he's going to knock another chick up and get put back in this same situation again. He does love Carson but the entire story behind her birth is ridiculous with that other chick involved. He is afraid to get into a relationship so if you want something like that out of him you're going to have to be patient. He's more about just sleeping around than developing feelings, and let's face it he's already got one beautiful woman in his life so he doesn't think he needs another (i'm talking about his daughter).
ENEMIES, I can see him having a lot of these if only for his reputation. People hear about all the shit he used to do and peg him as a loser or bad person, and even though most of their accusations are right he still likes to think he's changed a little. He has a short fuse and doesn't take shit from people, so if people start to crack jokes about his past or present situation he'll kick your ass. He does not like to fight around his daughter so people that piss him off when she's around are lucky right then, but they're not so lucky when he makes it a point to come and find them when she is at the babysitters or something. He does hold a grudge and he will hurt you.
OTHER, most things can go into the above categories but i'm looking for everything really, so if you have an idea I would love to hear it. I love drama so keep that in mind! Fluff storylines are fun and all but drama is going to keep me hooked that's probably the reason why all my characters are so weird. He's been around Jacksonville forever, has slept around, and has burnt a lot of bridges with people so there's plenty of places for your character to fit in. In my mind, these two would get along fairly well. Mostly, it would be out of compassion for Rob's daughter. Perhaps, for an opening thread, she could be talking with him about taking shots of his wrestling boys. That's when Carson's daughter would be brought up somehow, and Davina's whole idea of 'this is just business' could change. She'd admire him being a single father, and perhaps even be a little attracted to him for the same reason. Men with babies are chick magnets, after all. Seeing how she's a few years older, he could take it as a joke. Or he could take it as one step below a cougar. Still, being a woman in the process of divorce, with her biological clock ticking, her subconscious could whisper sweet nothings to her about the man she wanted but could never have. In fact, I almost think it'd be fun to have him see her as a creeper. haha. [/size] |

I'm trying to think of something for her because she is lacking a few plots ATM. I had the idea that he could actually be her cousin? I don't know why, totally random I Joni but I think she needs an older brother figure in her life, and once she starts dating the guy she babysits the kid for properly there's gonna be some awkwardness. I can imagine him being really protective. She wouldn't mention his drug phase, she is totally against them but she has been with a guy who took them and she would be glad that at least he got help and all that. She would love her little cousin too, so yeah, this is just an idea, feel free to change stuff.!

She will so totally flirt with him! She'll think he's hit and he's the wrestling coach so she's thinking that he's bound to have a good body. She's a little shallow, basing guys like that, but she's really not that shallow (that sounds odd but it's just the first impression she sometimes gives off), shes just a little dumb and often says the wrong thing. Since she is kinda crushing on her BFF I doubt anything major serious would happen with them, it depends whether he would see her as girlfriend material. They could just have a fling maybe, or a short relationship?

Ben has no friends apart from kenn, so having someone he can talk to about guy stuff would be good for him. He's one of those guys who doesn't go out looking to make friends. He will talk to people if they talk to him but he's not going to go out of his way and make an effort, he's not like that at all, they might not get along because of their personalities, I think we could just thread them?
I also have Maddie but wasn't sure what I could say for the two of them.!

When I read this idea this afternoon I had to think about it before I replied, but now that i've had some time I think I can figure the rest out. I really want him to think of her as a creeper just because it seems funny thinking about Robbie making sure to lock his doors at night and nervously looking over his shoulder. He doesn't have a problem with older chicks but if her biological clock is ticking he's going to think she's going to want his family (or to start a family of her own with him). Robbie's brain doesn't work at full capacity so he'd make more out of it then is there, but that's not going to stop him from trying to sleep with her. He has needs and desires and if she's willing he'd be more than happy to give himself to her, but then he'd turn bi-polar and start freaking out that she would make more out of it than just a casual fling. I think these two could be so much fun! I'm going to be throwing a thread up for him at the masquerade tomorrow if you want me to tag her in it? Or we can do a thread somewhere else sometime.

They could be cousins but I don't see him being a big brother figure. He's a dick and looks out for number one only, that's his daughter, and himself without caring much about other people. He's had some fucked up things happen in the past that's made him this way. I saw your wanted ad about the babysitting position so I think that's the man you're talking about right? Robbie wouldn't feel threatened or awkward about the man for the fact that he's a single father, so he'd actually feel comfortable around him so there'd be no fear factor. If they were cousins we could work on building their family relationship, but it would take time and effort.

I'm not sure if he would overstep his boundaries and sleep with a student. Even if he is not a teacher he still works at the school and that would look bad on him, but then again he has a mind of his own usually so he could want to sleep with her given enough incentive. He doesn't want a girlfriend, he wants nothing to do with the word, but he could handle her flirting and would even throw some charm back at her. It would be fun but I don't think anything would come of it.

robbie & shay After all my checking and doing some math which is never fun for me at any hour of the day I’ve come to the conclusion that these are not only the same age(that part was easy) but they’d have gone to school together and been in the same grade. Crazy I know; so many endless possibilities!
Well then again not really since Shay and Robbie were a lot different growing up and ran in different cricles, Robbie with his druggies and Shay with well nondruggies. Though Shay being the good guy he is would hang around anyone, no matter what they do, he just wouldn’t do what they’re doing and would try to get them to stop; in Robbie’s case I don’t see that happening. So they could’ve come to some kind of middle ground where Shay doesn’t get on his case and Robbie(well he probably would try to get him to do drugs to loosen up) but he doesn’t hassle him about it; could be because(if you’re up for it) they were childhood friends, grew up together but like sometimes happened they drifted apart. Not completely apart just enough to where they were headed down different roads. I mean hell Robbie(so it seems) turned to a life of crime and Shay became a cop, just imagine with me all the possible scenarios this could bring up for them throughout their lives.
Shay always there to arrest Robbie and try to tell him to change his ways, and Robbie being the stubborn asshole he is not wanting to give or change. LOTS OF GOOD TIMES!
And Shay was married but his wife was murdered by some punk on the streets imagine the drama if Robbie knew who but it’s one of those situations where he doesn’t say anything because well he doesn’t know the guy did it he just knows him but if ever talked about he’d put the pieces together. I’m sure Shay would’ve heard about his wife being murdered but since they weren’t as close as they once were it’s not like he can go console the guy, and at that point in his life he might not care as he was focused on drugs and fighting. But they got one thing in common they both have daughters, Shay’s is three now but still two single dads who are trying to get by.
Robbie doesn’t seem like he’d make it easy on Shay which I love! but I’m sure he’d try to help the guy out; his mom(Shay’s mom) would’ve been all ’I heard from Melynda that her son Robbie just had a baby girl and blah blah blah…’ you know the classic gossip mom’s would talk about, and her little chat with her son would have him going to see Robbie and trying to befriend him and be there for him. Teach him some tricks with raising a baby girl, even though their situations are different since Robbie’s daughter has medical problems from her dick of a mom doing drugs while she was pregnant. He’d still try and maybe somewhere down the line they talk about his wife and this guy Shay knows kills her and then Robbie’s all ’I know that guy.’ then dramas from him not telling Shay and other fun stuff, but I mean with these two I just see endless fun and drama.
But if you don’t think this will work that’s fine. Feel free to add/change/delete anything.
O: I like how I just realized if you go for the childhood friends thing Robbie’s last name is Reed and Shay’s last name is Reagan so if the school was all about alphabetical order they’d always be right next to each other(not even thinking about if someone else might be between them with another Re name).
[/div] robbie & gary I’m not really sure with these two so since there is an age difference there and even though Gary has been in Jacksonville for five years(I think five since he’s 19 and came to the town his freshman year, I hate math) but I don’t see that meaning they’d have run into each other.
Gary isn’t really into drugs, he’ll smoke pot and he’s more than likely experimented(though he won’t admit it but he is rich so he could’ve gotten it) but he’s not heavy into that scene. But he does love to party. So I see that as the most likely plce they’d have run into each other; Gary will go to any party as long as there is free booze and women to be slept with. I can see them having competitions to see who can get what woman and Gary being younger always losing, eventually he’d beat him(I think) but it’d be one of those brotherly type rivalries where he’ll keep trying to outdo the older male and once he does Robbie would be all ’good job sport you’ve become a man.’ And be all condescending to make him feel like it really is no big deal.
I don’t see them being best buds or even like brothers, more like rivals but not ones hell bent on destroying each other if that makes sense. Though I’m sure Gary would love to throw the fact he has money in Robbie’s face to get what he wants and out do the male but I don’t see him going to great lengths to fight Robbie. Since for the most part I see very little reason for either one to hate the either; but I don’t see a reason for either one to be friends. Acquaintances I guess, I wish I could think up more but that’s all I can do for these two. Damn Gary for being too young and Robbie for being too old and not letting me think up more epic plots. I really don’t even know if that made sense, haha I hope it all did.
And after writing all the other plots I just realized Robbie is the wrestling coach at Jackson Prep, not that Gary went there since it just opened this school year but he was on the wrestling team at Jackson High. If that can somehow work into things.

Wes well for the most part he is another good guy, and to add to that he’s a southern gentleman(even though he won’t ever call himself one.) But don’t let the fact he’s a good guy make you dismiss him yet missy! This cowboy likes to live life on the edge; he may not be into drugs but he puts his life on the line in other ways. Thrill seeking. Sky diving, swimming with sharks, base jumping, and other reckless stuff that would give most people a heart attack. I mean hell he’s been known to foolishly ride his motorcycle in the winter, on roads covered in ice even, just to get his heart racing(even though he’s got a perfectly good truck that would keep him from cracking his skull.) Granted he’s put that part of his life on hold, except the riding his motorcycle part, because he’s been getting his construction business started up; so most of his money was being used for work instead of pleasure.
He’s been town for several months and after focusing on work he might just need someone to help him get back to the fun he used to have so recklessly, he’s gonna meet Hex who’ll help with that but come on epic bromance would be awesome. Robbie would probably be a stubborn ass about actually being friends but Wes would be just as stubborn and tell the man ’partner yer jus gonna have ta swallow yer gosh dern pride and accept that we’re friends. Jehe talking like Wes is always fun. And he’d keep at it and Robbie would swoon over his Texas accent d: and the two seem like they could get to a relationship where they bicker but still get along; because no matter how Robbie pushes Wes won’t give up, he doesn’t give up on people unless they completely lose his trust. That’s not easy to do but since Robbie seems like he wants to change I don’t see that happening though if he did lose it could be fun dramas to play out.

[/div] robbie & derek These two seem like they’re cut from the same cloth; Derek has been fighting all his life, even if he wasn’t trained he still fight people(both for fun and to stay alive). And he was involved with drugs, he didn’t do them himself but he was used as a pack mule(unknown to him at first) and then later he started to sell the stuff around his town to really own the streets like the badass he is(yup total badass!) And though he was in a gang but left them and started his own, even though he won’t call it that they were one. Now Derek hasn’t knocked anyone up but everything else seems like they could get along well while being overly destructive.
At some point, soon I hope, I plan to have Derek get involved in the underground fight scene(we’ll make it more known thing) and though Robbie got out I’m sure Derek would know about him. Hell Derek probably went to check it out a time or two and could’ve seen Robbie fight but never did anything about it. But he knows to get respect or fear you give it, so I can see him approaching Robbie now for a fight just fight the best that there was; which could be a very good fight hehe. They seem like yet another badass duo we could have we just are awesome like that. I’m sure neither would could the other as a friend but still if they ever got in a fight together it’d be mind blowing, I can just see the destruction they leave in their wake.
I get if you don’t think they’d find that a way to get along, as they are two like personalities that would butt heads. But sometimes you need someone just like you to hang around, even if they are a few years younger. side note Derek might look up to Robbie as a big brother, since he’s not close to his own and would rather have a big brother figure like Robbie but he’d never tell the man this though it could be implied through his actions(he’s a big actions speak louder than words kinda guy.) Robbie & Derek, Derek & Robbie any way you spin it does sound awesome, and if you heard that the two bad boys in Jacksonville were coming to get you you’d be scared. hehe I shall push this idea relentlessly
Oh and his daughter is adorable, while Derek isn’t for having any kids himself at this point and tries to stay away from them I could just picture all the awkward fun times as he’s watching her watching him. He’s just hanging out with Robbie and then his daughter looks at Derek and he’s all ’she’s trying to start something with me!’ Then could lead to all kinds of fun dramas, cause we love our dramas.

Maybe the two grew up on the same block? Were best friends when they were toddlers playing at the community park, and when they went to school they were inseperable? Then just before their teens that could have been when they grew apart? That way they'd have the classic best childhood friends working for them, and usually it's the youngest ones that grow apart the easiest. That would keep Robbie from hassling him about drugs when they were older. This could bring up so many possibilities!
Robbie should know about how it happened! He could have known the people who shanked some cops wife because he was getting to close to catching them doing something, but he never put it together that it was actually Shay's wife until the funeral (which i'm sure was all over the papers since a local cops wife was slain). This could have him harboring guilt which could come into play later. It'd be the whole "he was my childhood best friend so I should tell him, but if I do I risk the gang coming after me or my daughter" so he'd be selfish about it.
I think it'd be fun if they could connect through their daughters. Robbie would be hesitant and it'd be awkward a lot, but I think these two could be fun!

This is going to sound gay but Robbie would have went to the wrestling matches around Jackson High just to check the fighters out (see if he could bring any to the street). Maybe he saw potential in Gary and came at him one night making an offer to give him some tricks of the trade? That could lead to some awkward brotherly bonding, the competitive nature coming out, but they wouldn't seek each other out to hang out or anything. It'd just be him helping out another fighter and random hello's at parties. I told you my idea sounded gay.

Friends? No. Never. I love this idea! Maybe once Wes starts living on the daring side again him and Robbie could meet up and that's how the bromance would start? He needs a wingman and a southern gentleman always knows how to get the ladies, so I could see Robbie calling him up sometimes saying "drop whatever plans you have and get dressed, we're going out" he is sounding gay now too. I think a friendship could really work!

His old drug dealer could have gotten into that altercation that killed Shay's wife that night (gang-related shanking)! That would be even more dramatic! Robbie needed a fix and heard of Ricky, and even though there's an age gap you can't deny he's a good dealer with the best shit on the market. I could see temptation taking over and Robbie buying something from Ricky, but then he flushes it or something because he knows he can't go down that path. It'd just be nice having that dealer at arms length for if/when he got an itch he had to scratch.

Donnie should call him gay just because he's tried to help his brother with his wrestling stances, so Donnie should have walked in when Robbie had his arms around Gary with his head between his legs (or any awkward position would work). I have nothing for these two though.

He doesn't want to fight anymore but if someone comes at him with a challenge he will accept it, so if Derek wants to take the street crown he is going to have to go through Robbie first. They could make great friends who randomly kick the shit out of each other because who doesn't want to just kick the shit out of their friends every once in a while. Robbie doesn't care about age and if Derek's tough enough to hang with him I could see some destruction to come. He'd have Derek's back so all he'd have to do is say the name and Robbie would be there to kick that persons ass. He may try to act grown up for his daughter but the fighter will never come out of him. I like the idea with his daughter too, who Robbie is going to teach self defense too as early as he can, but I think Robbie would be doing something and ask Derek to just watch her for a minute. I think you said Derek and Aubrey are getting back together right? If that happens Robbie's going to be picking on him about how he'll have a bun in the oven soon enough which would lead to him trying to kick Robbie's ass.

robbie & shay I dunno if I said it before but I like the way you think. This is all exactly what I was talking about so we on the same page, it’s a beautiful thing.
