Jackson High RPG thrives to make sure it's members understand and follow the rules mentioned in this board. Please make sure you have read the rules before you make a character profile. Also, site notes will be under this board, and also board suggestions can be posted here!

Each month (perhaps bi-weekly even) there will be an update under this board. We suggest the members take the few minutes to read it as it'll give off very important information about the game and upcoming features.

Before you're able to start roleplaying around JHS you're going to have to create a character profile. This board is for all of the adult profiles here, so if you're going to be around as school staff your profile should go here! No approval is needed before you start playing, but if we see that the profile needs work we'll let you know.

Have a specific character request? Post here where the guests can read and if it's juicy enough it'll be snatched by someone in no time hopefully.

Do I even need to explain what these are anymore? Post a plot page for your character and watch the other characters jump for storylines with them, it's that easy.

These are simply to keep all your threads in order. It's a nice way to showcase what you're doing around here, or if you're like me it's great to remember where all your damn threads are. Either way thread trackers are very useful and should be used (of course not mandatory though).

Post both IC and OOC games here, but please specify so the other members do not get confused. This is also a great way to build up storylines and relationships with other characters, so don't hesitate to join in on the fun and games here!

Let's face it, these days there isn't a single teenager walking around without a cell it seems. It's a quick and easy way to keep in touch, so get if there's something you can't wait to tell someone give them a call!

This board is the only one on the entire game where I have limited the number of characters you can use in a post. 2000 does NOT get you that many words so you have to choose them wisely! Do not use templates under this board or you'll use all your characters up quickly! Have fun writing these shorter posts to help get the muse up for the longer ones!

Mister "X" is notorious for exposing the students for the true characters they are around Jackson High. Students should not expect any sympathy from Mister "X" as he brings each name up in his posts. He has stated nobody is safe, so let the games begin!

Ah, the lovely bathroom stall. It's known for the markings on the wall crushing all spirits of community members. Is your name on the wall? Trust us, this is not the place you want to be. Be on the lookout, anyone can post and will if provoked!

The campus is usually always buzzing with students and activities, and you'll find most spending their free time outside...that is when it's not freezing during the winter, but even snow and cold weather have their advantages random snowball fights!

Time spent outside is fun and all, but sometimes you have to swallow your pride and enter one of the main campus buildings. It's just one of the aggravations of being a high school student, but at least high school doesn't last forever right? Each day in these buildings means one less until graduation, and who doesn't look forward to that?

Jackson High has been a boarding school in Jacksonville for as long as the city can remember, and anyone that steps into any of these dorms can testify to that. The buildings have been around a while and all have their own hidden issues, but they city refuses to rebuild due to the character they give the school. The students don't mind though, just as much trouble can be had in old dorms plus it's alway fun trying to find hidden school secrets.

This land has been vacant for years, but this past summer work crews started to work on what would soon be Jacksonville Prep. A lot of money was put into this campus so if you ever get a chance head over. This is the newer school in Jacksonville, but it's still trying to find it's popularity against Jackson High (the staple of the community).

Some of these buildings look like they could be made in museums, but inside they're just like any other high school (that is if you school had cathedral ceilings and beautiful architecture). It's more expensive to come to this school due to the high cost of building, but claims are that it's children will graduate with the highest IQ out of the dueling boarding schools, but that could just be a bunch of lies!

The few buildings lining this schools outskirts look like mini motels, and inside the rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. You could tell most of their budget went into these, but it's not going to take long for these students to turn these buildings into disaster areas. Luckily they'll still look impressive on the outside while indoors it'll be another story!

Half the fun of going to college is checking out everything that's happening around campus, so get out of the dorm and enjoy the interaction!

Community college, it's like PPU only you don't need a dorm and you can take as few classes as you'd like. Community college is right for those not wanting to be a full time student, but still want to further their education.

If you're attending JSU (Jacksonville State University) you can stay in one of these dorms, or even an on campus apartment for those older students (must be at least third year in college)

Of course not all staff members of this school are required to live on campus, but there are those who prefer the cheap rent for the small apartments along the southern lawn. They aren't very large but are perfect for a struggling teacher or other staff member trying to get things in order. They are secluded and far enough away from the rest of the campus so privacy is no issue with these.

Having the word business associated with anything would make it sound absolutely boring, so why is it most people at least once find their way to any of these places? Because new adventures beat sitting at home anyday.

Head on down to Jacksonville Center, where all your shopping and eating needs can be met in this cozy, yet large line up of shops. There is a transit bus that picks students up at the High School throughout the day if they don't have vehicles, so there is always a way down here.

Merchants Row is just outside of the town and holds all the big department stores. It's a great place for you to park your car and shop for the day at all of the large buildings around.

Being stuck at a boarding school does have it's advantages, one being that you are free to travel the city anytime to do whatever the hell you want. Most students can be seen at any of these places just because they're the best things to do around Jacksonville (at least when you don't want to use your imagination)

The Mall is the easiest place in Jacksonville to spend money. Everything you don't need, but you sure want, can be found at all the great stores within. It's a known fact that shopping reduces stress though, so go ahead and enjoy yourself for the day!

Here are where the members businesses are going to go, so if you're looking for a characters business head over here and you should find it no problem!

Life comes at you fast and you don't always have the time to sit in a restaurant and wait to be fed, so that is why there are fast food restaurants spread out across the city. You can run in or go through drive-thru, and you've got your food in a fraction of time!

New Jersey doesn't always have the best weather, but at certain times people can't help but just flock outside to soak up whatever sun is there. If being inside doesn't interest you head to any of these spots, surely something could be satisfying.

Jacksonville isn't all glitz and glam, there are some rather dodgy areas of the city, so if you're feeling adventurous take a walk through one of these places and see what mess you can get yourself into.

Nobody stays in town forever, so go ahead and head somewhere other than Jacksonville! Have fun and enjoy your vacation!

You've seen the signs around the city, you've even driven past to catch a glimpse inside the campground, but there is no more waiting and wondering what's inside as we're opening it to the public. This is an extreme wilderness campground. That means that things can and will get dangerous, and the possibilities are endless for excitement. (More will be explained as the event gets underway).

Since Jackson High is a boarding school they like to do something special for their students, so each year (at least once) they'll pick out a fun trip and the students will have a chance to participate. Fundraising is very helpful, the more students pitch in the further the school can travel with them, but no matter where they're taken they always seem to have fun!

Throughout the course of the year there will be all sorts of events going on, so head over here whenever something new is posted to get your student/teacher involved!

Events that are not specific to the high school are going to be posted here! The ones that are here will be either specific for the adults around, or it could deal with all the members, so head over here when we announce special events for the entire community!

These sub-boards are all OOC and have nothing to do with the game itself. Here you can introduce yourself as a writer and have random discussions with the other members.

The rules state that after two weeks of inactivity your character will be removed from the game, but that will not happen if you first make a post here or PM the staff before leaving. We know that the real world trumps online time so don't feel bad for having to take a hiatus, please just post here so we don't accidentally delete your character.

Alas, it's bound to happen where a player becomes inactive and is removed from the game. Here is where all posts from players no longer here are found and kept in hopes of their writers return. Either that, or posts that we see haven't been replied too in quite some time we'll move here just to clean up the other boards!

This is the only place around here you can pimp another site, if we find it anywhere else it will be removed. Please post under the right section, failure to follow rules will result in this being locked and nobody gets to advertise. Let's make sure that doesn't happen.
