*WHATEVER IT TAKES is a short app / no wordcount boarding school RPG set in the fictional city of Jacksonville, New Jersey. Both high school students and faculty of the school are free to register, we will allow other member groups the further we get into the game. Since this is a real life game it means we are rated M (because face it, things happen and we're not going to censor you), so please make sure you are mature enough to handle whatever things happen around here, the staff feel no need to limit your character.

jackson high has gotten itself a revamp and is open and ready for business. we are currently accepting both students and faculty around this boarding school rpg, and it is safe to say that we are off to quite a strong start already. we will get things going with a bang and have an event thread before the end of this month, but for now we are going to give members time to register and get a character in on the fun.

C-BOX RULES

One. Harassment of any sort will not be accepted here. This means any hurtful comments you make towards somebody will not be tolerated, and if we see somebody abusing the cbox for harassing another member we will be forced to get rid of it.

Two. No plugging your sites in our cbox. This means just throwing a link there, and even putting the link under your name. The cbox is not there for advertising, it's there for the members to get a chance to talk without having to post, so if you want to have your site advertised go to the affiliates section.

[ ]FACE CLAIM
Here you can come to see which PB's are already claimed by other members, or go ahead and put a hold on one if you're afraid somebody else might claim them before you get a profile together. Also, under this board there is a list of PB's that are in desperate need around here, and most all come with starting SL's!

[ ]STUDENT PROFILES (4 sub-boards)
Before you are able to start roleplaying around JHS you must create a profile for your character. You don't have to wait for approval to start playing, but staff members might ask you to write more if you only give a few sentences. Remember, every member will see this profile!

[ ]ADULT PROFILES (2 sub-boards)
Before you're able to start roleplaying around JHS you're going to have to create a character profile. This board is for all of the adult profiles here, so if you're going to be around as school staff your profile should go here! No approval is needed before you start playing, but if we see that the profile needs work we'll let you know.

[ ]GAMES
Post both IC and OOC games here, but please specify so the other members do not get confused. This is also a great way to build up storylines and relationships with other characters, so don't hesitate to join in on the fun and games here!

COMMUNICATIONS,,
[ ]TEXT MESSAGES
Let's face it, these days there isn't a single teenager walking around without a cell it seems. It's a quick and easy way to keep in touch, so get ahold of other students and faculty fast by sending them a text.

[ ]INSTANT MESSENGER
Got some time to kill while you're hanging around at home? Head to your computer and see who is online to chat with, there is usually always someone hanging out looking for a cure to their boredom.

[ ]FACEBOOK
Myspace seems to be a thing of the past since Facebook became so popular, and now it seems all the people around Jackson Boarding School have one. Become friends, post on your wall, and throw up random pictures. Have fun with it!

00
[ ]BLOGSPACE
A clever named journal website. Many teens these days like to record their lives onto paper, this is just a quicker way of doing things. Invite friends and let them view your journal, make comments and post pics, go wild in your own little blogspace.

Moderator: aubrey rose jenkins

[ ]TWITTER
Facebook and Myspace are fun and all, but who doesn't like the quick tweets from their friends they can read walking through the halls between classes? Twitter is perfect for busy high school students, enough said.

00
[ ]THE X FACTOR
Mister "X" is notorious for exposing the students for the true characters they are around Jackson High. Students should not expect any sympathy from Mister "X" as he brings each name up in his posts. He has stated nobody is safe, so let the games begin!

00
CAMPUS,,
[ ]CAFETERIA
The local Cafe Cater's the food at Jackson High so you know it always has to be good. If eating inside isn't your thing there is a small section outside lined with picnic tables.

Moderator: aubrey rose jenkins
00
[ ]COURTYARD
The Courtyard is the best place to relax outside at Jackson High. Students hang out here before and after school, and usually on nice days select classes will be held out on the lawn. There are few picnic tables and benches around, and also a cement path where you can bike / skateboard / rollerblade.

Moderator: aubrey rose jenkins
00
[ ]HALLWAYS (2 sub-boards)
The halls are lined with lockers where the students put their personal belongings they don't want to carry from class to class. Most of the students hang out in the hallways during their breaks throughout the day.

[ ]LIBRARY
The library is a nice quiet place to study or escape into a great book right? Wrong, more goes on in the library than one would think. Students have been caught sneaking into the stacks to do many unmentionable things. Still there are those few that actually use the library to gain knowledge.

[ ]MAIN LOBBY
The Main Lobby is located just as you walk into the doors of the school. Not too many people hang out here a lot though since the administration offices window can see out over everything in the lobby. Guess it's a good place to hang out if you have nothing to hide...

[ ]FIELDS (1 sub-board)
There is a large amount of land devoted just to sports. We have a football field, soccer field, and a baseball diamond all behind the school. Also there is a track that surrounds the three fields for the runners.

CLASSES,,
[ ]ELECTIVES WING (3 sub-boards)
Electives can be fun because there isn't much thought put into these classes. The only class that really has any work involved is Auto Shop, and that is just because the teacher doesn't want you screwing up a car. All hands on down in the Electives wing.

[ ]ENGLISH WING (5 sub-boards)
Enrolled in an english course? Head on over to the English Wing and get to class! Teachers seem to frown on tardiness in this wing, and essays are handed out in punishment.
[Sub-boards: Advanced Lit, English 101, Journalism, Poetry 102]

00
[ ]FINE ARTS WING (4 sub-boards)
Jackson High is proud to have such an amazing fine arts program. From all the money the bands, chorus lines, and thespians have raised they made an entirely new building just for these classes. Only the gifted shall walk through the doors.
[Sub-boards: Art, Band 347, Chorus 346, Drama 110]

[ ]FOREIGN LANGUAGES WING (3 sub-boards)
Walking through this wing can be very confusing since each classroom seems to be speaking a different language. Head on down here if you're interested in learning a new language!
[Sub-boards: French, German, Spanish]

00
[ ]LIFE SKILLS WING (3 sub-boards)
It seems like there are a lot more females around in this wing than males, but mostly because you come here for cooking and sewing (though more males should join these courses). Mostly the mans are just here to take the required health course before graduation.
[Sub-boards: Cooking 102, Health, Sewing 104]

00
[ ]MATH WING (5 sub-boards)
Enrolled in a math class this semester? Then head on down this hallway and find your classroom. If you need extra help head over to the math advisory where an available teacher should be able to assist you.
[Sub-boards: Algebra 329, Foundations In Math, Geometry 327, Math Advisory, Statistics 325]

00
[ ]SCIENCE WING (5 sub-boards)
The science wing is way at the far left end of the school. Teachers are on high alert here since chemicals have been stolen from one of the classrooms. Come over here if you're enrolled in a science course.
[Sub-boards: Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Life Science]

00
HOUSING,,
[ ]STUDENT DORMS (3 sub-boards)
If you're a student you are required to spend your four high school years in a dorm room, but that doesn't mean you can't still have fun. Some of the wildest and craziest things happen in these buildings, but only the students present are the ones that know.

00
[ ]ADULT HOUSING (5 sub-boards)
Of course not all staff members of this school are required to live on campus, but there are those who prefer the cheap rent for the small apartments along the southern lawn. They aren't very large but are perfect for a struggling teacher or other staff member trying to get things in order. They are secluded and far enough away from the rest of the campus so privacy is no issue with these.

00
JACKSONVILLE,,
[ ]RESTAURANTS (6 sub-boards)
The cafeteria is closed during the summer, and most students don't like making their own meals so they rely on fast food. Sure it's not the healthiest stuff around, but it sure tastes good! Fast and satisfying, come here for all the greasy goodness.
[Sub-boards: Burger King, China Wok, KFC, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendys]

00
[ ]ENTERTAINMENT (3 sub-boards)
Being stuck at a boarding school does have it's advantages, one being that you are free to travel the city anytime to do whatever the hell you want. Most students can be seen at any of these places just because they're the best things to do around Jacksonville (at least when you don't want to use your imagination)

00
[ ]TRANSPORTATION SERVICES (5 sub-boards)
All things dealing with transportation are under this board. Whether you're looking to buy a new car, salvage one from the junkyard, or have a car that needs to get fixed this is the place to be. Either that or the bus station will bring you wherever you need to go.
[Sub-boards: Al's Junkyard, Daniels Auto Service, Jacksonville Bus Station, Poulliots' Auto Dealership, Ricardo's Car Rentals]

00
[ ]OMEGA SHOPPING CENTER (9 sub-boards)
The Mall is the easiest place in Jacksonville to spend money. Everything you don't need, but you sure want, can be found at all the great stores within. It's a known fact that shopping reduces stress though, so go ahead and enjoy yourself for the day!
[Sub-boards: Aeropostale, Hallmark Store, Hot Topic, Martha's Pretzel Wagon, Old Navy, Regal Cinemas, Sears, Spencers, The Baby Place]

[ ]JACKSONVILLE CENTER (10 sub-boards)
Head on down to Jacksonville Center, where all your shopping and eating needs can be met in this cozy, yet large line up of shops. There is a transit bus that picks students up at the High School throughout the day if they don't have vehicles, so there is always a way down here.
[Sub-boards: Best Buy, Baskin Robbins, Subway, Starbucks, Sweet Nothings, Coach, Christian Dior]

[ ]MERCHANTS ROW (4 sub-boards)
Merchants Row is just outside of the town and holds all the big department stores. It's a great place for you to park your car and shop for the day at all of the large buildings around.

[ ]GREAT OUTDOORS (2 sub-boards)
New Jersey doesn't always have the best weather, but at certain times people can't help but just flock outside to soak up whatever sun is there. If being inside doesn't interest you head to any of these spots, surely something could be satisfying.

00
[ ]BUSINESS DISTRICT (3 sub-boards)
Having the word business associated with anything would make it sound absolutely boring, so why is it most people at least once find their way to any of these places? Because new adventures beat sitting at home anyday.

00
OOC,,
[ ]CHAT (2 sub-boards)
These sub-boards are all OOC and have nothing to do with the game itself. Here you can introduce yourself as a writer and have random discussions with the other members.

11
[ ]HIATUS
The rules state that after two weeks of inactivity your character will be removed from the game, but that will not happen if you first make a post here or PM the staff before leaving. We know that the real world trumps online time so don't feel bad for having to take a hiatus, please just post here so we don't accidentally delete your character.

00
[ ]JACKSON GRAVEYARD (1 sub-board)
Alas, it's bound to happen where a player becomes inactive and is removed from the game. Here is where all posts from players no longer here are found and kept in hopes of their writers return. Either that, or posts that we see haven't been replied too in quite some time we'll move here just to clean up the other boards!

00
[ ]ADVERTISEMENTS (2 sub-boards)
This is the only place around here you can pimp another site, if we find it anywhere else it will be removed. Please post under the right section, failure to follow rules will result in this being locked and nobody gets to advertise. Let's make sure that doesn't happen.
