With the snow clearing round from the wonderful land of Jacksonville, it only meant the return of spring. And with spring, the image of flowers and butterflies appears in one's head but today, Spring decided to go on a more cooler path with some showers. The land that was once a winter white ice cube was now a shower for the plants. Showers for the students who were running away from the raindrops. Luckily, Savannah wasn't one of these students comfortably sitting by the window of the cafe. She had watched the weather report in the morning giving her the warning to stay indoor s to keep her dry while she enjoyed a muffin with a hot chocolate. Her eyes watching the drops going plitter plotters as the warmth under her hands kept her from chilling away. Her thoughts flowing with the rain as she had nothing else to do with her time. At first, Savannah was making mental post-its of what to do for today and tomorrow in terms of school work and extracurricular. She had luckily has an easy day today with teachers being nice and not assigning anything giving her sometime off.. With the rain, it added more of a free time just because she wouldn't be able to go anywhere. Unless she wanted to get wet. An option not many would make including her. She just had to stay put here. To enjoy her drink and desert. Savannah took her hot chocolate into another sip as another burst of warmth filled her up bring her more comfort to the idea of being in this cafe. Her ears of the tv had given her the advantage of getting her drink early because now, the students began to line up at the counter having the same idea as she had. It was becoming a busy day for the workers here and the table's were beginning to fill up with group of friends. The room becoming louder and louder like that of a social lounge.
Taking observation now of the environment, she has appeared to be the only one on her own. Something she didn't mind at all. It just mean more thinking time for her. Going back to her post-its of what to do. Laundry was done, cleaning was done, a new a new jacket might be in order. Maybe some shopping to do but I wasn't time pressing to go anytime soon. She let out a small sign as if time had just came to her hands. Too much time. Was she really suppose to wait for this rain to pass by with just one muffin and one hot chocolate. Now she remembered why rainy days were boring like in the child's song. It keeps you stuck in doors. Retrieving to the dormitory would just be the same result. Nothing to do bu to stare at the ceiling waiting for something. Maybe some homework would have been good today. At least it would have kept her busy. An ordinary person would have wanted to go to the old television box but tv on rainy days always seemed terrible. She buried her hand down onto the table with her arms hiding her. Appearing like a sandy blondde ball of woe.
Note: Crappy but I wanted to make a thread. :P
