(TRAVIS NOAH MICHAELS) -----------------------[/CENTER] Travis was super excited about meeting Morgan at the park. He couldn’t very well understand why this was but it probably had something to do with the fact she had two babies. Twin girls. He might have been trying to fill the most obvious void that was left behind when Evie decided to up and leave him and take Aaron with her. It wasn’t very fair since she had just cleared up the paternity issue and now she was gone again. He figured she would go back to Tennessee, where he was from, but no one had seen her so she probably chose some city far off the radar. With his luck, she probably settled herself in sunny California and already had some big macho boyfriend playing Daddy and happy family with her. The thought of this was absolutely disgusting to him and he thought her incredibly selfish for taking off like that. Travis was one of the few guys on the planet that actually cared about someone other than himself. Sure he was a manwhore in the past but seeing Aaron again had changed that and he realized the only reason why he slept around in the first place was that he was using girls to fill that very same family void. He was very far away from home and coped the only way he understood how. Although he broke a lot of hearts in the process by kicking said girls out right afterwards and not bothering to let them crash until morning he was probably only slightly more considerate nowadays. Not saying that Travis would try to act like a father figure to Morgan’s children because that was simply not his place and he didn’t want to overstep boundaries, but it’d be nice to know that feeling of having a small one around again. Plus, Travis liked his face and he didn’t want to get it punched in by the father, whoever that may be.
He closed his laptop and text Morgan after a few minutes, giving her time to deal with her babies before he bothered her again. It was nice having some kind of interaction with someone he wasn’t targeting to sleep with too. Maybe he could actually be friends with someone… for once. He had plenty of guy friends like his band mates but friends who are girls just didn’t happen. It was decided he’d meet her at the park for a picnic with her girls in the mid afternoon. He took the liberty of packing some healthy food in a basket he’d bought for Aaron for the same reason. Since Aaron wasn’t around anymore, it’d be put to good use. He didn’t have much in stock in the refrigerator so he decided to leave early in order to buy some fresh fruits from the market downtown.
It didn’t take very long for him to arrive at the park. Perhaps twenty minutes, no more. He set up their little lunch area underneath a rather large tree so that he was in plain sight so she wouldn’t be able to miss him. The fresh air felt nice and for once he was up before three pm. Things were starting to change and Travis got that pit feeling in his stomach even though he couldn’t understand that either. It was weird waiting for her to arrive with the kids. Come to think of it, he never really met someone with kids who understood what it was like to be very young with that kind of responsibilities. Perhaps they had more in common than initially thought. Sitting down on the grass, he outstretched his legs and waited to see some sight of her.

Morgan slowly shut her laptop and sighed. What was this? If anyone ever actually offered to hang out with her it was usually a joke. She would dress up all nice and go to where the person said they'd meet her and nobody would arrive. Then for the next month in school people would tease her and make fun of how stupid she was and how nobody really wanted to see her. Then again that was when she was in school, and then again she was very pregnant back then. But if she went back now she could show off her beautiful babies. She walked over and looked in the crib. Both of the babies sat there with tear-filled eyes and red cheeks. A sure sign they were awake from their nap. Morgan picked them up, one at a time, and changed them. She lay down a blanket in the living room and let the babies roll around for a bit. This was Morgans current life. She sat on the couch and watched her babies grow. It seemed slow and boring in that moment but she'd pause and think back in the day when they couldn't even move. When she was just barely showing and still with Robert, their dad.
Morgan sighed and mindlessly sat on the couch until she finally got a text. In a way, she was surprised. Morgan didn't usually get any further interest after a two-faced interaction online. She texted a bit and finally they had decided to meet that day. The next thing the teenage mother knew was that she was scrambling around the house trying to find something for her and her babies to wear. She didn't even know if it was nice outside. She stepped out for a moment, spun around slowly, and walked back in. Okay it was hot out. She grabbed the first matching spring dresses she found, dressed herself in something simple but cool, dressed the babies and readied two bottles. After putting on very little makeup, Morgan was out the door with the twins strapped in their double stroller. Both babies had their pacifiers and Maria was almost asleep again. Morgan didn't get in her car or hail a cab. It was so nice out she just walked.
The whole walk there she felt nervous about taking the babies with her. What if this guy was some freak? What if he was planning on stealing her babies? She decided to keep them behind her and away from him until she knew he was trustworthy. If he was even there. Then she began wondering. Did she look alright? Was this a date? Why did this guy want to hang out? She realized she was looking around a lot. She was surprised to see not many people were out even though the sun was shining. Morgan finally relaxed a bit, and smiled, when she saw he was actually there. What were the odds? Morgan walked over and waved a little, a bit too shy to talk. She glanced at the babies who both had fallen asleep before she sat down. "Hi..." She kept smiling, sitting down in front of him and in front of the stroller.

Travis waited for Morgan in silent thought. He hoped that she wouldn’t chicken out and stand him up. Sometimes mature guys were intimidating to girls but he wouldn’t exactly call himself mature. For example, he liked to party too much and drink excessively but he knew when to grow up and stop his crap. There was a time and a place for fun and some situations called for seriousness. Now that Aaron was no longer in his life, he was having a hard time adjusting and going back to his party lifestyle. He was grieving his losses and just didn’t really feel much like partying; only drinking his troubles away, which wasn’t very healthy or effective at all. Maybe he was really starting to grow up but he doubted that, he just didn’t understand why he didn’t feel like being as much of a whore anymore. His reputation had been so notorious and now he felt incredibly average. There weren’t any exceptional qualities and he felt as if he was beginning to lose everything that made him Travis. Careless, reckless Travis who would do anything to make others laugh. This change in him wasn’t something he enjoyed at all.
He had invited Morgan out for several reasons. One being that he was just lonely and wanted someone to distract him, the babies would certainly do that. Another was that he figured she could use some interaction since she was a single mother and he could understand how hard it might be for her to get the attention of a guy. She probably wasn’t looking to date right now but he figured there was nothing wrong with meeting up for the afternoon to show her there were people that understood her troubles. She might not believe it but there were guys who absolutely wouldn’t mind dating a girl with kids, it would take a while of searching but it would be worth it.
As she approached him, he couldn’t help but to smirk, he didn’t know what it was about pregnant girls or girls with children that made him happy. But almost immediately, his mood picked up a bit. Her shyness was adorable and she was gorgeous so he really couldn’t understand why her ex boyfriend had let her go. It was none of his business but he supposed that it could be used for both of their gain. Hey! he greeted a bit more enthusiastic than he had mean to come out. Someone looks pretty. Travis couldn’t help himself really. His eyes looked to her and then her babies who were equal in beauty as their mother. He didn’t press to hold them or anything, perhaps another time when they knew each other better and both were more comfortable. Travis didn’t want her to think he was a creeper or using her for her children.I bought some stuff from the market I hope you like organic, gluten free stuff. Opening the basket he began empting its contents, of which contained a few different wraps, salads, and fruits. So how are they treating you today?
