"Shutup Lexi! Hope rolled her eyes. She glared. "And don't tell me to watch my language! It only pisses me off!" Hope yelled. "Lexi please don't rain on my parade tonight! I just wanna have a fucking good time!" She screamed. She looked at Alexi. Please..."
Hope was quiet the rest of the way. She was hoping the silence would let Lexi know she was serious. As soon as they arrived, Hope went to get a drink. She drug Alexi right behind her. Hope downed her first drink. She looked at Alexi. "Say one word to Daddy and you're dead!" She smiled. "Woo!" Hope yelled. "I'm ready for round 2!" She downed the 2nd drink. She looked at Lexi. "Get me another drink and meet me over there. I wanna have some fun real quick."

The mask on his face smelled musty and old. So why was he even walking down to this party? He spent his entire time in the states trying not to be seen, trying to stay out of the area which would get him noticed. But he couldn't help it. Loki stood straight, his bare chest feeling the cool Winter breeze. He enjoyed Mardi Gras. Sometimes, before his brother flipped on him, they would go together to France and celebrate. But they wouldn't do it in the ordinary fashion; purple, green, yellow. It would be their own anti Mardi Gras. Going back to the deeper and more darker roots of the holiday. The bottle of mixed vodka that clung to his hips, knocked on his side several times, tempting him to drink more. But he didn't want to be completely drunk before the party even began. He lifted a heavy boot off the ground and then replaced it with another. He was so close, he could hear the music and laughter. The teen smirked, the cold wind tussling his hair about.
Loki readjusted the mask on his face, being sure no one would recognize him. It was still uncertain why he didn't want people to know. Maybe it was because secretly he wanted to talk to people the way normal people would talk, but it was hard because he hated people so much. But on this day, the day of his ancestors, he would forget about his hatred for them. In a blink of an eye he was among them. His blue eyes scanned every face, every mask. Loki's blood was still circulating the GHB he popped an hour or two ago. He felt more powerful with that one. Raising his cape, he took a quick swing of the vodka, eyes still scanning the room for a familiar face. But they were starting to blur, the GHB was finally doing it job. He spun on his heel and smirked behind the raven mask that laid on his face. So who wanted some?

Cadie rushed about her dorm, getting ready for the Mardi Gras party. She was meeting Charlie and friends outside Babylon. She was excited. She wouldn’t be flashing, she had her own beads and were happy with them. She walked into her bathroom, grabbing her eye shadow from the shelf. She had managed to get Axel to go, when knowing him, had he not gone, he would be in his dorm having kinky sex with whomever. She was excited to introduce them to Charlie and her other friends, them being Axel and Damon. She knew of his kink, she was surprised, but it didn’t’ faze her one single bit They had met when she stumbled into Babylon at one point about three months back, they clicked instantly. She raked a hand through her hair, sighing she would let her hair fall down her back. The teal and black locks soft and silky to the touch. She looked down at her dress, yes an actual dress. Shocking yea? Cadie hated dresses with a passion. She tolerated this one because it was corseted. Pulling on the fishnets she finished getting dressed and was out the door. Closing the door behind her, wincing as it slammed. Shrugging a bare shoulder, she quickly but carefully navigated her way down the stairs.
Her heels clicking on the sidewalk with every single step she took, the closer and closer she got, the more crazy the people in the streets got, she could see beads flying everywhere, people flashing, she cocked a brow not impressed. She seriously wondered why people had to flash their breasts to get beads. She shook her head. She probably wouldn’t be getting drunk. While she was in remission, she wasn’t going to go fucking crazy because she was off her meds. Cadie took her time, maybe wasn’t her smartest moves. Someone grabbed her shoulder, she tensed up, snapping her green eyes upwards ”Ohhh whats weeeeeeez got hereeeeeees? A purdy wittleeeeeeeeeeeeeeee girl” the clearly drunken college student pressed up against her, wrapping an arm around her waist. She glared, stomping her heel onto the drunks foot, then jamming her elbow upwards, slamming it into the guys nose, feeling rather pleased with the ‘crunch’ she heard. The guy groaned, unwrapping his arm from around her waist. ”Leave me the fuck alone.” she growled striding away. She glanced over her shoulder seeing the drunk clutching his nose. She scowled and continued on her way.
She took a few deep breaths, running a hand through her duo colored locks. Now she was just watching everything, taking in her surroundings. Was easier to say, she was more jumpy. She continued down the path, almost walked right by Charlie, Artemis, Xav and Jack. She paused, turning around. ”Gosh I almost walked right by you guys. You all look absolutely amazing!” she said one by one pulling them each into a hug but still glancing over her shoulder warily, getting that feeling of being watched. She inwardly shrugged her shoulders, thinking that maybe she was just being paranoid. ”We waiting for anyone else?” she asked fiddling with the beads she around her neck.

until this empty place is filled, i'll keep pretending hey! wait! knock me down, and i'll get up again- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mardi Gras. The two words had a universal understanding, and Evangeline Feclone was one girl you would never expect to want to attend anything to do with it. Most girls were known to flash boobs for beads, and if you weren't drunk you seriously weren't fitting in. Evie didn't know what she would do at the big celebration, but she knew one thing for sure: this was going to be a night to remember, well, maybe. As she and her friend Becky were getting ready Evie's mind was racing with all sorts of different thoughts. She knew that she wouldn't be flashing anyone, but she did want to drink alcohol. Evie had never really gotten drunk, or wasted, if you liked to call it. She'd only had a few drinks now and then, but nothing too hardcore. She's never drank whisky or gin or things that she considered "hard liquor." Tonight would be a different story though. She had been researching Mardi Gras for a few days and knew what drinks she would be sucking down all night. Evie needed to get her hands on some kind of drinks called a Hurricane and a Grenade. They were New Orleans speciality drinks, and Mardi Gras was Mardi Gras so it seemed typical they'd have them at any festivities. She just hoped that Becky would be on the same page as her, but she didn't want to bring it up right now.
Evie could hear Becky talking from the other room about her brother going out tonight. She laughed, wondering how funny it would be if they ran into him doing something crazy or inappropriate. What if they ran into him completely wasted...or vice versa? The nights events seemed to have no end of different transpiring events. There were just so many different things that could happen, and trying to think of all of them was beginning to make Evie's head hurt. She bit the inside of her cheek, telling herself just to calm down, have a good time, and let things happen the way they're meant to. She nodded to herself in the bathroom mirror, resolved of all thoughts of how the night would go, and began to apply her mascara. She almost poked her eye out when she heard Becky say who her brother might be with. Chris...was it the Chris? Her stupid crush only got worse now that she knew Chris knew who she was. Evie felt like a third-grader, the way her stomach got butterflies, but at the same time she felt like the feelings were just sour. Evie knew Chris had a girlfriend, and she was just wasting her time, but there were no other cute guys to focus on. She sighed and tapped the mascara bottle against the sink in thought.
Tonight she could change that. There were going to be plenty of guys out, and someone has to be attractive! That was her goal, she decided it. Tonight Evie would get drunk, and find a hot guy. Hell, why not add a makeout session on top of it? It was highly un-Evie like, and her brother would probably end up killing her, but she didn't care. She could just blame it on the alcohol.
"Do you really want to run into your brother Beck? It could be traumatizing or something," she giggled at the end of it, but knew they would find them one way or another. If there was a chance that Becky could run into Emeri, they would be on a hunt until they found them. Unlike Evie's crush on Chris, Becky's was more obvious. It was cute though, and Becky actually had more of a chance than Evie ever did. "Actually, we might want to run into them. Blackmail baby!"
Evie laughed heartedly and finished putting the finishing touches on her make-up, stepped back, and admired herself in the mirror. Her eyes were definitely the main attraction. She made sure they'd stand out even when wearing a mask, and the slant to them made them even more alluring. Evie was proud of her work, and even dared to say that she looked really good tonight. Hopefully she wouldn't be the only one to take notice, and possibly the male gender would notice at least something.
"Okay, I think I'm ready!" Evie came into the main room, did a twirl and picked up her shoes from beside a vanity. "You look amazing! Boy, are we going to break some hearts tonight." Evie felt giddy inside with all the excitement, and fun that awaited she and Becky. The night was only just beginning and she aleady felt on cloud nine. Maybe it was just the fact that so many things could happen, and Evie was more than ready to get them underway.
After lacing up her heels Evie grabbed her clutch and exited the dorm with Becky. She did a little skip down the hallway and outside. "I am sooo ready for tonight! Please tell me you're going to drink a little something? I could already use a drink, I feel like my heart is going to come out of my chest!" She grinned and leaned on Becky and put an arm around her shoulders and squeezed them tightly. Evie couldn't actually remember the last time she was so excited about something, which could be seen as sort of sad, but she didn't care.
Soon enough they were in town and in the midst of things, it didn't take them longer than two minutes to be approached by some guy who whispered something into Becky's ear. She raised her eyebrows, knowing the whisper was probably not "sweet nothings" or anything romantic. Her thoughts were thus confirmed by Becky's shocked face. First offer for beads, this was going to be a long night.
"Please tell me you knew that?" It was going to be a longer night if Becky had no idea what was in store for her. She giggled and ran a hand though her hair. "I definitely wouldn't do it when I can just pick some up off the ground. People throw these things everywhere" Evie pointed to a few spots on the concrete of discarded beads. She picked up a few strands nearby, and put some on herself and Becky. "There, now we look like we belong. Sort of I guess," she shruged and walked on with Becky into a karoke bar where the sight before her left Evie bursting out in laughter. Becky's brother was on stage with some girl that Becky couldn't stand. Blackmail indeed.
"Well, I'm sure he has a good explanation for this I'm sure. I believe a little alkie could be the answer!" She patted Becky on the arm lightly. "We'll still have an awesome time though! We can talk to boys and make some new friends, look there is a ton of people here!"

As Jake awkwardly stood at the door, he twisted around at the waist and looked around. It seemed like Syd and he weren't the only ones going. A few students from the school stood around in groups, most were dressed up. Jake felt old just looking around. Everyone was young. He felt like he was taking his kid or something. A sigh left him and he rubbed the back of his neck. But in that moment, Jake decided not to be down today. He didn't want to let Syd down. This was apparently his first Mardi Gras, so why should Jake be responsible of ruining the day for the boy? Jake let in a deep breath, and as he let it out, the door in front of him opened. Jake blinked a couple of times, looking down at the mask in Syd's hands and gently taking it. The way Syd talked was just... precious. Jake loved it. He siled softly and lifted the mask to examine it. "I do like it. You made this?" He looked at Syd with puppy eyes, smiling a little. "It's very nice..." He stared at it a moment.
One thing Jake didn't want to do was put on a mask. But it would make Syd happy. And that's why he was doing this, right? This kid shouldn't be learning things in life alone. Especially with how... not... street smart he was. Jake very slowly put the mask on and firmed his lips together, dropping his hands to his sides and nodding once slowly. "Alright. Let's go." He took the boys hand and began walking down the sidewalk. Jake wondered if holding the boys' hand was too much. They probably looked like a father and son walking down the street with how much shorter and younger looking Syd was. Jake's thoughts didn't sway his expression though. He just stared ahead, like this was nothing. As they walked close to the actual party, the little groups began to turn into larger crowds until finally, they were in the midst of movement and loud talking and the smell of deep fried foods. Jake didn't want to let go of Syd's hand now. He didn't want to lose Syd and end up being alone the rest of the night. Jake looked around. Luckily, his height was helpful. "uh... what do you want to do??" Jake lowered his head closer to Syd's as he spoke so the boy could hear him over the crowd and music.

Kayla had to laugh at that comment. It was just way too funny not to. She knew it was mean but still...whatever. I bet they would get a hooker just to get laid she smirked. Okay that was really mean but sadly, it was probably true. Guys like that didn’t land girls well, especially since they acted the way they did, so unattractive. She didn’t know why they couldn’t just be cool, but whatever. It was just something that she didn’t really understand. Kayla was never going to be the brains of the family, that was her sisters job, she went more with the flow and wasn’t as obsessed with getting good grades. She then looked at Bree, she had noticed that her friend had been spacing out a little bit a few times, and was glad that she could keep her focus by talking. Well it helped anyway...all in all she was glad that she could be there with her bestie anyway and that for once she could be forgetting the dramas, she knew that she needed something like this and hoped it would be okay, though Bree was drunk and she knew at some point she would be too and they would get up to something crazy no doubt.
She looked at Bree and nodded in agreement. She wasn’t going to argue, though Aidan had treated her badly last year they were okay now, but it had still happened and she couldn’t change that. What Bree was saying was true. Maybe not to all guys but most of them. I am afraid I have to agree with you. Most are just after one thing....you know they think of sex every six seconds right? she laughed at some dumb fact she had read in some magazine Kaitlyn had lying around. Apparently they do anyway she smiled. I do...somewhat..in a way.....yes...I think she nodded, a little confused, and by what she said in return that would make her friend confused too probably. In a way she did know what she meant but it was confusing. Bree was just all over the place, which she couldn’t blame her for. They take over our lives and then bitch when we have one night out with our friends she said. She wasn’t actually referring to Aidan, weirdly she was referring to her ex. Oh my god how lame was.... she clicked her fingers trying to remember his name. Ew....let’s just call him ew....my track record for guys is shameful. she then shook her head. See why are we still talking about them? she sighed. She could see what Bree was saying, it was more or less true, and it was sad that the two girls had the same opinion, she knew Aidan was no saint by any standards, but he was sorry and the less she thought about last year the better.
Kayla burst out laughing Okay, well I can’t argue with you there she said. But I was just....well you know... she said with a small smile. Three? she looked at her confused, she was sure Bree had only been with two guys. She could have asked if something had happened with her and Preston, but she wasn’t going to, there was no need because it was just something she wouldn’t get into. The less said about the guys I have been with the better she smiled at her and laughed. At least you can count on one hand though, that is a really good thing she told her honestly and looked a little sad. She regretted how she had been back then, and was glad she hadn’t gone that way when the whole thing with Aidan had occurred, she had been young when ‘ethan’ left her though. She then noticed her doing the finger thing, then mentioning ‘Darius’ Kayla tilted her head to the side Darius? As in Derek? she asked her curiously. She knew that the two had hung out a lot, but she didn’t know what she was going on about with that, she kind of shrugged it off, confused but she wouldn’t get into it now, she might ask about it later, or maybe Bree would tell her. Either way she knew it would come out eventually because secrets didn’t stay secrets long between friends, and especially when Bree was drunk, she wouldn’t push it though.
Kayla nodded when Bree said she was too good for all of them, I couldn’t agree more she said to her. Putting an arm round her so it would be easier for her to keep her balance. She then laughed as she then shuushed it was rather amusing. She didn’t really know who it was too though, but since it was so noisy no one even noticed. When Bree laughed at the raspberry, she could not help but smile, well she knew that it would be funny, and it was suppose to be, so it was all good. She heard Bree whisper in her ear and laughed again. She then grabbed a drink from the bar and downed it. She knew that was bad, since it could have anything in it, but she was thirsty. She looked over to where Bree was looking and gave a smile and small wave at Dorian. You mean Dorian right? she smiled. We give him the name him though if you like she laughed at her friend, all light hearted of course. How much you wanna bet we’ll end up doing something totally crazy by the end of the night? she asked Bree. She knew that a lot of their nights out had ended on a crazy note, but she liked that, it was better than going out and then coming home, nothing exciting happening. She always had a good time with Bree, there was no denying that and tonight was going to be yet another night of fun for the two of them, even she was now feeling the effect of the alcohol more, and at the beginning of the evening she had said to herself that she wouldn’t drink much, yes she had the odd drink, but it hadn’t taken her much to make her want to get drunk.
She looked round the crowd and saw Gary on the balcony and watched him throw a bunch of beads into a crowd of girls who had just flashed him, she rolled her eyes slightly and when he called their names she laughed and waved at him. Where is Gary? she pouted slightly and the turned her attention to the girl who had just asked who she was and laughed. Oh I’m Aubrey and this is Kayla....no wait....I am Kayla and this is Aubrey... she said with a nod. Yeah....we won’t bite, honest she smiled. We are totally awesome, right Bree? she said causually flinging an arm round her best friend. As awesome as awesome can be she nodded. oh....yeah sorry how rude of me, how are you guys....what are your names?

With no major authority around, Will took advantage of the Mardi Gras. He had smashed himself in the middle of the chaotic crowd and lost his shirt. Who knows where that thing went. Will didn't care. Shirts were like nothing to him. He had his focus on the alcohol. And Will was a light weight. He had ended up with multiple bead necklaces and bracelets, three masks hanging by their rubber bands over his neck and a beer in each hand. Though in the back of his head he was hoping he'd find Cadie to stop him. You see, Will has poor self control. And he gives into peer pressure like no other. Because of this, he became the center of attention of quite a few girls he didn't know. And since he had alcohol they must have thought he was old enough because they weren't being shy with him. Even though he was having fun, he wanted Cadie to be with him. Will had been busy lately and didn't see her as often as he'd like. It was starting to take his toll. He started to think about her more than anything else.
Luckily, before things got too out of control, Will caught site of Cadie hugging somewhat familiar faces. They were the people she hung around. And if she was okay with them, so was Will. He dropped the two empty bottles into a trash can and walked over, stumbling a tiny bit. "Cadie!" He yelled, even if she was only a few feet away. He didn't stop walking, he didn't even look at any of her friends. Her just wrapped his arms around her and pressed loud drunken kisses on her forehead and cheeks and on her nose. "I was hoping I'd find you!" He laughed. His hair was a mess and he no doubt smelled like alcohol. But he wasn't really smashed. He was just tipsy, and Will being tipsy made him act like he was smashed.
notes;; hahaha drunk will = funny stuff. credit;; I made this.

"Suddenly Seymour" ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ The teen's face lit up and he looked down, hiding behind his long hair. "Oh really... yeah... I made it." He clasped his hands together. "He likes it? Really?
Syd thought to himself. He had worked really hard on the two masks and it made him even more so happy that Jake liked his mask. Even if he was lying, Syd wouldn't have known. His mind was wrapped around the fact that he made something for him and he accepted it! He really didn't think Jake wouldn't take it, it wasn't in his nature. But what did Syd know about Jake? Let alone his nature? He straighten out Jakes mask and smiled, "Ok!" he exclaimed, placing the dorm keys in his pocket. Holding Jake's hand was a little bit awkward. Then again everything with Syd was just plain awkward. There was so much warmth in Jake's hand, he couldn't help but blush again. It's not like their fingers were intertwined or anything like that.. but it was still... no. It wasn't awkward. It was nice, really really nice. He looked at their hands for awhile. It felt like a dream, a dream he didn't want to wake up from. "Uhm.... Syd thought. What did he want to do? As he was thinking his stomach growled. He was working on those mask all day that he forgot to eat. He smiled, a little embarrassed, "Could we get something sweet? I'm a little bit hungry... He then thought again... The world seemed completely out of balance nothing was staying in one place, people were rushing past in blurs of color and their faces were all misshapen from the masks they were using to hide themselves with. Mardi Gras was an excuse for people to hide who they were and be able to get drunk so they could blame they’re behavior on the alcohol, not to mention the countless women who were throwing their morals out the window just to get some colorful beads. Swaying to and fro in the crowd of people Derek steadied himself as his eyes darted around taking it all in his now intoxicated state, he hazel eyes not lingering in anyone place to long. Narrowing them as his head came to a halt in the direction of the brunette next to him drinking the amber beer from the cup he was palming, his eyebrows rose up as he watched his head tilt back his eyes close as he drained the glass of the liquid leaving the frothiness to descend back to the bottom of the glass. ”You aren’t thirsty are you Marx? Save some for the sober people.” His eyes lingered on the male as the corners of his lips started to twist up into a smirk, but his attention faltered to swaying hips of a woman who managed to disappear into the crowd before he could really take her in; from what he saw he might chase after her. ”Remember the game plan boys…” His hand rose up from his side in a clenched fist, his index finger breaking free; his eyes darting between the two males he was with, and lingering on the younger of the two. ”…get drunk…well we two I mean...” His extended finger waggled back and forth between him and Grayson but his eyes were now fixated on the half full glass that was in the younger boy’s hand; neither Grayson nor himself having revealed the true contents of the glass to him. His middle finger broke free as his tongue shot from his mouth and ran over his lips, ”…and get Brassini a girl for the night.”
His hand rose up in the air before his fingers were combing back his messy locks, eyes filtering from women to women as he looked them over; getting Mikey a girl might be a part of the plan but as his eyes wandered over the scantily clad bodies he couldn’t help but lick his lips in hunger, looking at his prey and ready to pounce to benefit himself. He released a heavy sigh as the glass near his side rose towards his face, he placed his lips on the rim and let the frothy topaz liquid cascade into his mouth and swallowed it down with easy as his hand palming the glass returned to his side. His eyelids started to droop as they hung heavy the affects getting worse and worse by the minute, but that would happen if you’d been here as long as the trio had consuming alcohol. Turning his head reluctantly from a gaggle of drunken girls who had just raised up their shirts his eyes fell on the innocent, his body shaking slightly as he emitted a low chuckle before his eyes continued on their path before locking onto the blue eyed brunette who had a glass filled to the glass with the same amber liquid as before. ”Marx you think Brassini is enjoying his water?”
Extending out his free hand he let it drop onto the younger boys shoulder and tugged him closer without letting their bodies collide, his eyes were trained on innocent blonde who looked out of place amongst all the chaos around her. The corners of his mouth twitched but as soon as the traces of a smile were visible it had vanished, ”And we have ourselves a winner. Little Mouse.” His glass rose up into the air and as the topaz liquid sloshed around inside, threatening to spill over the rim, his index finger extended out and pointed through the crowd at the lone girl. Abigail Collins. He knew next to nothing about the girl except she always looked ripe for the picking with her child like mannerisms and he’d been tempted to corner her on more than one occasion; but he did enjoy a challenge and she didn’t seem much of one in his book. ”Don’t bitch out now go ask her to dance or something.” He started to push in in the direction before his grip loosened on the boy’s shoulder before releasing him all together to go off and try to talk to this girl. His glass rose up to his lips and as he took another sip his hazel eyes remained locked on the back of the younger male, he felt like he was sending out to be eaten by the wolves with how many people he’d need to get through to reach her. Gulping back the mouthful of beer in his mouth his head swiveled in Grayson’s direction, ”I believe I might have just sent him out to be executed.”

Hope walked to the center of the room. She needed to have her own party in the middle of this party. She wanted to kiss tons of guys and get away with it. She looked around. She couldn't see Alexi which was good. She wanted her drink though. Hope scanned the room. She needed a victim. Just one guy. A guy that was hot and looked like a bad ass. Someone Alexi would hate. But first she needed another drink. A really strong one. She walked towards the bar, avoiding Alexi. She ordered to shots of the strongest thing they had.
Getting the drinks she downed both of them. Hope smiled and looked back at the crowd. It was then she noticed the guy she wanted. Bleach blonde hair and blue eyes. She smiled as he smirked. She was gonna get this guy. She walked towards him. "Nice cape." She yelled above the music. She smiled at him. "What you drinking?"

Alexi looked at Hope. "Whatever Hope. You know what?" Alexi turned to her. "You were always good at being a bitch." Lexi rolled her eyes. "But you're right. I'm not gonna rain on your parade tonight. Don't worry. And we're not gonna fuss because this is so stupid."
Lexi was glad that Hope shut up. She was so over her and her attitude. She watched Hope down the drink. As Hope flipped out, she rolled her eyes. "Lord girl, calm down. I won't tell Dad that his precious princess is an alcoholic." Alexi laughed. She looked at Hope as she ordered her to get her another drink and walked away. "I'm gonna need a drink being with you all night." She shook her head and ordered a drink. She looked at the drink. One drink wouldn't hurt. She picked up the drink and looked at it. "Well...bottom's up." Lexi took the drink to the head. She coughed a bit. "God that is so strong!" She saw Hope walk up to the bar out the corner of her eye. She knew she was avoiding her. But frankly she didn't care. She was going to let Hope do her thing and Alexi was gonna go about her business. She ordered another drink.

Chris had thought he may as well go to mardi gras. Timmy had told him he should go and have fun, so he finally agreed after some persuasion. He had been a little down since Kait took her internship because he wanted her back. He was way too whipped for a high school kid, but it seemed Carter and Timmy were just as loved up. He felt bad for Em since he wasn’t with anyone but he kind of figured he was okay with it. He didn’t know whether Emeri would go tonight but he’d told him he should turn up if he wanted to. So now Chris was there he was looking around at the various outfits and all the girls. Some of them wearing next to nothing, and surprisingly he didn’t love it all that much. He kind of just wanted to see Kait, he had been thinking of going to New York to surprise her but he didn’t know her schedule, and if it was going to be a surprise then he couldn’t be asking about it, and he really doubted that Kayla would tell him about her sisters schedule since she still wasn’t really keen on him.
A group of girls who had obviously been drinking came up to him and tried to make him a deal. They were all very beautiful...but for one thing he didn’t actually have any beads...and another he didn’t really want to do it. They muttered something about him being gay and huffed off, Chris laughing it off, thinking that it was just stupid that they had called him that just because he didn’t want to see their ‘asets’ He kept looking around to see if he could actually see someone he knew, since he had somehow lost Tim. Chris had been drinking but not nearly as much as his friend. Maybe he could have kept a better eye on him, but he had been with Carter too and he’d gone off to the toilet...or the ‘loo’ as he called it and then he had lost them. Maybe Carter had done it on purpose, but he didn’t mind all that much. He went to the bar and got a drink, smiling at the girl already there looking kind of pissed off. He could have asked what was up with her, and he would, but he wanted to have some of his drink first.
In the distance he saw Kayla and Bree, two girls he would most definitely be avoiding tonight. He didn’t like to be remembered that he’d kissed Bree, and Kayla just didn’t like him anyway. Even though it was him who had initiated the kiss, it still happened and it had been Bree involved too, but whatever, she hadn’t been bitchy with him recently, just avoided him so it worked better than her throwing abuse at her. He swigged his bottle down quickly and ordered another one. He held it up to the other girl and smiled Cheers he said. He wasn’t really looking to start a conversation but his mind was not controlling him right now, and before he knew it he was asking why she looked so cross. So why you looking so pissed off? he asked her with a shrug. He took another swig of his beer and looked straight at her with a stupid drunken grin. He’d drunk quite a lot now, and there was no way he would be able to find the other guys now so he would just stick around the bar and get even more wasted, while he thought about Kait.

Becky shook her head when Evie asked if she really wanted to run into her brother no, not really, but it would be funny....kinda she then shook her head. On second thought, it really wouldn’t be funny she said. Running into Timmy if she would be soba would be fine, but he would likely have something to say if she had been drinking. Yeah, but if I try blackmail him...he can just do the same to me she said to him. I think he is working out I am not all that innocent...well that I am growing up she said. I still think I am more innocent than a lot of people our age. I guess that is a bad thing but he loves it she sighed. I don’t think he could deal with having a pretty badass sister who was always getting into trouble, it would give him too much stress and he would probably have a heart attack or something she laughed slightly, though it wasn’t funny that her brother would have a heart attack...it was funny that he got so wound up about her being a ‘rebel’ I kidded around with him the other day and he got so weird she said.
She smiled when Evie said she was ready and then got up. She blushed when her friend said she looked amazing. Although she’d been told that before she still blushed when she heard it, she wasn’t the type at all to say she agreed with her because Becky wasn’t the really confident type. She did enjoy hearing it of course though, didn’t any girl like hearing that she looked good? thank you she smiled. I wasn’t that sure what to wear to this thing but I found this dress and thought it was really cute she smiled. Then she shook her head I don’t know about breaking hearts, I’ve usually been the one getting hurt when it comes to guys she said. Maybe tonight would be different though she shrugged. Becky hadn’t really ever gone to a proper high school party, never mind a Mardi Gras party, but she wasn’t going to announce that and make herself look like a freak. She never was much of a party girl and she couldn’t see herself ever being really wild and partying, but she did want to get drunk tonight, it seemed like the thing to do, well so she had heard.
Yes I am totally up for having a drink she smiled from what I hear it is going to be hard to avoid not drinking she giggled. Plus it will be good to actually get out, I am actually really excited about this. For someone like Becky, going to an event like this was not a regular occurrence, and so she was going to make the most of it right now and live it up, hoping that she would not run into her brother and have her mood crash down. That would put a downer on things. Maybe he would be a little bit looser if he was drunk though, he knew her brother was usually pretty laid back, but he was just very overprotective, he knew that was a good thing that he looked out for her, but in another sense she didn’t like it because he could be too over the top at times but she had gotten used to it kind of, now that they were both living away from home they needed to look out for each other, so it wasn’t just Timmy being protective. Of course Timmy was still more protective because she was his little sister. As they walked she linked arms with Evie, smiling happily.
I had heard of it she said I didn’t actually think it was a serious thing! she laughed and watched her friend pick some beads off the floor and put one of them around Becky’s neck. She held them in her hands and looked at them, they were very pretty. She liked them. Why people would do all that for some beads she didn’t understand though. They are pretty, but they aren’t like, amazing or anything...I don’t really understand why girls would do that for them she gestured over to two girls lifting their tops up. it seems stupid to me she shrugged. But yeah, at least we look like we belong now she smiled. When Evie said something about ‘alkie’ she looked at her confused. alkie?....oh you mean alcohol she laughed, at least she got it in the end, she really was too innocent and naive for her own good sometimes. But yeah, maybe there is a good explaination, it still makes no sense because they hate each other! she said still confused. But yes we can meet some new people...hopefully anyway.

Fashionably late was one thing, but this was getting ridiculous. Jay had simply lost track of time while either getting ready or getting his pregame party on with some random girl he had met the night before. Melina or was it Melissa? Melina sounded right, but either way it didn’t matter, Jay wasn’t ever going to see her again. Her family had been here for some sort of vacation or something of that nature. He hadn’t really paid much attention to what the brunette had been saying when she had explained it all. Why she was in Jacksonville was inconsequential, what they did while she was with Jay was all that he cared about. He hadn’t gone out the night before looking for anyone or anything, just was going out to get a few drinks and there she was standing at the bar with her Cosmopolitan in hand. Naturally Jay had bought her a round which turned into conversation, which turned into a wild night at the Hilton. He couldn’t think of a better way to kick off Mardi Gras. After calling his driver to go to the dorm and pick up his things, Jay said his goodbye’s to the girl with no pretenses that he would see her again or call her. Why lie? She didn’t put up much of a fuss, though he could see it in her chocolate eyes that she felt used and maybe she had, but there was no reason for her to have given it out so easily with someone she had met in a bar. Taking another sip of champagne, Jay buttoned up his shirt, looking at himself in the mirror. His blue eyes approving of the reflection staring back at him, everything was in order. While Jay was all about the partying for Mardi Gras he wasn’t necessarily into getting dressed up in crazy outfits just to get his drink on. He did get a mask for the occasion, but wearing it over his face, that wasn’t happening.
Grabbing his things, Jay headed out of the room and down to the lobby where he found his driver waiting by the car for him. Handing the other male his things without so much as a word, Jay slid into the backseat of the town car, pouring himself another glass of champagne. The party wasn’t that far and while he could have walked there, Jay wasn’t going to waste his energy on that, he was saving it for the partying he planned on doing all night. As the car drive down the streets of Jacksonville, the blonde male sipped on his champagne, watching the other party goers making their way in the same direction, their costumes just a sea of flashing colors. He couldn’t wait to arrive, to join the other members of the baseball team. Jay knew that Gary had gotten an endless supply of beads to rain down on the crowds which coupled with the alcohol and half naked women would make the night absolutely flawless. As the town car stopped in front of the barricade that stopped traffic from entering the street, Jay downed what remained in his glass before grabbing the bottle and his mask. Nodding at his driver as he stepped out of the car, Jay again said nothing to the male, walking off into the crowd of drunk people. Everyone was loud and stumbling around, something he fully planned to participate in soon enough.
Walking towards the building he knew the baseball team would be at, Jay pushed his way through the masked people. His blue eyes caught sight of a group of girls lifting up their shirts exposing themselves to the balcony above them. Jay let out a laugh as he looked up to see Gary and the guys. All those beads were working their magic and the night was still young. Entering the building, Jay carefully placed his glass bottle down onto the steps, pulling the elastic of his mask out so he could slide it over his blonde mane of hair, placing it on top of his head. He just didn’t have it in him to cover his face, besides he wouldn’t have been able to drink had it been there anyway. Picking the bottle back up, Jay downed half of the bottle before making his way up the stairs to the balcony. As he stepped through the doorway, he heard Gary’s voice yell out KAYLA!! AUBREY!! Jay pushed past some of the guys, peeking out over the balcony to see two masked ladies. He wasn’t quite sure Gary had gotten it right. Breaking his gaze from the girls below, his blue eyes focused on his best friend. ”Sorry I’m late man, but you know how it is. Last night I went out, met this girl and well she was offering.” Jay smirked at the thought. Downing the rest of his champagne, Jay was beginning to feel the effects of the alcohol, his head feeling light and airy. He looked around the balcony to see the buckets of beads and countless number of bottles of alcohol. A smirk formed on his lips. ”Flawless bro. Tonight is gonna be flawless.” Jay had his driver waiting on the street in case they ran out of alcohol or beads. Grabbing another bottle, Jay opened the champagne allowing the cork to fly into the air, watching it fall down into the crowd of people. As his lips touched the glass, he welcomed the bubbly burn as it slid down his throat. Tonight would be epic.

HE’S A REAL NOWHERE MANSITTING IN HIS NOWHERE LANDMAKING ALL HIS NOWHERE PLANS FOR NOBODY His boyfriend's laughter made him smile, giving the soft hand a squeeze as his free hand lifted to the beads around his neck. Now normally, he didn't dress like this, but what the hell? Why not let his lover pick out an outfit for an extravagant and lovely day out at Mardi Gras? As far as he could tell, everyone dressed up like this for this event, so it wasn't like he stuck out like a sore thumb or anything. "Mardi Gras. It's here, there, and everywhere! But we're supposed to meet Charlie and some other people in front of Babylon, so c'mon!" Eyes were rolled playfully as he was now dragged toward the club, pausing only to take a beer that was offered to him by a young male passing by. Usually, he wouldn't take anything offered by a stranger, but it was a closed bottle, so it was fine. Slinking after Xavier in the direction of Babylon, Jack opened his drink and quickly took a sip, smiling at the familiar taste.
"What did you do, grow up under a rock?" He shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck before scooting a few inches closer to the younger male. "Well... if girls flash someone, they usually get beads for it." A brow was arched when he heard this bit of information, more interested in it since he was bisexual and not gay, like Xav was. "Beads for boobs? Then what do I get if I show them my dick?" he laughed, taking another swig of his drink, hardly aware that it was already half gone. He got so easily lost when he started drinking, though he didn't think he had a problem. Wasn't like he ever hurt anyone or did anything stupid. He casually placed his arm over Xav's shoulders, looking over the crowd with amusement. It took him only a few seconds to spot his and Xav's friend in the crowd, but before he even had time to point her out, the blue-eyed male at his side was already rushing toward her.
"HAIII CHARLIE!" His boyfriend's greeting made him purr, finishing his drink before nonchalantly dropping it to the ground to join with all the other garbage before walking up behind him. A smirk formed 'pon his lips as he was stumbled into, hands quickly moving to his hips to steady the stumbling boy. "Oops..." How cute. So adorable. "Falling down already?" he teased, alcohol-scented breath warm against the skin of his boyfriend's neck. ”And to think you haven’t even started drinking. Hi Jack.” A smile was cast in Charlie's direction before he reached out for one of her hands, gently pulling it toward him and kissing it. "Hello, beautiful," he winked, scanning over Charlie's out. Very bright.
”So what next?” Devious smirk took over his face as arms once more wrapped around his love, lips again pressed against his neck. "We party hard and have a good time?"
