Merrick hated Wednesday's for one reason and one reason alone, early morning classes. She rolled out of bed the last second she could and raced around her apartment to get everything ready, and even then she got to campus too late and walked in on a class that'd already been fifteen minutes in session. Her teacher, although he hated the disruption of her coming around late, knew it was just the type of person she'd been so he ignored her and went on with his lecture. She ducked around some students until she got to her open seat and sat as she sunk into the chair and listened the best she could. At least the class seemed to go by faster today for some reason, and as she heard him dismiss them she stood up grabbing her jacket and throwing it back on as she grabbed her books and hat and walked out of the room with the rest that were in there. She zipped her jacket up as she tucked her books under her arm as she stepped outside. Looking around the sun was now shining a lot more and it was warming the entire place up, and she was even feeling a bit too warm in her big jacket. She went and unzipped her jacket as she walked along the path with the other students getting out of class, but instead of going home she decided to stick around campus for a little while. She didn't have any classes until later in the day so she knew going home she'd just be bored, so she looked around trying to find someone she could target to keep her occupied for a couple of hours. She dropped her books off at a nearby table as she stretched out her arms and looked down at her shoes laughing at how ridiculous they looked. She loved them though even if she'd gotten nothing but insults for them, and honestly she could care less what others have to say anyway. She sighed as all the people that passed weren't striking her interest, but as she turned her attention around she noticed a darker haired figure walking alone down the path. She only caught a glimpse of his face but it hadn't been familiar so she thought she'd check him out more, so she grabbed her books and walked briskly to get right up beside him. It didn't take long since he wasn't walking too fast, and soon she was right beside the man as she glanced over with a grin. "Hi there," she gave a simple greeting as she picked her stride up to match his so she could continue on his path. "Heading somewhere special?" She couldn't tell if he was heading to a class or not, but she hoped he wasn't or else coming up to him in the first place would have been a waste of time. "You new around here? I don't think i've seen you before, not that i'd remember if I had though," she shrugged, starting conversations never came easily for her so you could tell that she was struggling. "You'd think if I took the time to actually come up to you i'd have something to say, fuck, go figure right?" She laughed shaking her head as she shrugged looking down at the books in her hand before returning her attention infront of them. Merrick was all about social interaction even if she was shitty at it, but at least today she could say that she'd been trying.

It had just been the beginning to another day for Anthony he had returned late from the hospital last night he had spent all afternoon with his Annika and Amanda it was the once in awhile feeling that everything was as it used to be back home….it was a small time where they were just normal siblings but that time had to come to an end as both Anthony and Annika said their goodbyes to their sister. From there he had grab a bite to eat with Annika before dropping her of home as he drove back to his place and he had to write a paper so he stayed up till at least 2 am writing his paper as he finished he was able to get some rest before his alarm went off he got up and took his daily jog. He came back home and got his things as he drove over to the gym and did a couple sparring sessions with some of the guys he got into the ring and worked on his movement and punching. Anthony has been boxing for years now at first he didn’t really see the point but he soon found out that he was good at it and it was a good way to relief some frustration and anger as time went on he got better and better and eventually began boxing as an amateur back in new York he had earn a record of 4-0 but right before he could completely commit to it as a career that is when they had been hit with the news that Amanda had cancer and needed to be treated and they had to move. It was a move he knew had to happen and it would be selfish of him not to go through with it so he put his boxing career on hold and finished up high school and soon after moved with the rest of his family to Jacksonville.
After about an hour or so he exited the ring and went back to the showers where he got cleaned up and took a shower. He stepped out and got dressed he put on a pair of black slacks and a button up blue shirt and a sweater vest on top of it. He later went back into the mirror and put some gel in his hair and sprayed on some cologne and was ready for class. Now Anthony took pride in his appreance every time you saw him he was always well dressed hair done never looking like a hot mess. Maybe it was the cockiness but he always had to look good. After he was done he went to his car and drove to school as he arrived 15 mins later he walked into class and sat down now since he started college he was looking to major in business being the only male in the family apart from his father he was going to take over his father’s business which did pretty well and sure he didn’t want to follow in his dad’s footsteps he wanted to make a name for himself on his own he knew a degree in business would open up doors for him ever since he was young he was business savvy always looking for way to make a buck. So it only seemed right for him to venture out into something he was already good at. Plus it would be his backup plan just in case his boxing would not go as he excepted or it could go just as he wanted it to happen but what was he going to fall back once his was done with boxing. That’s another thing he was good at he always thinking ahead and with that all the decision he made were calculated and well thought out.
Class went on as his professor spoke and gave her lecture as he took notes and an hour and a half later class was over he handed her his paper and packed his things and walked out of her class and walked he placed his I-pod in his ear as he didn’t have his other class until later so for now he would just chill out for awhile he got a text and took out his phone and red the message as he responded and pressed send as he placed his phone back in his pocket and continued walking not knowing he was being followed he turned for a split second and when he looked over someone was next to him he looked over as the person spoke “hi there” before he could returned her greeting she spoke again “Heading somewhere special”? he looked at the figure standing next to him as he put his I-pod on pause before he spoke ”hey…no not really heading anywhere special and you are”? Anthony looked at the girl with the weird looking shoes and the top hat ”Little early for Halloween isn’t it”? he let out a small chuckle as she said her next question “You new around here? I don’t think I’ve seen you before, not that I would have remembered if I had though” Anthony stopped walking as they were reaching what seem like a small courtyard. ”yea I’ve only been here a couple weeks and I guess I don’t see how you wouldn’t remember me I have an unforgettable face” “You’d think of I took the time to actually come up to you I’d have something to say fuck, go figure right?” ”Yea go figure….I’m Anthony by the way” "talking like this ." as far as 933 words. the eye can see im wearing. under your command tagged. i will be finished. your guardian REAL SLIM SHADY !? @ caution 2.0 . never say never nottteessss.[/blockquote]

Merrick was thankful to have slipped right next to him, but as she noticed the iPod's earplug cord she almost turned around figuring he wouldn't hear her and would just go about her business. She stood out like a sore thumb and he was sure to see her walking right beside her, but it's not like she wanted to look like a creeper or anything. She gave it a shot though and soon heard a reply, hey...no not really heading anywhere special and you are? She smirked as she noticed him touch his iPod more than likely either turning it down or shutting it off, either way at least he'd be able to hear her now. She was about to answer him before she heard his remark about her outfit, and all she could do was laugh and shake her head, "oh please, this is mild compared to Halloween," she gave him a truthful grin as she thought about some of her past costumes. "I happen to love these shoes, thank you very much." She knew they looked ridiculous, but having him say something about them satisfied her like she couldn't believe.
I don't see how you wouldn't remember me, I have an unforgettable face that comment alone had her grinning as she glanced over at him before the emotion was wiped from her face and she looked straight ahead shrugging some, "I guess I never noticed, guess maybe if it looked like my shoes I might have said something," she teased giving him a wink as she glanced down at her shoes before looking back over at his face. He was handsome although he didn't look all too much like the guys that she normally went for, but something about the way he carried himself had drawn her to him. "You look familiar though, and no that's not going to turn into some lame ass pick-up line about seeing you in my dreams or whatever it is they say," pick up lines were the worst, but at the same time Merrick found them fun to use just to see how people would react. She'd randomly go up to whoever she felt like, whether male or female it hadn't mattered, and after giving them one of her lamest lines she'd bet herself if they'd come home with her or not. Nine times out of ten they were at least flattered, so that had to mean something right?
After his introduction she absent-mindedly brought her bottom lip into her mouth to run her tongue across it as she couldn't help but look him over once more. "Anthony, nice name, sounds masculine," she shrugged some thinking about it, "you italian?" She asked casually without realizing the stereotype. "The name is Merrick," she figured if he introduced himself the least she could do was return the favor. "So newbie, what brings you to Jacksonville?" She asked still contemplating if she should ask him to hang out or not. "You a sucker for this beautiful weather or something?" She chuckled knowing the weather in Jersey was anything but beautiful most of the time. She just hoped that he'd be able to catch the joke, but that would require him knowing what the weather was usually like. "Since you're not heading anywhere special want to get out of here?" She figured it wouldn't hurt to just offer and if he said no she'd figure something else out, but of course she hated being turned down so she hoped he'd be up for hanging out.
