Cori-Marie sat down at a table. The table she usually sat at when she came here. She smiled at the waitress approaching her table. "Um...I'd really just like some hot tea for now please." She nodded as the lady, Michelle, walked away. It had been a while since she'd been here. The last time she had came here was with Matt. Matt Johnson, the love of her life. She sighed. He had left her here. Gone to North Carolina. Not that he wanted to go. No, Matt was addicted to Cori. He loved her and being around her. He even got along with her Quads and her mom and dad. She grabbed sugar as Michelle sat down her tea. "Thanks." Cori said, smiling. She cleared her throat and poured in sugar. She grabbed her spoon and started stirring as a couple walked in. They were holding hands as they walked her way. She smiled as they passed by her. She missed Matt. Cori shook her head as she sipped at her tea.
Cori looked around the place. It was basically deserted. Where was everyone? She was here alone. Where were her friends? Her sisters were no where to be found. Except for Codie who was probably at home on the couch. She'd probably have more fun there. At home. Then here moping about old times with Matt. She sighed as her phone started ringing. She noticed it was a text from Matt:'Corr if u r hme...GET OUT NW! I dnt wnt u hme moping cause i'm in NC. Go do smethng! For me babe(: LOVE and MISS u SOO much cori-marie!<3' Cori smiled. A text from him was what she needed. But a call probably would've been better. But she wasn't supposed to be moping. He wanted her to have fun. She looked around again. She leaned forward, putting her hands on her face.

DOWN DOWN IN AN EARLIER ROUND S U G A R WE'RE GOING DOWN SWINGING - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Humming along to the song currently blasting on his iPod, the junior bounced into Lucy's Diner. He'd never been here before, and since he had nothing better to do had decided to come and spend some money on food and shit. Why else would someone come to a diner? Laughing, he danced in place near the door, scanning the tables. There were only a few people here. A couple sitting together looking all cute and adorable and it made him wanna smile and go 'aww' and then there was a girl sitting by herself. She looked a little upset about something, which made Dakota wrinkle his nose in disappointment. Seeing someone even a little upset looking made him a bit upset himself. He was the type to encourage others to be happy and enjoy every last bit of good there was in life. Deciding to go see what was up, Kota skipped toward her table before flopping down in the seat across from her - why wait for someone to give him a seat? Took too long, anyway.
"What's up, buttercup?" he greeted the stranger, taking out his earbuds and offering her a warm and friendly smile. "A young lady as beautiful as yourself should not be looking so lonely. You'd look much better with a smile on your face than a frown." Cori-Marie looked up. "Um...hi." She sat up straight, putting her hands in her lap. Cori raised a questioning eyebrow. She never had some one she didn't know just sit beside her. She smiled as he spoke of good of her. She knew she was blushing. She never took good to compliments. It always embarrassed her. She brushed some hair out her face. "Thanks. Um..." She started picking at her nails. She cleared her throat. "Just thinking about some stuff...a lot of memories I have here." She rubbed the back of her neck. The last thing she needed to talk about was Matt. She looked over at the guy across from her. He looked sweet enough. Real nice. She smiled politely.
Cori inhaled. "But that's whatever..." She shook her head. "I'm Cori...by the way." She smiled and reached her hand across the table. "Well technically it's Cori-Marie, but most people just call me plain old Cori."

DOWN DOWN IN AN EARLIER ROUND S U G A R WE'RE GOING DOWN SWINGING - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The seventeen year old bounced a little in his seat, fingers absently drumming on the tabletop. Dakota was, and always had been, a happy person. It was just the way he was raised. "Um...hi." He waved, covering his mouth with his other hand as he yawned before running his fingers through straightened brown hair. He took in her blush, brown eyes dancing cheerfully. "See? A lot more pretty when you smile like that!" he encouraged her, turning and waving over a waitress as he listened to the girl speak. "Thanks. Um... Just thinking about some stuff...a lot of memories I have here." Ordering a water and a salad before turning back to the stranger, Dakota offered a sympathetic smile.
"Good memories? Bad? Bittersweet?" he questioned, leaning one elbow on the table and cupping his chin in his hand. "But that's whatever..." He arched a brow but said nothing more about it, shrugging his shoulders and grinning at the waitress as she brought him what he'd ordered, giving her a twenty and telling her to keep the change. "I'm Cori...by the way." His right hand reached out to gently grasp her's and shake it while his left picked up his fork, examining it before stabbing a piece of lettuce. "Well technically it's Cori-Marie, but most people just call me plain old Cori." He took a bite of his salad, chewing and swallowing before answering. "I'm Dakota, also called Kota, Kody, Dokie, DK, and a bunch of other stuff. I think your name is pretty."
