Alright, she could drive! That would save a lot of time and body heat. Man, this girl sure took a lot of chances, though. From the way she said it, it sounded like maybe she wasn’t supposed to be driving her dad’s car, but she would anyways. Gage wished he could manipulate his parents like that. They were pretty easy-going, like him, but they had rules, and they didn’t let any of their children push them over.
“Okay, sounds good!” Gage said. “We could hit Starbucks, and then go to your house,” he continued, unfazed by the fact that her sisters might be home. They weren’t going to be doing anything illegal, at least as far as he knew. “If you really don’t want your sisters to see me or whatever, we can go back to my dorm.” Gage regretted saying it as soon as it came out of his mouth. His room was a mess right now, and he sounded like a total creep for saying that. “It’s your choice though. Whatever you want to do.” Gage smiled at her, feeling more relaxed now. He’d been taught to always let the girl do whatever she wanted, unless she was telling you to choose. In some cases it was annoying, but he wanted to make Hope happy, to get her to smile again.
“I’m pretty sure I have a Starbucks gift card, actually. Except it’s in my dorm. If we swing by there, I could pick it up and you can buy whatever you want.” Good. If they went to his dorm, he could put an actual shirt on under his sweatshirt, maybe put on some cologne. She clearly didn’t think he smelled bad or anything (probably not, anyways) but he would just feel more confident if he had it on. Notes: We hit two pages

Hope could tell he was way excited about her being able to drive. She had to admit...even she was excited about her having her license. She had her own car, but driving her dad's was way more fun. His car was bigger and easy to drive in her opinion. Hope smiled. "How about we go to Starbuck's get something...talk for a while. Then go to my house. I'll give you a tour and everything. I'll even show you my floor." Her smile faded when she realized what her floor looked like. She had the whole 3rd floor to herself and she rarely cleaned because Margie did. But Margie was on vacation so Hope was on her own. Even though Hope only stayed home on the weekends, her floor always managed to look like a tornado went through it. Plus she hadn't cleaned the whole month Margie had been gone. It was a mess. She had clothes, hair products, cheer uniforms, and hair bows everywhere. It was a pink and yellow mess. "On second thought...my floor looks bad. So i'll give you the tour of my house...skipping my floor then we'll take my car back to your dorm room."She smiled. It sounded like a plan to her. Hope cleared her throat. "I'll pay...don't worry about it." It wasn't technically her money anyway. "You can pay next time."words;; 242 outfit;; right here!tagged;; Gage (: notes;; Hope is way too messy.

Hope’s idea sounded good to Gage. Coffee, talking, her house, all fun stuff. The only bad part would be not being able to get to his dorm. Oh well. Sounded like she planned to take him there eventually, anyways.
He was confused when she said she’d show him her floor. Like…her carpet? Maybe it was really soft or had diamonds sewn into it or something? But he didn’t say anything about it. He felt like she was referring to something really obvious and he just wasn’t getting it, and he didn’t want to sound stupid by questioning her. “Alright,” he said, “Starbucks, your house, your, my dorm. Sounds good.” Then he wiggled his eyebrows at her when she told him he could pay “next time.” That meant she wanted to go out with him again, right? (Even though they hadn’t actually gone out for the first time yet.)
“Oh really? Next time? And where, exactly, will that be?” He winked at her, like he had earlier to get her attention. “Somewhere other than your dad’s studio, maybe? Like…dinner and a movie?” he suggested, pretty proud of himself for throwing the idea out there all careless like that. It might take some work, but he could get enough money to take her somewhere fairly nice. It would be worth it, especially if Hope was as pleasant all the time as she was right now. Hope smiled when she noticed he looked confused. "I have a 3-story house. The 2nd floor is mine." She smiled. "I'm the only one who really stills stays there so they remodeled it to the way I wanted it." She realized then how much of a spoiled brat she must sound like. Having a whole floor to herself? Like really, what teenager has stuff like that? Not a normal one that's for sure. But then again, when was she ever normal? She smiled at her thought. "Yes, a next time. But only if this first isn't completely off the wall."Hope smiled. "I like that whole Dinnerr and a movie idea...guess I better show you a good time if I ever expect you to date me." She laughed. Of course, she would wanna go out with him again. He was absolutely amazing. At least so far anyway. They were getting pretty close. She walked over and grabbed her purse. "I'm gonna go tell my dad i'm leaving and you can meet me at the car." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "See you in a few."words;; 193 outfit;; right here!tagged;; Gage (: notes;; it's okay !

Ahh. Three story house. It all made sense now. Gage nodded understandingly. To her next words, he responded. “Of course not! It’ll be great. And don’t worry. You won’t even have to work to get me to take you out again.” It was true. Why wouldn’t he want to? She was, like…perfect.
“Alright. See you in a few.” Gage smiled as she kissed his cheek, then went off to get his stuff. A minute or two later, he stood in the parking lot, realizing he’d forgotten to ask what color the car was, what the license plate number was, anything that would help him identify it. Oh, maybe it wouldn’t be such a problem. There was only one Rolls Royce in the entire thing, anyways. Thank God he had some knowledge of cars. He strode over and stood near the car, but didn’t lean on it. He wanted to, but was fearful of setting the alarm off or scratching it accidentally somehow. Notes: yeah sorry this is a crappy one. D:

Hope walked out and went into her dad's office. She skipped the part about her driving the car. Instead she said Izzi was riding here with her mom and was gonna drive his car home and she was gonna go with Izzi. She also said that her mom already knew so he wouldn't have to talk to her about it. Then she skipped to the part about Gage having to leave and that she told him he could come back in about three days to sign everything. She also told her dad that she made it clear that they couldn't date.
After lying to her dad, she went to lie to her mom. She told her that Izzi, David, and the kids had came down. David was taking the kids so her and Izzi could hang out. Izzi was taking dad's car so Dad was gonna ride home with her. She also said Izzi said for her not to mention David taking the kids alone to Dad. Keys in her hand, she went outside to meet Gage. She noticed him standing next to a car. "What are you doing?" She asked, looking at him questioningly. "That's not my Dad's car..." She hit the lock button and smiled. "That Rover is."

Crap. Gage realized too late that he’d gotten the wrong car. He’d heard her say Range Rover, but had somehow twisted it into Rolls Royce. “Oh, yeah. Uh, I knew that. I was just…looking…at it….” Gage gestured to the ground at nothing in particular. After that, he shut up and hurried over to where Hope was. Hopefully she wouldn’t pick on him about this and just let it go.
“So,” he said. “Nice car. This is your dad’s, though, right? What do you have?” He himself would probably not get his own car until he was eighteen. His family wasn’t poor, but they only had an average income that they used to support three kids. Not to mention, boarding school wasn’t the cheapest thing in the world, even if he did come home on the weekends. Even if his music “career” or whatever he wanted to call it started taking off in the next few years, it was doubtful he’d ever have enough money to get anything but a crappy used one. It would be worth it, though, if he became known. Worth all the countless hours of practice and playing in front of audiences of two. Of course, some support would be nice. He grinned at Hope, thinking of how much he liked her already.
Notes: 1) you can godmod a bit in the next one, like saying they both got in the car and drove away and what not just to keep things moving. 2) I’m super busy this week so I might not be able to post until Friday at the VERY latest, but probably not tomorrow. It just depends on how much homework I have and how late practice runs. This’ll go on until March, sorry. :/

"Right..." Hope smiled at him. It was okay. Everyone made mistakes. She laughed and walked towards her dad's car. She opened the door. "Hey um...I lied to my mom and dad. But I won't get caught or anything. Um you also gotta come back in 3 days with your parents to sign those papers or whatever. For it to be official." She got in the car as she heard his question. "Yeah, it's my dad's." She looked at him. "I have a bmw"

“Okay…in three days…let me put that in my phone…” Gage said, pulling out his phone and making a calendar event. He also texted his mom to remind him in three days in case he forgot. He ignored the thing about her lying to her parents. He didn’t want to think of Hope as someone who lied to other people. Yeah, he lied too, but not about anything big, and she didn’t have to know that just yet.
Gage went around to the passenger door and got in the car. “Cool,” he said, as a somewhat late response to her statement from a few seconds ago. He strapped on his seatbelt and looked at her. “You ready to go?”

"Yeah." She wondered if she had taken it too far by letting him know now that sometimes she was a compulsive liar. She couldn't help herself sometimes. Lying was needed on most occasions. Some more than others. She watched as he got in then smiled at him. "I like you, Gage."
She started the car. "I'm as ready as i'll ever be. So..." She looked at him. "Where to first?" She pulled out the parking spot and drove to the stop sign. Hope stopped and looked at him.
notes;; I'm gonna start a new thread for us when we figure out where we're going and after the car ride over.

Gage smiled widely when she said she liked him. It could mean a lot of different things, but he decided not to over think it. Best just to smile and take the compliment.
Where to? Gage threw his hand up, palm facing the sky, and shrugged a little bit. “Hey, it’s your car,” he said. “Where we go is up to you. I’m fine with it.” He sat back in his seat and gestured out in front of him. He didn’t need to take control. Whatever they did was cool with him, as long as he was still hanging out with this pretty girl. Notes: sounds legit.

Hope smiled at Gage and pulled past into the intersection, making a right. "I wanna stop by Starbuck's real quick. Then we can go to my house." She glanced over at him. "That okay with you?" Pulling up to a stoplight, she realized she forgot to put on her seatbelt. She quickly put it on, looking to see if his was on.
Hope cleared her throat. "I hate silence..." She awkwardly laughed. "So...I don't know much about you. Care to share anything?"

“Yeah, cool.” Gage nodded. Starbucks was such a great place. Gage knew coffee was supposed to be like, super bad for you, but he didn’t care. It was just too good to ignore.
Hope spoke Gage’s thought, surprising him. “Yeah, me too,” he agreed, laughing along with her. After blowing some air out through his lips, he responded, “Alright, well, I have two siblings, one brother and one sister. Both younger. Garrett and Gabriella. My parents like the G names, as you can tell. And, uh, I grew up in Jacksonville. Yep, that’s about it,” he finished, looking at her and nodded. “What about you? You have any siblings? I know you said you had a sister before. Is that the only one?”

Hope smiled. This was a really good day for her. First this great guy and now Starbucks. She really loved Starbucks. Margie was constantly reminding her how bad it was, but she didn't really care. Starbucks was like her best friend. She had real best friends...before she moved here 2 years ago. They were the best...or at least she made them that way. They hadn't communicated in 1 year and 10 months.
"You have younger siblings?" Hope glanced at him and smiled. "How old are they?" She let out a breath as he asked his question. She thought about all her sisters. There were way to many for her. She should've been an only child. "How I wish I only had one sister...there's four of us. Izzi, Alexi,..." Hope rolled her eyes at the mention of Alexi. "Me, and McKynzi. Isabella or Izzi is the oldest. She's 29. Then there's McKynzi. She's 22. Alexi is 17. Then there's me, the youngest at 16."

Gage was happy to find that Hope was interested in his siblings. Smiling, he answered, “Yeah, I do. Garrett is twelve, and Gabriella is ten.” He listened then as she told him about her own siblings. Four, only one more than his own family. But it was all girls. He couldn’t imagine having siblings of only one gender, or even being the youngest child. Both ideas were foreign to him. “Ah,” he said when she was finished. “Why is Isabella so much older than you? If you don’t mind me asking.” Gage figured it was a second marriage or something, since that was usually the case. But you never knew, because sometimes there was a more interesting story behind it.
