Aden always had loved parks, but for one specific reason....playgrounds. The child in Aden could never resist such a tempting location. Aden often goes to the park to think or just to chill. It's always so relaxing and the swings offer something fun to do while contemplation serious thoughts. Today was no exception, Aden was out on the playground swinging like there was no tomorrow. There was something about being a little childish that just put Aden's mind to rest. As he was swinging he noticed the sun was lowering in the sky somewhat, and it looked as if it was going to make an amazing sunset. Another thing Aden could always find beauty in, nature. It was always so unique, the sunrise, sunset, clouds, and everything else in nature was so unique and ever-changing. In a way he could understand that, as he always was changing his style and look. It seemed just right, two things he loved in one place. Now if he only had someone else to share it with, that would be amazing.
That was what always seemed to be Aden's problem, loneliness. He hated being alone, but it was how he had spent most of his days. Sure he had friends, and even had a few relationships here and there, but what he wanted was someone he knew could always be there. Sure Avery and Axel where there for everything, but Aden wanted love, and he never could find that. His partying and flings those helped get him by, but it was never enough for him. He just really needed someone right now, and he hoped that it would come sooner than later.
Aden leaned back in the swing, and let out a loud yell of frustration. He was so aggravated, so alone, and he just wanted it to be over. Luckily it was late, and no one was around to hear him yell, or at least he hoped. He looked around once just to make sure no one heard him, and his quick look revealed no one, so he assumed he was fine. Aden knew one thing to do at this moment, one thing that would calm him down and help him relax. He grabbed his I-pod from the pocket of his hoodie and quickly threw it one some music. The best thing he could think of right now was "Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute On The Creek" by Chiodos. As the song began and the melody and rhythm drifted into Aden's ears, he started to sing. The tune was familiar, one he listened to everyday, and he knew he could sing it well. This would soothe his worrying mind, and he knew it for sure.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] The park had always been a favorite place for Tori. Ever since she was a little girl she had wanted nothing more than to go play on the big-kids playground and chase her peers and those older than her in a game of tag. Fond memories flooded the sober mind of the nineteen year old girl as she made her way down one of the many paths that led to the playground. All around her she could hear screams of children much younger than her, their joyful voices sounding brilliantly in her ears. To be that young again. Back then all the world was hers. From the creek that rolled through her backyard to the wide open feilds where she used to fly her kites, nothing was too big or too scary for her then. A small smile crept onto the girl's face as she recalled the moment she lost her first tooth, it had been at the very playground she was approaching. Her eyes darted this way and that as she watched the parents packing up on the benches near the trails and calling their children over for the short treck back to the cars.
As families rushed past her, eager to get home for dinner and family time, she noted the time by the colors of the sky. If she wanted to get any play in she should probably start soon, as the park would be closing once darkness fell. With purposeful strides the girl cleared the area the monkey bars stood. With each step more and more mulch clung to her fuzzy leg-warmers. She ignored this, as her appetite for swinging was far greater than her care of whether or not her leg-warmers got a little mulch on them. With each step Tori grew closer and closer to the swing set, and with each step the figure she had noted on the way over grew clearer and clearer. If she wasn't mistaken, the lone swinger was Aden Cross, from work she guessed. Her grin dropped a little, suddenly she was more than aware of the mulch that littered her once clean fuzzies. With nimble hands she began to pluck the small pieces of wood from the faux-fur warmers. With little progress eventually Tori gave up and came closer to the swings.
Upon hearing the yell from her co-worker Tori jumped. Unexpected things often shocked her, but at the park, when her gaurd was down, it down-right frightened her. She held herself back for a moment, contemplating whether or not she should take the few remaining steps that separated them. While thinking over the possible results of approaching the obviously frustrated figure music met her ears. The sweet sound of a male singing made the corners of her mouth perk up in a soft smile. It was then she decided that she would bridge the gap between them, both figuratively and literally.
Tori advanced on the swings, stopping about a foot from the empty seat next to Aden. "Mind if I swing with you?" She questioned and she absent-mindedly pulled more mulch pieces from her leg-warmers. Without waiting for a reply, Tori plopped into the swing, causing the loose chains around her to shake in her wake. A slight giggle escaped her glossed lips as she noted the movement from the corner of her eye. I am Tori Monster She thought, destroyer of swing-sets! Rawr! With that she kicked her feet into the air and began to pump her legs at an attempt to swing.
After getting herself to a comfortable level on the swings she turned back to Aden and proceeded to question him. "What ya doin?" She asked, feeling more and more like a child with every moment of silence that passed between them. What would he think of her while she was acting like the children that had just left? She pushed the thought from her mind and continued to pump her legs. It wasn't until she had gained some height that she noticed the sky. The beginnings of a beautiful sunset greeted her eager eyes in a display of vibrant colors. It was truly beautiful.

Aden continued to sit there on that swing set singing his heart out. It was just something that soothed his worrying mind. He loved everything about music, the rhythm, tone, beat, and pitch, it all was so fascinating to Aden. He loved music almost more than life itself. He had always wanted to make singing his career, but instead he followed his days advice. That had been the one thing his dad had ever said to him that made sense. "How do you expect to make a living singing music. Can you support yourself or your family with music?" As much as Aden hated to admit it his father was right. So many people tried to make it big in the music industry. So, instead so pursuing his dreams of becoming a great singer, instead Aden sits in college and pursues his second favorite hobby, graphic design.
As Aden continued to sing he heard something very faint over the music, it sounded like mulch crunch under the foot of someone approaching him. He didn't pay it much mind at first. Then the sound got closer and closer. As he looked to see if someone was coming up on him he saw a familiar face. It was Tori, a girl he had met several times at work. It was quite a pleasant surprise to see her, as Aden had always seemed to thing she was quite adorable. As she approached him he quit singing, it was a self conscious thing. He never minded crowds as long as he knew he was going to have one, but unexpected crowds bothered him, he always felt unprepared. As she started to ask if it was okay if she joined him Aden started to reply, but as he did she had already plopped down on the swing next to him. "Yeah, I don't mind if you stay. I appreciate the company, especially since it's from someone cute." He didn't mean to let the last part slip it just happened and came out as word vomit.
As he sat there staring at the beautiful view in the distance still swinging a little bit, right on cue Tori chimed in. "Well, to be honest I was here trying to get away. I'm kinda aggravated and in a down mood. So, I'm sorry if I'm a total downer." Aden felt bad for sharing company with someone and being so down. It wasn't little the bubbly party animal to be so down. He hoped he could cheer up and salvage a little fun out of this night. As he looked over at Tori he let out sort of a coy smile. "So, what are you doing here?" Aden asked timidly wondering what she could be doing here. He hoped she could add a little excitement to his boring night.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] The swinging girl pouted slightly once she realized that Aden had stopped his singing. With a soft smile she pumped her legs harder in an attempt to reach the swing over the bar that kept it suspended over the ground. In the midst of her swinging she turned back to Aden, a smile playing on her face. "I'm glad you don't mind, otherwise you might have to move." She teased playfully as she slowed herself down on the swings. Her ears caught the last bit of what he said as she put the pink soles of her doc martens into the soil where mulch had been kicked away. This slowed her even more, but not enough to swing comfortably next to the male. "Is there a reason you're down? I'm not very good at cheering people up, but I could try." She admitted, the nurting side of a woman showing through her voice as she slowed herself even more. Now she was directly beside Aden, and concern was showing vivadly on her face.
Was he alright, was she interrupting his solitude. These things, and many more, flooded the girl's brain as she litened to him speak. She noted his honesty, finding it wonderful that he would tell her the truth, even about such a thing that one might tell anyone. She stopped swinging and began twisting the chain in a clock-wise motion, pausing to look the Aden over. "If you want me to leave, I can go. I don't want you to stop singing on my account..." She interupted, hardly hearing the last part of him being glad she was there. However, she did happen to catch the tail end of what he said. As Tori watched him blush she put two and two together and came up with the idea that maybe he liked her being there. "Or... I could stay?" She suggested as she lifted her feet from the soil.
Spinning, spinning, round and round the girl went. Her hair flew from her face as dizziness crept in. Eventually she came to a stop and, slouching over in her own mental torment, began to count stars that were popping up through out her vision. "I came here on a whim, wanted swing some. I'm having a bit of an artistic block and, well, i thought maybe coming to the park might help." She admitted as he eyes focused on the fuzzy fabric that covered her hello kitty inspired boots. Soon the stars disappeared, yet Tori stayed in her position with her head chest in her lap and her arms in 90 degree angles.
"When I was little I used to come here with my dad when he wasn't feeling at all inspired, so I thought that it might work for me as well." Tori then turned to face Aden, a gleeful expresion on her face that said, I'm here to have fun.
She then proceeded to stand on the swings. Her feet firmly on the rubber seat, her hands wrapped tightly around the cold chain and her head held high. "Wanna play tag?" Asked the girl as she began to swing backwards and forwards. This caused her sense of balance to disappear all together and it was all she could do to stay standing and not allow herself to fall on her bottom.

Aden couldn't help but let a small smile spread as she asked what was wrong. It had been awhile since he had found someone who seemed to really care about how he felt, and Tori really seemed to. "No real reason why I'm down to be honest. I'm just kinda stressed, but I'll get over it." He hated being upset or depressed around other people, it just wasn't his style. When around others he tried to be bubbly and fun. The way Aden saw it there was no reason to bring other people down when he was the one feeling bad. He just hoped he could salvage some fun out of this night, and not ruin it for Tori.
"I would really like it if you would stay." Aden said in a now cheery tone. "Don't worry about my singing silly, that's just something I do for fun...I'm not even that good." Aden always tried to be modest about his music. There was no reason to brag about something you couldn't make a living with, that's the way Aden had always been taught. He knew he was a good singer, the awards and numerous agents who approached him spoke for themselves, but he never did make anything out of those opportunities. He just brushed them off as another insignificant part of life.
Aden stared at the sky while listening to Tori talk about how she came here to end her artistic block, and how her dad always used to come here with her. The sky morphed and changed as the clouds over head kept rolling by. It was a beautiful scene, and it was one he was glad he was able to see. He almost wished he had brought a camera, despite the fact that he absolutely failed a photography. He just thought it would be nice to capture this moment and look back on it later. He knew it would be something he could have good memories of.
The next words that came from Tori's mouth where ones he would never be able to forget. "Hell yes, I wanna play tag!" Aden said with the biggest smile on his face. He loved to be a little kid, and tag was one of those things he loved when he was little. He loved running around, feeling the wind on his face, and most of all it was the best when played with a good friend. Tag was a game which to him could make lots of memories and laughs. He was more than ready to play he just hoped he didn't make a fool out of himself. "Not it!" Aden yelled quickly then bolted off like a madman. He could only hope that Tori was fast enough to catch him or else this game would be really boring.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] Tori smiled softly, "You can always talk to me, I'm good at keeping secrets." She proclaimed, dropping to her bottom with a slight thud. She eyed the boy carefully, would he think her weird for offering an ear so soon after really meeting? She shrugged, Aden would think what he thought, there was no use filling her head with dread ideas over what may or may not happen. As she rocked back in the swing she heard that he would like her to stay. Happiness over came her as she let the words sink into her brain. So, he wasn't against her being there with him after all. She grinned with excitement, pumping her legs slightly as to gain a small amount of motion in the swing. Though her mind was filled with happy thoughts she couldn't help but wonder why Aden thought he was no good at singing. "C'mon, I heard you singing and it sounded good!" She protested, her stubborn attitude now showing. Her voice altered to a more dream-like sound as she followed up her statement with, "Though it was faint and right before you stopped..." The girl looked off into the distance, her eyes focusing on the stars that shown near the moon during a sunset. "Look, first star of the night, make a wish." With that said the girl pointed to the star, her face lighting up with excitement. Oh, what she would wish for if what she wished for would come true. Instead of vocalizing her real wish, a hug, Tori decided to tell Aden her second wish. "I wish you would sing for me one day." With that said the girl's face darkened to a light pink.
Talking with Aden was different than talking with other boys and girls she might find attractive. She actually wanted him to see the real her, not the her that she put on display for Lazarus the other day. Tori shook her head and closed her eyes against the thought. Why had she done it? She now had someone that disliked her as well as the possibility for a reputation to start being built. A grimace formed on Tori's face as she thought about the previous interaction. She had come off as so confident and he had seemed interested, but then... That girl, Avery... She had come over and decided that Tori was public enemy number one. A sigh escaped the girl's lips, she should have just ignored the tall stranger and gotten her shopping done.
Hell yes, I wanna play tag. Broke through the girl's thoughts. How long had she been inside her own mind thinking of the different possible ways the situation at the mall could have been handled? It seemed like forever, but was it really just a short period of time? It didn't matter now, for all that mattered at that moment was how she was going to catch Aden when he had taken off so quickly from his own swing.
"You cheated!" She teased about not being able to call 'not it'. Tori then lept from the swing, her eyes following Aden. "I'll still catch you." She called, a smile growing on her face as she raced his way.
All that training for track while she was in high school seemed to be paying her back. With long, quick strides the girl decreased the distance between her and Aden, all the while giggling about how he wasn't going to get away from her. After several minutes of chasing and laughing she finally caught up to him. Once he was in her grasps the small girl opened her arms and fell towards him. She grabbed him in a hug, refusing to just tag him and make him 'it'. "I got you." She giggled as she caught her breath.

Running as fast as he could, Aden still couldn't cover enough ground to get away from Tori. Ever second she got closer and closer. As she finally got right up on him, he felt her fall forward and wrap her arms around him. Aden loved hugs and this one was no exception. Aden turned to face her and wrapped his arms around her as well. "Well it looks like someone wanted a hug pretty bad. You know it would have been easier just to ask for one." Aden giggled. "Your a very silly girl." Aden couldn't help but blush as those last few words exited his mouth. Tori was so adorable, and part of him just wanted to bend down and kiss her where they stood, but he decided that would be a bad idea.
As they stood there Aden came up with a great idea. He pointed over at the merry-go-round. "You know what my favorite thing to do here is..." Aden asked. "I love laying out on that thing and just looking up at the stars. It's so wonderful, I think that's what we should do...and maybe if your lucky I'll sing for you." Aden knew he would sing for her. There was no way he could resist her is she asked. Aden reached down and grabbed her hand. "Come on silly let's go." Aden felt so much like a kid right now and he loved it. There was something about Tori that made him so happy. She was just so carefree and cute that he could just let loose and not care about anything.
Aden need someone like Tori in his life. Someone who could lighten up the mood when he was feeling down or make him smile when he was about to cry, and Tori seemed like she could make him happy no matter what. She was just the right kind of crazy to caught his attention and keep it. He hoped she liked him, or else it would just make his night kinda suck. As these thoughts flowed through his head he laid there looking at the stars, and for whatever reason he knew he was supposed to be here. He knew this night would end up right, and he knew that Tori would be in his life for alot longer to come.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] His embrace was warm and comfortable. His arms fit around her perfectly, this caused the girl's insecurities to drop from the picture for a moment. With a calm smile Tori nuzzled into the hug and rested her head on his shoulder. "Well, how was I to know you'd want to hug me?" She muttered, blowing warm air on his neck with every breath she exhaled. She let her eyes flutter closed in the comfort of the hug, "I'm not silly," She objected, "Okay, maybe just a lil' bit, I guess." Tori added, a little giggle in her voice. As they hugged Tori listened to the breath of the one she held in her arms. Though she had slight anxiety, mostly due to the fact that she was concerned about being judged, his steady breathing calmed her nerves.
Tori let go of Aden as he pointed to the merry-go-round and asked her if she knew what his favorite thing to do was. Well, she had an idea that she attempted to vocalize, but stopped herself as Aden answered his own question. Laying under the stars sounded nice, they could talk and relax, and probably be less obvious to the park security that patrolled the park through out the night. Her smile grew as she looked up at Aden, being sung to sounded wonderful. "I'd like that." The girl half whispered to the one she had just been holding. "Stars and singing sounds like fun." Her voice picked up volume as she said this.
As her hand was grabbed by Aden she felt color creep onto her face again. "Let's go!" She sang as she pulled him towards the merry-go-round. Her spirit was lifted as she skipped and danced beside the boy. Aden's company was certainly something she could get used to. He was fun, easy to talk to and adorable as all hell.
Once she was laying down beside him, Tori felt a flow of questions pop into her head. Such as What do you think about sleep-overs? Of course, Tori was planning on asking him to spend the night for some movies, ghost stories, and other fun things. She turned her body towards him, her head soon followed. "What would you say if I asked for another hug?" She questioned, her fingers tracing the bends and curves of the metal they lay on. Her eyes refocused, taking in the boy she lay beside. It was a much better view right now than anything else.
"Oh!" She said, remembering what she had wanted to ask him about, "Have you thought about going to the Mardi Gras celebration? I hear Babylon's gonna be packed." Of course, she wasn't going to mention that she and Avery weren't really getting along that well at the moment. She shrugged the thought from her mind, her smile fading a bit. She was sure that if he was there then she and Ave wouldn't get into too much of an altercation.

"Well you should have know I would hug you! Most guys never have an opposition to hugging pretty girls." Aden replied with a smile. He would have hugged Tori a thousand times if she had asked for it, he didn't mind. she was cute and he was in need of a good hug. It felt nice to have a nice hug and she was definitely good at giving hugs. He hoped he would get more than one in the future. There was one thing that Aden loved more than hugs though, and that was cuddles. Aden could always be happy if he had someone to cuddle with...unfortunately he had been lacking a good cuddle buddy lately. As of lately all he had was wild flings and long drunken nights spent with random guys for a good time. He wished that would change for sure, he wanted some stability and to be able to know he could rely on the person he was with.
"Stars and singing, my dear....will definitely be a blast!" Aden said as he grabbed Tori's hand, before he knew it the adorable little blonde was dragging him to the very spot he had pointed to not but a few minutes ago. He loved how she was so random and spontaneous, he never knew what she would do next and it was amazing. Tori was so spunky and full of life, and he liked that the most about her. He could get used to having her around for a long time. It would be nice to have her as part of his life, as someone he could rely on...it was weird to him that he was thinking all these things about someone he had just met, but he felt like he had known her all his life. She seemed like someone Aden had always known and cared about, even though he had just now really got to talk to her.
"What would you say to just scooting yourself over her and cuddling up with me?" Aden said answering her question with another question. Sure Aden loved hugs as much as the next guy, but cuddling was something he always had loved. Just the feeling of being next to someone with there arms around you and being so protected and comfortable. It was something Aden cherished more than anything. As he looked over at Tori the moon-lite and stars lit up her face and in the soft light she looked stunning. He never thought he would be so lucky to share this night with someone so amazing.
"Yeah, I have thought about going to mardi gras, I don't wanna go that bad though, it's just another party." Aden replied "I mean I already party enough for a thousand people, so why should I be excited about mardi gras." Aden looked up at the heavens as the stars started to shine brighter in the night sky. He wished this night could last forever, because he could be truely happy if he was lost in this moment.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] Pretty, he thought she was pretty. At this realization Tori turned away from the male, hiding her face behind a curtain of hair. Why had he said such a thing, it made her turn to mush as those words left his mouth. It wasn't as if she didn't believe him, and even if she didn't she wouldn't vocally object. After all, everyone was entitled to their own opinions. Even opinions that Tori didn't necessarily agree with. After her face calmed to it's natural color the girl looked back to Aden, a smile on her face. "That may be so, but no one ever wants to hug me." She whispered, as her eyes shifted to the sky. Even though she hadn't been hugged in a while Tori was no stranger to midnight flings and drunken hook-ups. A bit wild, especially when on ecstasy, the girl could be found flirting with any manner of males or females. She had even tried to get into Kaycee's bed when she had first met him. The memories of her bedroom romps made her giggle nervously. If he knew her past encounters would he still want to hold her?
Tori wanted so desperately a way to escape from the one-night stands and coyote ugly morning encounters. She longed to find someone that could save her from her sex-drive. However, once someone came to find out that she had a bit of a reputation they most often would run scared. Her eyes began to water in fear of the same thing happening again. Aden seemed so pure, though anyone that worked at Babylon couldn't be that pure.
Wiping her eyes Tori allowed herself to smile once more. The promise of singing still on her mind. She turned towards him once more, poking his side in jest. "How bout that song now?" Questioned the girl as she scooted closer to him. "And another hug would be nice." With that she let her arms fall across the male's chest and breathed in his scent. She was content with laying where they were. It was comfortable, though the night's air was a bit chilly and the metal was stealing her warmth, she didn't want to leave.
As they lay there a flashlight shone over their heads, probably the patrol officer making sure no kids were still playing. As the light passed over Tori stopped herself from breathing. To be caught out after dark wasn't that big of a deal, but the moment was too right and she didn't want it to end just because they got caught. "Shhh." She whispered, putting a finger over his lips childishly. "Or they'll hear us." After a bit the light stopped shining in there direction and Tori heard the sound of a car pulling down a gravel path. How she hadn't heard him pull in she didn't know.
Now that the security had left the two could talk freely. She removed her finger from his mouth and placed her hand on his chest instead. "Okay, now what about not going to mardi gras?" She wasn't that concerned with his not going, if he didn't want to he didn't have to. However, it would make the night much more fun to have someone there she could talk with freely. Her mind drifted to Bree from the other night. She had kissed Tori's cheek, shocking both her and her friend. Was the girl always like that or was it just a chance action brought on by the alcohol she had consumed that night. "But, you see..." Tori began, her eyes widening as they moved to see Aden's face better, "I have to work mardi gras, and if you came then it would be much easier on my mind. You know Avery's gonna be there and we had a little bit of an issue at the mall the other day. So... I think she hates me..." She girl's voice dropped in volume as she spoke of Avery. She knew they were best friends and had actually hoped that she could become Ave's friend at one point as well, but now all of that seemed to be ruined by the silly decision she had made outside of hot topic.

Aden loved laying out and looking at the stars. It was so amazing really take in the sight of all the stars in the sky. There was only one better sight in the world to him at this moment, and that was the lovely little girl laying right next to him. He couldn't help but smile right now. He had went from being in the crappiest mood he had been in, in quite awhile, but now he couldn't be anywhere better. He had a Tori here and right now that felt like the best thing in the world. He just hoped he would have more fun times with her like this. It was hard for him to think of anyone else he could share a moment like this with. Axe and Ave both partied to much and neither would want to lay out under the stars with him. All his other friends, well they where just party friends for the most part. It was nice for once to just relax and really enjoy a nice quiet night with someone special.
"Well, I guess I do owe you a song." Aden giggled feeling Tori's finger poke his side. Aden hated being poked, he was so ticklish it wasn't even fun. As he pulled out his I-pod and started to search for a song heard Tori say that she wanted another hug and then felt her arm wrap around him. Aden loved hugs and the one's he had been receiving from Tori where the best he had had in awhile. Right as he found the song he wanted he felt Tori's hand move quickly over his mouth as she told him to hush. He hated the park patrol that came around here this time of night, they never stayed long, but they where just a general annoyance.Just as quickly as they had came the patrol officer left, and Tori's hand came to rest on Aden's chest where he felt it obviously belonged.
The next words that fled Tori's mouth where those questioning his Mardi Gras plans. He really wasn't in the mood to party for awhile, but he figured spending the night with Tori wouldn't be that bad. As she explained she had to work that night and that her and Ave weren't the best friends in the world Aden felt more obligated to go. "Well, if you really want me there, I guess I will be then!" Aden said with a smile. "Now you hush, and enjoy this song I'm about to sing for you. You better appreciated this your the first person I have ever done this for." Aden said handing her one of the earbuds to his headphones. Aden cleared his throat and pressed play. As the short intro of the song played Aden prepared himself to sing and within seconds his melodious voice filled the area around them, he just hoped Tori would appreciate this small gesture of his interest in her.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] Park patrol was always nuisance, and they always happened to come around at about the worst times possible. Tori rolled her eyes as they left, muttering in a voice softer than a whisper "I really hate them..." She pulled herself closer to Aden and closed her eyes to the sound of his laughter. It was adorable to hear a boy laugh, especially one that Tori had a crush on. "So, what are you gonna sing for me?" She asked and quickly landed a kiss on his chin. Color flooded her face. Why had she done such a thing, he probably thought she was weird now. The girl then buried her face in Aden's chest, hiding her embarrassment in his shirt.
Mardi Gras with Aden would be so much fun. The colors, the sights, the drinking, she was ecstatic to hear him say that he guessed he would go. "Yay, I 'm so happy!" She sang and lifted her face from his chest. Color still stained her cheeks and she tried her best to rid them of any pink that showed. With a great grin she looked up towards his face, she would be quiet if he would sing.
As he handed her his ear bud she felt as if she was entering a secret world, one that only those close to him were permitted to enter. Music filled her ears as Aden's voice, along with the music she heard, flooded the airwaves. Her grin grew even more and she found it almost impossible to control her urge to cuddle him closer. I'm so happy. She thought, her mind now shifting to the boy's words and the tune in her ear.
It was a magical night, it was full of fun and hugs and music. One of the best that she had experienced in a while. Her smile softened to a slight grin as she snuggled into his chest. Why was she letting him get past all the walls she had built, how was he any different than the one night stands. She guessed it was his easy-going nature and the fact he hadn't yet tried to get in her pants. However, she doubted this would be the case if they had met at a party or while either one of them was fucked up.
In her mind she formulated how she would ask him how it would have gone down if they had met in a different place or time. Such thoughts caused here insecurities to grow. Would she had just been another one night stand if they met on any other circumstance? Thoughts like these raced through the girl's head. She was scared of the truth. As she thought these things and formulated what she would say she listened to his singing. It brought down her worries, but not enough for them to disappear completely. "Aden..." She mouthed and opened her eyes. They were now completely adjusted to the dark, though the light of the stars made everything seem brighter.

"I really hate the night patrol to!" Aden laughed he had, had more than one run in with the pesky park patrol. "What am I going to sing you? Well ma'am I guess you'll just have to wait until I am ready to sing because this one is a surprise." Aden said reaching over and tickling Tori for the unexpected poke she place in his side. Aden hated being tickled, but he didn't mind this time. He couldn't get made at Tori, he just didn't have it in him. Her big blue puppy dog eyes just made him melt. Tori wasn't like the other people Aden was usually with, this girl was really special, and Aden hadn't had a crush on anyone in a long time....Until now.
"Why are you so happy I'm going to Mardi Gras. It's really no big deal. I mean spending the night with you will be amazing of course, but besides that, well it isn't much." Aden really didn't care one way or the other if he went or not. He went usually every year and it really wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Sure it was like a huge party and everyone was getting messed up, but that's what most days for Aden where like. He really wanted to start moving out of the party scene and finding someone he could go steady with. It just hadn't worked out yet. All the people Aden had been with didn't want anything serious. The guys he was normally with where always smoking, but they didn't want to be tied down. The girls well they where a totally different story, they where always hot as hell to, but Aden never wanted anything serious with them. Girls normally weren't Aden's cup of tea, but Tori she was something special, one in a million most would say.
For Aden this had so far been one of the best nights he had, had in a long time. Tori was everything he could ask for in a girl, she was cute, sweet, caring, funny, loved to party, and random. There was absolutely nothing he could think of that he didn't like about her. Sure she had been known for sleeping around, but so did he. He didn't mind, because when he was committed to something he always stuck with it. Though another place and time, and these two could have been nothing more than a random one night stand, but on the other hand Aden would never let someone this amazing get away without a second date. Aden was afraid of hurting Tori, she was to sweet and loving to just throw away, but what would Ave and Axe think of her. Would she be able to fit in with his friends, these where the thoughts that plagued Aden's mind as he sat there still singing.
As Aden wrapped up the song, softly over the music he heard Tori say his name. Aden turned his head to look at Tori. Her big blue eyes, had a look of worry in them, something Aden had a hard time looking at. Aden was worried he had done something wrong or that Tori didn't like him, both of which he would be crushed by. He wanted everything to go perfect and he wanted Tori to like him more than anything. "Yes?" Aden questioned. He just hoped it wasn't something bad. He really wanted this to work out.

Victoria Antoinette Wood [/b] The wind blew harshly through the park, this sent a chill up the spine of Tori Wood. She shivered slightly as warmth fled her body. While they lay there in the cold, Tori scooted even closer to Aden, so that her chest was against his arm. "Sorry..." She muttered, "I get cold easy." with that admitted Tori proceeded to steal warmth from the male's body. He was so warm and cuddly that she closed her eyes to the comfort of the boy's body.
No sooner had she begun relaxing than she felt Aden's touch on her side. As quickly as she had moved close the girl was rolling away. "Stooooop iiiiit." She pleaded through laughter and now bumped her head on the metal pole that ran towards the outside of the circle they lay on. Once her head hit the girl found herself on her knees within an instant. She gripped her head in pain while tears flooded down her face. "Oooooh, that hurt so baaaaad!" She cried, now vocalizing her pain. Even in the midst of her pain she still had enough character to joke with Aden, "Kiss it better?" She pleaded as she leaned towards the male once more.
Through her silent sobbing she still heard Aden's bit about Mardi Gras. She was ecstatic when she heard that the best part would be him spending the night with her. "Really?" She cried as moved even closer. "I'm so glad to hear that, but if you really don't wanna come.. Well... I can't really make you." She admitted as she realized that she may have just guilted Aden into attending Mardi Gras. Though she knew it would be fun, she couldn't help but wonder why he was so against going to the biggest party of the season. "How bout I call in sick and instead you come over to my place?" She suggested as a joke. Calling in sick on a busy night wasn't a good idea, but it would be so much fun to have a slumber party with Aden. Of course Izzy, her room mate's dog, would be there to make things a bit more complicated. However, Tori wasn't even considering that Aden would decide against or for it.
When it came to slumber parties, Tori believed she held the best ones. They always included a little bit of drinking and lots of snuggling, regardless of who was spending the night. Tori giggled at the thought of what they might do if he spent the night. Of course, she'd probably be extremely fucked up that night so it might be like her multiple one night stands. However, there was the possibility that she might scare him off with her wild side that night.
No matter the possible situations that she might encounter that night, or any night that they may have a sleep over. In fact, a sleep over might be nice about now, for Tori was freezing in the chilling wind of the winter night. Her thoughts on sleep overs were interrupted by the "Yes?" of Aden Cross. She turned to face him quickly. What had she been wanting to say that she had muttered his name? Oh that was right, she had wanted to ask what might happen if they had had a one night stand before all of this. Would they end up like Ave and Laz or burn out like her previous one night stands? "Do you think we could go someplace warmer, or at least get a blanket from my car?" She asked, her question the complete opposite of what she had originally wanted to ask. To the question she hoped he would say yes for she was not a fan of being cold.

Aden couldn't help but feel bad as the poor girl he was just tickling hit her head. It looked like it hurt really bad, and apparently it did. Tori cried out and pain and she was clinching her head. Aden was so sorry, he had never meant to hurt her. In fact he meant to keep her company and make her happy. He felt so bad and Tori leaned over pleading for him to kiss it better, he felt like he had no choice but to do just that. Aden reached his hand over a wiped the tears from Tori's eyes and then placed a gentle kiss on the spot where she hit her head. As he looked at her tears roll down her face, he moved his lips down and then placed a short gentle kiss on her lips. He hoped she wouldn't be offended. As he turned away quickly and blushed terribly.
Aden was glad Tori was excited for him to go to Mardi Gras, he really wasn't that excited about going, but he would for her. He wanted nothing more to make her happy. He knew that spending the night with her would be awesome. He could tell that this would be the start of something wonderful. He hoped she thought so to. "Yes, really!" Aden said "I want nothing more than to spend my Mardi Gras with you! I would say you could call in, but on such a busy night might not be good. We can always hang out once you get off though and I'll chill with you at work to." Aden was so excited to be spending time with Tori period. She was by far the coolest girl he had ever met. He never really had been good with girls, that's kinda what brought his sexuality to where it is today. He just wanted love he didn't care who it was from and when most girls turned him down, well he turned to guys. Guys could be more accepting and not care about the little things, but he thought tonight he might have found someone who genuinely cares.
Aden wanted nothing more than to stay here all night. He didn't want to move, he was perfectly happy right here next to Tori. If it wasn't so chilly he could probably fall asleep right here, and be happy. This was probably one of the best nights of his life. He never thought he could be so happy, most of Aden's life was full of sad stories and broken hearts. He never felt like he was one of the people in the world who where meant to be happy. Tonight though he was reconsidering his outlook on this ordeal, he honestly had not been this happy in a long time. There was something special about this girl, he had never been able to sing for just one person before. He had sung for crowds thousands of times, but something like singing to someone close to you was a much bigger deal to him. It meant more, that the song was meant specifically for them and not a whole crowd of people. With Tori though he was calm enough to sing her a song and that was special.
Aden looked over at Tori as she shivered and asked to go someplace warmer. He hadn't realized how terribly cold it was until Tori had said something. The cold night breeze was very chilling. "Of course we can go somewhere warmer, but on one condition." Aden giggled. " We only get to go somewhere warmer if you promise to cuddle up with me!" Aden was always one for cuddling and so far Tori was making an amazing cuddle buddy and he didn't wanna lose that. He was more than content laying right next to the her all night. He would sing her song or hold her close whatever she wanted as long as she would stay right there next to him. He just hoped she was happy was he was about the situation.
