personality: Hunter is a southern gentleman, period. He's one of the rare men left who still think it's proper to hold doors for others, court a lady, sit down and have dinner every night with your family, and have morals and standards. Hunter likes to be different, and doesn't succumb to pressure or taunting. Growing up in a small, southern town Hunter was taught how to be a good boy. He likes to meet new people, especially people with a good story. His favorite past times are reading and listening to others lives, he is fascinated with how different everyone can be, and loves to revel in the simple things in life. Hunter likes things to be mellow, and goes with the flow, never planning anything. He'd rather spend a day on his wraparound porch, reading a book, and sipping some ice tea than running around and making lunch dates with friends. He likes the simplicity of life, and doesn't stress out, except when it comes to academics. He wants to be able to go to college, get a good job, and support a family. Hunter just wants a "white picket" lifestyle, perfect and nothing to worry about. This train of thought often gets Hunter into bad situations with his carefree thinking, but he hates being defensive. Hunter likes to think everyone is a good person, and often trusts too easily and gets hurt. Lately he has become somewhat of a recluse, never seeing friends, and just being by himself, but moving to New Jersey because of his father's job has gotten him into the point of having to make friends again, no choice. So here he is, the new boy in town, in between his old personality of easygoing gentleman, and his new personality of a shy, reclusive charmer. Now he has to figure out how to start a new leaf.

The hallway was dark; pitch black, to be exact. The floors were carpeted with deep, dark velvety red carpet that looked like you were walking on a sea of blood, and it went on and on as far as the eye could see. Colors blended together, making the room look longer than it really was and the walls were bare with blackness. Not a sound could be heard, and no one spoke. Were there other people in the room? There may have been, or maybe it had just been a mouse or cockroach.
Suddenly, a light! It was one of those old-fashioned oil lamps and it cast a morbid shadow on the floor, making the ugly color of red even more protruding and unwelcoming. Where was this place? Simple, a manor, the basement of a manor to be exact and at the end of the hallway there was a boy. One lone, little child hugging a one-eyed dirty teddy bear to his chest was all there was in the room, or was he? The boy screamed of loneliness and sadness and as he began to shuffle his little bare feet across the carpeted the floor, he began to tremble.
The room’s light flickered slightly as the boy walked along the hallway, scared of what might be in store for him, he was scared of the light going out, scared of being alone again, scared of being left to die. He felt the wall next to him and shivered. The wall was frighteningly cold and the paint seemed to have chipped off as he brushed his fingers against it. As the flakes floated down to the floor, like winter’s snowflakes, and landed on the carpet the light flickered dangerously and it suddenly went out, just as it came on.
The boy froze, stuck to the spot as if the carpet was quicksand and he knew he mustn’t move. He knew something was terribly wrong with this room and he needed to get out, quick as he could. A bead of sweat trickled down the little child’s forehead as he wrung his hands tighter around the teddy’s fur, as if a security blanket. Then, he ran, he ran back from where he had came in, but it was no use, the room seemed as if it was a treadmill, never getting any closer to his destination, and further away from where he was.
Without warning something hit the boy in the back of his head and he fell to the floor, nearly conscience. His artic blue eyes began to droop slightly from exhaustion as he made out a human figure in front of him, but it was veiled by the darkness of the room, and he could only make an outline of the body. It was a man’s, he must have been an adult because his body was well-defined, and strong as the figure bent down and grabbed the boy’s wrists as he began to drag the boy’s body somewhere, the boy himself didn’t know where he was going, and his wrists hurt badly but he was just to tired to fight back. The back of his head throbbed from whatever had hit him, and his eyes began to close, close just in time to miss centuries worth of nightmares and anxiety, just in time to miss…
Theodore Kingsley Malfoy woke up with a start as he gasped from the dream. His hands, and body, began to tremble and shake uncontrollably as he recollected the things he witnessed in the dream. What did it mean? He ran a hand shakily threw his sweat-soaked hair as he threw the covers off of his sweat-adorned body. He flung his legs over to the side of the bed and brought his hands to his head as he tried to reorient himself.
A wave of nausea passed over him as vomit rose up into his chest and he had to practically sprint to the bathroom before the nausea passed him and he slumped up against the toilet and began to shake his head back and forth. He had that dream countless times; so many times he had lost count. He willed himself not to sob as he glanced down at his wrists, noticing the unusual redness of them, like he had been drug across a room.
Flushing the toilet, TK peered out of the bathroom to spot his roommate still fast asleep. Good, he thought to himself as he glanced over to the clock on his own nightstand, seeing the red numbers flash 2:25 A.M. at him as he tried to calm himself down. It wouldn’t be any use of going back to sleep now because he had gone threw this routine one too many times. Whenever he had this dream, he would never get back to sleep, because when he closed his eyes all he could picture was this heartless figure dragging the boy across the room.
Water pelted down on TK’s body as he leaned against the shower wall, trying to think of why he had that dream so frequently, and so suddenly. Last year he had never had this dream, but all of a sudden, this year he had been having it twice a week, or something like that. But he shook all of the negative thoughts away from his mind as he washed his hair, and finished the rest of his shower.
After TK had came out of the bathroom, all dressed and looking refreshed, the clock blinked back 3:00 A.M. at him. He stuffed his hands into his hoodie as he slipped out of the dorm room, in search for something to do. He slipped quietly out of the Ravenclaw Common Room without a peep and began to walk down a passageway, still pondering what to do, or where to go.
As he wondered down the hallways, and passageways TK fell upon a door. A lone door in the hallway, all by itself. He raised an eyebrow, wondering why he had never noticed this door before he put his hand on the doorknob. He didn’t think the room would be open but he he slowly twisted the knob, it clicked open and he opened the door enough so he could peek inside of it.
What his eyes uncovered was an empty classroom, but instead of desks or tables there were many couches and pillows adorning the floors. Curtains hung from the ceiling, giving the room a very bohemian feeling. There was a chalkboard on the other side of the room, looking like a piece of chalk had never touched its black surface. He opened the door a bit wider, so his body could slip threw the doorway, and he left it open a slight tad, because he knew it was foolish to shut oneself inside an unknown room.
The room was surprisingly free of dust and it seemed as if was a product of display, like part of a museum piece that had to be kept perfect. Slowly, but surely, TK lowered himself down unto one of them many couches and situated his body so he could stare up at the ceiling. He concentrated on the many luxurious and royal purples as his thoughts began to wonder, wonder back to the dream, and who that boy was…
