She sat on the bench watching walkers and joggers going by in the courtyard, headphones in her ears, singing along to the shuffled songs, not caring about the world around her. This was her first day at a new school, in a new place, which was the first step in taking her new life. Jenna couldn't be happier that she got to start over, not that her past years had been bad or anything, it was just time for change. It relieved her to hear the song "Airplanes" coming into her ears through her Apple headphones, there was something about this song that made her feel at home. It was as if though she felt that she could use a wish everyday. As a group of boys walked by she began to think back to John and how he had acted. He hated her for coming here, for leaving him and wouldn't even speak to her at this point. It was official, they were over, and she didn't know if she could replace him with an actual genuinely nice guy. Not that John wasn't a nice guy, he was just a nice guy for the wrong reasons. One thing was for certain though, sitting on this bench wasn't exactly her idea of a good way to meet people.
