She doesn't like to straighten her hair (it just frizzes after), so she usually lets it retain its natural curl. Dessa tends to wear sundresses or a shirt/skirt combo and has many pairs of sunglasses. Some days, she'll just wear a t-shirt and jeans if it's colder, or shorts if it's hot out. In terms of footwear, she'll go for heels, flats, or flip-flops.
personality: Dessa comes off as a preppy girl, but she's not afraid to stand up to people who insult her or her friends. She's a city girl at heart. It's hard to gain her trust, but once you do, she'll open up more. Dessa isn't the type who screams out random things; she's more the type who will sit there, amused, and maybe contribute to the conversation. She's more of an observer.
When in class, Dessa is generally respectful of her teachers and classmates. She despises having substitute teachers unless the real teacher is mean. If a teacher doesn't respect her, she won't show any respect to that teacher either. Once in awhile she does her homework, but when it comes to projects, she is big on procrastination. In terms of athletics, Dessa does like to run and does so in her free time.

It was a new day, and frankly, Dessa didn't care. Stretching and standing up, she ran her fingers through her hair and sighed. She'd been up late last night doing homework. She wanted the day to be over already. Dessa stretched again and walked over to her closet, selecting a yellow babydoll tee and a pair of Paris Blues jeans. Grabbing her purse, she walked outside.

Dessa's favorite spot to read was a bench protected by the shade of a tree. Upon reaching it, she pulled out her current book and opened it. She pretended to read for about five minutes and got tire of it. Dessa sighed, put the book back into her purse, and sat back. Maybe today was just a day for people-watching.
