the end of the day, a sigh of relief escaped sammy's lips as she made her way toward the locker rooms, she had track and field practice this afternoon. she loved sport, but only track & field and swimming, and since it was still a little too cold for swimming, she was stuck with track & field. not that it bothered her the slightest. exercise was one thing that sam took pride in, she wasn't the thinnest girl around, and she liked that, but she wasn't fat or overweight, she was just right in her opinion and most others as well. she took a walk pretty much every day, but if she missed it, didn't feel like it or something came up and she couldn't take her walk, she wasn't going to be pissed about it, she'd just shrug her shoulders and do something else. hardcore exercisers and sporting people got on her nerves, and that was saying something, sam almost always got on with everyone she spoke to. one of the ups of being happy and bubbly with strangers.
when she got to the locker room, she threw her things into a spare locker, and changed. she had chosen a white singlet top, with a pair of navy blue shorts for this afternoon's session. she was different almost every time. it was part of her randomness, she liked to be surprising, like people never knew what she was going to wear next. once she was ready, she locked her chosen locker and headed out to the field. looking around, she whistled to any tune that came to her head. there was next to no-one out here. oh that's tim. she got a little excited when she saw him, and skipped toward him. she came up behind him, jumped on his back and wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug while squealing a little with, timmy!
so maybe she was a little over excited to see him, but that was what she was like with most of her friends. they were all used to it by now, well except those ones that were only new, but they'd have to get used to it sooner or later, because she wasn't going to change any time soon. once she let go off him, and got off his back she smiled and simply said "hi".
notes - i hope mine's fine, i kinda rushed it a little. XD and its a bit short too, mhm.

" he began, both eyebrows raised in shock. He spun around but, of course, this didn't help much, seeing as his attacker was still clinging to his back. After a moment, he managed to calm himself down and regain his balance. Then, of course, he realized that it had only been his friend. He blushed slightly as she slid off his back. Then, once he was able to look at her properly, he smiled bashfully. " Oh! Sammy! Jesus, you suprised me!" He groaned in embarassement, running a hand through his hair. That had been some reaction. She'd just effectively revealled the fact that he, Timothy Wright, was a wimp. As if anyone hadn't seen that coming. Gradually, as he calmed himself down, Timothy shook his head at himself. " Anyway," he said, intent on moving on, " hi!" He laughed, spreading his arms to wrap her in a proper hug. One of his favourite things about Samantha was her over-the-top, bubbly attitude, and he took advantage of it every chance he got. Pulling away, he asked, " how are you?" His eyes sparkled with excitement, and he was acting slightly flambuoyant without actually realizing it. After a moment or two, however, he caught on, and physically forced himself to man up. Just because he was in the presence of a girl didn't mean he had to act like one. Smiling amiably, he looked out over the track, still anticipating the exercise to come. " Excited for track?" he inquired, rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet. His shoes sunk into the soft grass slightly, but he didn't notice. He didn't really care about his shoes all that much, so long as he could still run in them. [/ul]
